Image generation models have been applied in various fields to overcome data sparsity, time and cost issues. However, it has limitations in generating images from regular pattern images and detecting defects in such data. In this paper, we verified the feasibility of the image generation model to generate pattern images and applied it to data augmentation for defect detection of OLED panels. The data required to train an OLED defect detection model is difficult to obtain due to the high cost of OLED panels. Therefore, even if the data set is obtained, it is necessary to define and classify various defect types. This paper introduces an OLED panel defect data acquisition system that acquires a hypothetical data set and augments the data with an image generation model. In addition, the difficulty of generating pattern images in the diffusion model is identified and a possibility is proposed, and the limitations of data augmentation and defect detection data augmentation using the image generation model are improved.
Mining frequent patterns in transaction databases, time-series databases, and many other kinds of databases has been studied popularly in data mining research. Most of the previous studies adopt an Apriori-like candidate set generation-and-test approach. However, candidate set generation is still costly, especially when there exist prolific patterns and/or long patterns. And calendar based on temporal association rules proposes the discovery of association rules along with their temporal patterns in terms of calendar schemas, but this approach is also adopt an Apriori-like candidate set generation. In this paper, we propose an efficient temporal frequent pattern mining using TFP-tree (Temporal Frequent Pattern tree). This approach has three advantages: (1) this method separates many partitions by according to maximum size domain and only scans the transaction once for reducing the I/O cost. (2) This method maintains all of transactions using FP-trees. (3) We only have the FP-trees of I-star pattern and other star pattern nodes only link them step by step for efficient mining and the saving memory. Our performance study shows that the TFP-tree is efficient and scalable for mining, and is about an order of magnitude faster than the Apriori algorithm and also faster than calendar based on temporal frequent pattern mining methods.

The purpose of this study is to develop brassiere patterns which are both fitting and functional for women aged 19 to 24(the 1924 generation). We suggested a 'size chart for body measurements' for constructing basic brassiere patterns with six sizes of '70, 75', 'AA, A, B cups', which are used most frequently by the 1924 generation consumers. The scope of research was in reference to the statistical analysis results of the Size Korea(2004) body measurements and the results of the data from the preceding research. The 'drafting method for constructing basic brassiere patterns for the 1924 generation consumers' was completed by selecting a total of 18 subjects, 3 for each six sizes in the scope of research, and three wearing tests were carried out with the subjects. We compiled one brassiere pattern in six sizes obtained with the drafting method of constructing a basic brassiere pattern on another by block pattern in order to observe the phase of change in dimensions and shapes of paper pattern. The result was converted into the variations of a x-axis and a y-axis, and we suggested 'Size Grading Rule' and 'Cup Grading Rule' for the basic brassiere patterns. As the results of the wearing evaluation of the basic brassieres and measuring the variation in body dimensions by wearing brassieres, the dimensions and shapes of the basic brassieres suggested in this research proved to be fitting and to have a wearing effect that brings together and supports the breasts.

Defect generation during organic bottom anti-reflective coating (BARC) in the photo lithography process is closely related to humidity control in the BARC coating unit. Defects are related to the water component due to the humidity and act as a blocking material for the etching process, resulting in an extreme pattern bridging in the subsequent BARC etching process of the poly etch step. In this paper, the lower limit for the humidity that should be stringently controlled for to prevent defect generation during BARC coating is proposed. Various images of defects are inspected using various inspection tools utilizing optical and electron beams. The mechanism for defect generation only in the specific BARC coating step is analyzed and explained. The BARC defect-induced gate pattern bridging mechanism in the lithography process is also well explained in this paper.
One of the most important functions of a biped robot is to walk naturally like human. For the human being, toe is very important joint in order to walk naturally. Thus, for a biped robot, the existence of toe joint much affects gait pattern generation and contributes to natural walking, which is similar to the human gait or faster walking like running. Since a conventional biped robot has the feet which consist of soles without toes, it seems difficult to walk naturally. For realizing the gait to be similar to human one, toes are necessary to the biped robot. In this paper, the effect of the toe joint for gait pattern generation is studied. In order to find the effect of toe joint, a biped r...
Halftoning is very important image processing techniques in the digital printing industry which is a process of converting a continuous-tone image to bi-level tone image. In this paper we introduce a new digital halftoning method based on maze generation algorithm as a replacement algorithm of halftoning with space-filling curve. Previous error-diffusion methods based on space-filling curve suffer from regular pattern artifacts from uniform scan pattern. We use maze generation algorithm to remove this undesirable pattern of space-filling curve method.

Combinational automatic test pattern generators (CATPG) have already been commercialized because their algorithms are well known and practical, while sequential automatic test pattern generators(SATPG) have been regarded as impractical because they are computationally complex. A technique to use CATPG instead of SATPG for test generation of sequential circuits is proposed. Redesign of seauential circuits such as Level Sensitive Scan Design (LSSD) is inevitable to use CATPG. Various partial scan techniques has been proposed to avoid full scan such as LSSD. It ha sbeen reported that SATPG is required to use partial scan techniques. We propose a technique to use CATPG for a new partial scan technique, and propose a new CATPG algorithm for the partially scanned circuits. The partial scan technique can be another choice of design for testability because it is computationally advantageous.
Microstructure pattern generation on light guides in backlight unit (BLU) is an essential process for designing flat panel display, but efficient designing algorithm is still limited to achieve uniform luminescence while maintaining fully random distribution to avoid interference effects. In this study, a molecular dynamics model based pattern generation algorithm has been developed. The proposed algorithm allows a fast and efficient distribution of patterns at specified density within the user-defined computational cells, and its efficiency and performance has been demonstrated with sample cases.

This study aims to identify and compare the patterns of scientific questions generation among elementary science-gifted and general students when conducting observational tasks. The pattern in generating scientific questions, which is distinguished from other types of scientific questions, is the manner that students generate a variety of types of questions in an inquiry process. To analyze the patterns in generating scientific questions, the task of observing dry grapes in soda pop, candlelight, and dyed celery were selected as suitable tasks. The subjects were 26 science-gifted students participating in a gifted education program and 27 general students in an elementary school in the same city. They were all sixth graders. The results of this study are as follows: First, the patterns of scientific questions generation among gifted students and general students during observational tasks were classified into five patterns: [Pattern 1] single, [Pattern 2] sequential, [Pattern 3] repetitive, [Pattern 4] circulative, [Pattern 5] repetitive, and circulative. Second, gifted students and general students presented all of the five patterns, but the frequency of the patterns indicated differences between the two groups. The gifted students primarily presented [Pattern 3] and [Pattern 5]. On the other hand, the general students mainly presented [Pattern 1], [Pattern 2], and [Pattern 3]. These results suggest that the ways of generating scientific questions are very much as important as the types of questions. Teachers can establish teaching-learning strategies for generating scientific questions appropriate to learner's characteristics.

The purpose of the study is to propose a new surface design concepts within fractal pattern. In this study, I am offering the fractal concepts drawn from science, as a new anchoring point for surface design. Fractal Patterns are generated by transforming a seed slab into a number of constituent elements through fractal operations of rotation, scaling and linear transformations. These elements are bound together as a second generation seed shape which is reiterated according to the same transformations. This process continues for as many generations as desired. In conclusion, this study places a great emphasis on the natural pattern order to the surface generation, which I hope will contribute to generating a number of creative possibilities for interior design.
