This study was carried out to identify variables related to morbidity perceived by residents who lived in an urban poor community in Seoul city, to analyze correlation between varibles and morbidity, and to find out factors related to the morbidity. Chi-square test, t-test, Pearson's C. C., and factor analysis were employed in this study. The factors labelled by this study are family expenses, housing environment, consumption level, and health care. It may be concluded that a morbidity pattern in specific communicty is strongly associated with socio-economic factors as we observe it at macro level. If the conclusion is acceptable, the health care system should pay attention to reducing the incidence itself through controlling socio-economic aspects of the community and should be reoriented. In this context, the primary health care approach which World Health Organization has advocated can be justified.

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the accuracy of input coefficients which are usually estimated by various non-survey methods. The resulting analysis showed that there were considerable differences employed. One of the interesting findings was that the simple LQ method was shown to be better then the other non-survey methods with respect to the degree of accuracy. And from a sensitivity analysis which was to show the effect of changes in input coefficients on the level of production by industry, an increase of 10% in the value of input coefficient (machinary and equipment setor) resulted up to 500billion Won in GRP for the case region. Therfore one of the implications which we can derive from the resulting analysis is that it necessary to pay attention to the key coefficients first to save out time and money, while retaining a certain level of accuracy. One thing to be noted, however, is that the key coefficients but the total effects which are calculated through the Leontief inverse matrices. Therfore to enhance the accuracty of input coefficients estimated by nonsurvey methods it is required to handle the relevant setoral data more carefully or to employ semi-survey method in part.
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the difference of the value in main production areas affected through the hedonic price model and the conjoint analysis. In addition, the partial value of each attribute level, and the consumers' willingness to pay(WTP) for change in each attribute level are analyzed. For this, we compared the value of apple determined in Garak market with the value that consumers' WTP. The result showed that there is a gap between the market value and the consumers' preferences on apple. It means that it is necessary for the local branding to be more developed to receive higher sales. Furthermore, understanding the consumers' preferences on the apple attributes can enhance the consumer utility and the competitivity. As a result, this study provides an apple marketing direction for main production areas that has been changing due to climate change.

This study supplements the limitation as much as possible that existing literatures have, and, on the target of new registered businesses to KOSDAQ, this study presents answers to the worries raised earlier by recovering problems on causal relationship direction between foreigner investment and dividend level and by analyzing them with dividend level as an independent variable. First, with the whole samples used, dividend income rate didn't show significant relationship with foreigners' investments. It is similar to study result of the existing literature. A panel analysis, on the target of sample businesses that paid dividends before foreigners' investments originated, showed that foreigners' investments didn't have a significant effect on dividend rate. It means that foreigner investors don't have an effect on dividend level. But, a panel analysis of samples shows that foreigner investments have a significant thesis relationship with dividend level variable, that is dividend return rate, except the businesses which paid dividend before foreigners' investments originated. It means that in case foreign investors' preference is controlled, in the businesses which pay dividends, foreign investors have a significant effect on dividend level to native KOSDAQ. Especially, this study result is very significant, for it shows that dividend return rate, insignificant in existing studies, was significant when foreigners' preferences to the businesses which pay dividends was controlled. It means that the more foreigners' shares increase, the more relative importance of dividend out of all profits increases, compared with all of the amounts at the time, and that foreign investors stick to short-term profit and induce big dividend.
This study was aimed for evaluating the validity of relative-productivity index on the basis of working hour(RPHW index) designed by author as new productivity index and drawing up a plan of bettering productivity to cope with financial difficulty of dental laboratories. Fortyeight dental laboratories extracted by cluster-sampling method form all the dental laboratories in Seoul were subjected for this study. And in each of them, the term of establishment which was divied into three group as short-term, mid-term and long-term group, the scale of dental laboratory which as divided into two group by number of dental technician as small-scale group and large-scale group, the salary system which was composed of salary criteria, pay according to ablility criteria and collectiveagree, the salary level, simple labor productivity index(SLP index), relative-productivity index on the basis of worker number(ROWN) and relative-productivity index on the basis of working hour(RPWH index) were surveyed through the self-administractive questionaires. The results as follows : Most of dental laboratories(93.6%) were managed by non-professional managers. The establishment rate per year of dental laboratory was the increase. The mean number of employees of dental laboratories was $7.00{\pm}3.90$ person. The ratio of smallscale group(under the 5 employees) was 42.6% and as the term of establishment was shorter, the ratio of small-scale group was higher. The mean establishment area of dental laboratories was $24.49{\pm}10.97$ unit and the mean establishment area per head of dental laboratories was $4.05{\pm}3.90$ unit. The estabilshment area and area per head were not significantly associted with the term of establishment, but as the term of establishment was shorter, the estabkishment area per head was slightly wider. The establishment area per head in small-scale group was significantly wider than large-scale group(over the 6 emplayees) The salary criteria(54.4%), pay according to ability(79.2)m ability criteria(77.1%) and collectiveagree(79.2%) as salary systems were used in the most of all dnetal laboratoies. The all salary systems were not significantly associated with the term of establishment and the scale of dental laboratories. The monthly mean salary level of dental laboratoies was $125.64{\pm}31.06$ milion won. The monthly salary level was not significantly associated with the term of establishment and the scale of dental laboratores. But the monthly salary level in the short-term group and the small-scale group were slightly lower than others. The SLP index, the RPWN index and the RPWH index of dental laboratories were $132.16{\pm}48.41$, $382.41{\pm}128.76$ and $76.06{\pm}25.11$, respectively. The SLP, the RPWN and the RPWH of dental laboratories were not significantly associated with the term SLP, the RPWN and the RPWH of dental laboratories were significantly associated with the area of dental laboratory and the salary level. Except for only the association salary criteria among salary system with RPWH of dental laboratories, all other salary system were not associated with the SLP, the RPWN and the RPWH of dental laboratories.
The South Korean rail authority is constructing a nationwide tourism belt by developing new rail tour routes in an effort to combine local tourism resources with rail service and to create value in regional areas. As massive financial resources are required to develop and operate such tourist trains, governing authorities are required to examine the feasibility of this project as a sound business model and to assess the public benefit and profitability of the project. In this study, the economic feasibility of the tourist trains was assessed with the contingent valuation method (CVM). According to an estimation of the willingness to pay of potential tour train passengers, the surveyed subjects were willing to pay fares that were higher than prices currently published at the time of this study, thereby demonstrating that the economic value they invest on tourist trains may be higher than published prices at the time. For instance, they were willing to pay 28.4% and 54.9% more for the O-train and V-train types, respectively, according to the study, suggesting that the quality as perceived by train passengers for tourist train services is relatively high. The study is significant in that it succeeded in quantifying the satisfaction level of tourist train passengers using quantitative data (additional funds people are willing to pay).

The purpose of this study is to examine consumers' responses to mobile payment services by using a text-mining technique focusing on Samsung Pay as it is used in both online and offline transactions. We conducted text frequency analysis, text clustering analysis, and text network analysis using R programming. The major findings are as follows. First, the most frequently used key words referenced the brand names of the mobile devices, the replacement of traditional wallets and unique functions of Samsung Pay. Second, there was a clear split between positive and negative responses at the macro level. Third, replacement of traditional wallets played a great role in the positive responses and continuous use of mobile payment services. This study provides in-depth understanding of consumer responses toward mobile payment services. It also offers practical implications that may help mobile payment marketers correspond to consumer values and expectations, thus increasing consumer satisfaction.

COVID-19 led to an increased need for mountainous urban parks in the city that can be enjoyed while moving rather than staying put. However, studies on the economic value of mountainous urban parks have been insufficient. As a result, this study investigates the economic value of Gyeyangsan, a mountainous urban park located in the city, by quantifying the value of natural resources provided to residents and analyzing the factors affecting these values. The results are summarized below. First, according to the economic value assessment of Gyeyangsan, the use value was 2,210 won per person or 4.42 billion won per year, and the preservation value was 6,182 won per household, or 129.37 billion won. Gyeyangsan's total assets value was assessed as 3.68 trillion won. Second, according to the estimates of the willingness to pay and the determinants for the use-value, the frequency of visits, age, and use satisfaction significantly impacted the intention to pay for the use-value. Third, according to the estimates of the willingness to pay and the determinants for the preservation value, the intention to revisit, volunteer participation, educational level, gender, and residence significantly influenced the intention to pay for the preservation value. According to the findings of this study, it will be possible to make crucial policy implications when setting a direction for future park management by presenting a practical policy plan for the maintenance of mountain parks in downtown areas and will broaden the scope of research.

The purpose of the current study is to investigate the underlying reasons of fashion brand repurchase intention formation based on means-end chain theory and to identify whether the price level moderates the relationships between attribute evaluation and re-purchase intention. Questionnaire data from 291 consumers who had purchase experience of casual wear during the last 6 month period through off-line retail shops were analyzed. The results showed that hedonic shopping value had a positive impact on aesthetic attribute and utilitarian shopping value also had a positive impact on physical attribute of fashion product. While aesthetic attribute had a positive influence on brand repurchase intention, physical attribute had no effect on brand repurchase intention. In addition, there was no moderating effect of price level between the links from shopping value to fashion product attribute evaluation. When casual wear companies have to devise price related strategies, they need to pay attention to diverse promotion factors except for product attributes to realize price-based differentiation.
Purpose: This study was conducted to identify relationships between depression, family support, and rehabilitation-motivation in patients with cerebrovascular accident. Method: The data were collected from 'S' hospital in Seoul from Feb. 1, 2004 to Apr. 30, 2004. The data were analyzed using a SPSS 10.0 program for descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression. Result: The results were as follows: The mean rehabilitation-motivation was 119.89, which was slightly high. The rehabilitation-motivation was influenced by religion, education level, occupation, economic status, treatment fee, duration of hospitalization, level of language ability and ADL. Rehabilitation-motivation has showed correlation with family support (r=.538, p=.000) and depression (r=-.417, p=.000). The variables related to rehabilitation-motivation were identified as family support, level of ADL, occupation, depression, and education level, using stepwise multiple regression. They were accounted for 57% of predictability of the rehabilitation-motivation, with the family support the highest at 29.3%. Conclusion: With increasing post stroke patients in Korea, we need to pay more attention to the rehabilitation of them. This study indicates that health professionals need to focus on the intervention especially in increasing family support and in decreasing depression of the patients with cerebrovascular accident.
