  • A real-time path planning of mobile robots is a broad topic, covering a large spectrum of different technologies and applications. Briefly a path planning is designated moving technique from current pose to desired pose. It is remarkably easy to handle for human, not for robot. It is difficult that a robot recognizes surround to get a current pose and to avoid an obstacles. In this paper covers kinematics, path planning for efficient movements of a mobile robot. Kinematics of mobile robot which is suggested in this paper is exploited to create reliable and suitable motions. In addition, Gradient method is a algorithm which can guarantee for real-time path planning.

  • A major concern for Autonomous Military Robot in the rough terrain is the problem of moving robot from an initial configuration to goal configuration. In this paper, We generate a local path to looking for the best route to move an goal configuration while avoiding known obstacle from world model, not violating the mobility constraints of robot. Trough a Simulator for Unmanned Autonomous Vehicle, We can simulate a traversability of unmanned autonomous vehicle based on steering, acceleration, braking command obtained from local path planning.

  • In this paper, we deal with a novel path planning algorithm to find collision-free path for a moving robot to find an appropriate path from initial position to goal position. The robot should make progress by avoiding obstacles located at unknown position. Such problem is called the path planning. We propose so called the subgoal generation algorithm to find an effective collision-free path. The generation and selection of the subgoal are the key point of this algorithm. Several subgoals, if necessary, are generated by analyzing the map information. The subgoal is the candidate for the final path to be pass through. Then selection algorithm is executed to choose appropriate subgoal to construct a correct path. Deep and through explanations are given for the proposed algorithm. Simulation example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

  • We propose a new method for shortest path planning of mobile robots. The topological information of the graph is obtained by thinning method to generate the collision-free path of robot. And the travelling path is determined through hierarchical planning stages. The first stage generates an initial path by use of Dijkstra's algorithm. The second stage then generates the final path by use of dynamic programming (DP). The DP adjusts the intial path to reduce the total travelling distance of robot. Simulation results are presented to verify the performance of the proposed method.

  • In this paper, we integrate three degree of freedom(3DOF) point-mass model for aircraft and three-dimensional path generation algorithms using dubins curve and nonlinear path tracking law. Through this integration, we apply the path generation algorithm to the path planning, and verify tracking performance and feasibility of using the aircraft 3DOF point-mass model for air traffic management. The accuracy of modeling 6DOF aircraft is more accurate than that of 3DOF model, but the complexity of the calculation would be raised, in turn the rate of computation is more likely to be slow due to the increase of degree of freedom. These obstacles make the 6DOF model difficult to be applied to simulation requiring real-time path planning. Therefore, the 3DOF point-mass model is also sufficient for simulation, and real-time path planning is possible because complexity can be reduced, compared to those of the 6DOF. Dubins curve used for generating the optimal path has advantage of being directly available to apply path planning. However, we use the algorithm which extends 2D path to 3D path since dubins curve handles the two dimensional path problems. Control law for the path tracking uses the nonlinear path tracking laws. Then we present these concomitant simulation results.

  • Global path planning for autonomous driving of unmanned ground vehicle is essential. When setting global path planning, its accuracy and effectiveness is increased if useful information such as terrain type of driving route has been reflected on global path planning. As a method to reflect the terrain type, there is a method to perform global path planning by applying the weight to each terrain type. At this time, how to assign appropriate weights corresponding to the terrain type is more important than anything. In this paper, we proposed a method to determine the weight for terrain type that may affect the results of global path planning. Moreover, we presented effective operation method and design results(GUI) to check the possibility of the use of the proposed method.

  • This paper proposes a new technique that produces improved local information using a low-cost GPS/INS system combined with Extended Kalman Filter and Path Planning when a Quad-rotor flies. In the research, a low-cost GPS is combined with INS by Extended Kalman Filter to improve local information. However, this system has disadvantages in that estimation accuracy is getting worsens when the Quad-rotor flies through the air in a curve and precision of location information is influenced by performance of the used GPS. An algorithm based on Path Planning is adopted to deal with these weaknesses. When the Quad-rotor flies outdoors, a short moving path can be predicted because all short moving paths of quad-rotor can be assumed to be straight. Path planning is used to make the short moving path and determine the closest local information of data of the GPS/INS system to location determined by path planning. Through the foregoing process, improved local data is obtained when the quad-rotor flies, and the performance of the proposed system is verified from various outdoor experiments.

  • Urban development has brought about the increasing saturation of urban traffic demand, and traffic congestion has become the primary problem in transportation. Roads are in a state of waiting in line or even congestion, which seriously affects people's enthusiasm and efficiency of travel. This paper mainly studies the discrete domain path planning method based on the flow data. Taking the traffic flow data based on the highway network structure as the research object, this paper uses the deep learning theory technology to complete the path weight determination process, optimizes the path planning algorithm, realizes the vehicle path planning application for the expressway, and carries on the deployment operation in the highway company. The path topology is constructed to transform the actual road information into abstract space that the machine can understand. An appropriate data structure is used for storage, and a path topology based on the modeling background of expressway is constructed to realize the mutual mapping between the two. Experiments show that the proposed method can further reduce the interpolation error, and the interpolation error in the case of random missing is smaller than that in the other two missing modes. In order to improve the real-time performance of vehicle path planning, the association features are selected, the path weights are calculated comprehensively, and the traditional path planning algorithm structure is optimized. It is of great significance for the sustainable development of cities.
