Effect of the Peer Emotion Coaching Program on the High School Students' Emotional Recognizing, Empathy and Emotional Regulation (또래정서코칭프로그램이 고등학생의 정서인식, 감정이입, 정서조절에 미치는 효과)

  • Purpose of this study was to improve the emotional intelligence of high school students in adolescence, to solve the difficulties of relationships, to solve the maladjustment problems, and to provide practical data that can be used to prevent their deviant behaviors by identifying the effect of peer emotional coaching program on emotional intelligence in high school students. This study consisted of the experimental group of 14 students and the control group of 14 students from 28 students who voluntarily wanted to participate in the peer emotional coaching program from April 17 to May 29, 2017 in S high school located in G city. The peer emotional coaching program was applied for the experimental group over 12 sessions, and the pre and post test of both groups were performed simultaneously. A corresponding sample T test was performed for the collected data that were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 for Windows. As a result, the emotional awareness of the experimental group was found to have a significant effect on the peer emotional coaching program, but the empathy and the emotion regulation did not show any significant effect. It was found that the peer emotional coaching program was a medium that could affect the emotional awareness of high school students. With the results of this study, we suggested a way to improve the emotional awareness for high school students.

The Effect of Emotion Coaching Program using Animation on Infant's Peer Competence and Communication with Teachers in charge (애니메이션을 활용한 감정코칭 프로그램이 유아의 또래 유능성과 담임교사와의 의사소통에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of the study is to investigate the effect of an emotion coaching program using animation(the program) on infant peer competence and communication with teachers in charge (teachers). To this end, 30 infants aged 5 years residing in the Seoul area were selected to form 15 experimental groups and 15 control groups. An emotional coaching program using animation for 15 children aged 5 years in the experimental group was conducted 7 times a week for 50 minutes each. The main contents of the program were organized to name the emotions of children aged 5 years old through various emotion scenes, to recognize my emotions and to empathize with the emotions of others. To verify the effectiveness of the program, peer competence and communication with the classroom teacher (social competency test) were conducted before, after, and after (4 weeks after the end of coaching). As a result, both peer competence and communication with the classroom teacher were significant. And the program continuity was verified. Finally, the implications and limitations of the study through the results of this study, and suggestions for future research were discussed.

  • This study aims to observe the operation aspect of physical education during before class and further, to search for the utmost improvement direction using IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis). 500 middle & high school students have chosen through a purposeful sampling method, and 430 was used for analysis. The results were as follows. The quadrant I is "the keep up the good work" part. And the quadrant I includes "de-stress", "the pleasure of school life", "improvement in performance", "peer relationship", "help for P.E.", "health promotion", "sport facility surroundings", "rules", "teacher leadership", "passionate coaching", "fair coaching", "improvement in exercise ability", "understanding P.E." The quadrant II is "the concentrate here" part. And the quadrant II includes "develop talent", "excercise time", "safety management for exercise facility", "new sports event", "consider needs and interests", "consider level" "consider gender". The quadrant III is "the low priority" part. And the quadrant III includes "change of personality", "ability to do various sports event", "develope thinking ability". "communication with peer" "an intelligible explanation" In order to improve the quality of before classes, first, "safety connected program" second, "emotional and intellectual development program", third, "divided classes per level and gender", and the last, "professional manpower for developing the quality of class" are needed.
