  • In this paper, we propose new method which can provide user the path to the target place efficiently. It stores the state of roads to target place as the form of Q-table and finds the proper path using Q-table.0-table is updated by the information about real traffic which is reported by users. This method can provides the proper path, using less storage and less computation time than the conventional method which stores entire road traffic information and finds the path by graph search algorithm.

  • Genetic algorithm(GA) is useful to find optimal solution without any special mathematical modeling. This study presents to search optimal path of Autonomous Mobile Robot(AMR) by using GA without encoding and decoding procedure. Therefore, this paper shows that the proposed algorithm using GA can reduce the computation time to search the optimal path.

  • This paper proposes a new path planning method for obstacle avoidance of mobile robot. In order to achieve easy planning of the path, a simple representation of the empty space is achieved based on thinning algorithm. The proposed Planning technique facilitates the direct use of information obtained by camera. Comparing to the V-graph method, the task of determining the shortest path from the resulting skeleton of empty space is optimized in terms of number of computation steps. The usefulness of the proposed method is ascertained by simulation.

  • This paper compares the simulated annealing and the Hopfield neural network method for an optimal routing in a multistage interconnection network(MIN). The MIN provides a multiple number of paths for ATM cells to avoid cell conflict. Exhaustive search always finds the optimal path, but with heavy computation. Although greedy method sets up a path quickly, the path found need not be optimal. The simulated annealing can find an sub optimal path in time comparable with the greedy method.

  • A fundamental technology of UGV(Unmanned Ground Vehicle) to perform a given mission with success in various environment is a path planning method which generates a safe and optimal path to the goal. In this paper, we suggest a local path-planning method of UGV based on the binary map using world model data which is gathered from terrain perception sensors. In specially, we present three core algorithms such as shortest path computation algorithm, path optimization algorithm and path smoothing algorithm those are used in the each composition module of LPP component. A simulation is conducted with M&S(Modeling & Simulation) system in order to verify the performance of each core algorithm and the performance of LPP component with scenarios.

  • 본 논문에서는 순간적인 채널 상태에 따라 K, 즉 survivor path의 개수를 적응적으로 조절하는 MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) 검출 기법을 제안한다. 최적의 성능을 가지지만 높은 복잡도의 단점을 가지는 MLD(Maximum Likelihood Detection)의 단점을 개선하기 위해 MLD에 근접한 성능을 가지면서 복잡도는 확연히 감소시킨, 적응형 K-best SD (Sphere Decoding) 기법들이 제안되었지만, 채널 상태를 판별하기 위한 지표로, 채널의 페이딩 이득만을 이용할 뿐 순시적인 SNR(Signa1 to Noise Ratio) 값은 반영하지 못하는 단점을 가진다. 제안된 기법은 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위해 K를 조절하기 위한 채널 지표로 채널의 페이딩 성분뿐 아니라 SNR 성분까지 반영하는 path metric 값의 특성을 이용하여, 기존의 기법과 동일한 성능을 가지면서 낮은 복잡도를 가진다.

  • In this paper, two Fuzzy Logics for path planning of an autonomous mobile robot are proposed. If a target point is given, such problems regarding the velocity and object recognition are closely related with path to which the mobile robot navigates. Therefore, to ensure safety navigation of the mobile robot for two fuzzy logic parts, path planning considering the surrounding environment was performed in this paper. First, feature points for local and global path are determined by utilizing Cell Decomposition off-line computation. Second, the on-line robot using two Fuzzy Logics navigates around path when it tracks the feature points. We demonstrated optimized path planning only for local path using object recognition fuzzy logic corresponds to domestic situation. Furthermore, when navigating, the robot uses fuzzy logic for velocity and target angle. The proposed algorithms for path planning has been implemented and tested with pioneer-dxe mobile robot.

레이저 패턴 가공용 스캔 공구경로 생성 (Scan Tool-Path Generation for Laser Pattern Machining)

  • This paper proposes an approach to generate tool-path for laser pattern machining. Considering the mechanical structure of a laser pattern machine, it is quite similar to that of a 2D milling machine. Based on the observation, one may try to utilize the tool-path generation methodologies of 2D milling for the laser pattern machining. However, it is not possible to generate tool-path without considering the technological requirements of laser pattern machining which are different from those of 2D milling. In this paper, we identify the technological requirement of laser pattern machining, and propose a proper tool-path generation methodology to satisfy the technological requirements. For the efficient generation of tool-path, this paper proposes a tool-path element computation method, which is based on the concept of a monotone chain.

다차원 경로격자지도를 이용한 주차 경로계획 알고리즘 (Path Planning for Parking using Multi-dimensional Path Grid Map)

  • Recent studies on automatic parking have actively adopted the technology developed for mobile robots. Among them, the path planning scheme plans a route for a vehicle to reach a target parking position while satisfying the kinematic constraints of the vehicle. However, previous methods require a large amount of computation and/or cannot be easily applied to different environmental conditions. Therefore, there is a need for a path planning scheme that is fast, efficient, and versatile. In this study, we use a multi-dimensional path grid map to solve the above problem. This multi-dimensional path grid map contains a route which has taken a vehicle's kinematic constraints into account; it can be used with the $A^*$ algorithm to plan an efficient path. The proposed method was verified using Prescan which is a simulation program based on MATLAB. It is shown that the proposed scheme can successfully be applied to both parallel and vertical parking in an efficient manner.

위상정보를 갖는 구배법에 기반한 이동로봇의 고속 경로계획 (High-Speed Path Planning of a Mobile Robot Using Gradient Method with Topological Information)

  • Path planning is a key element in navigation of a mobile robot. Several algorithms such as a gradient method have been successfully implemented so for. Although the gradient method can provide the global optimal path, it computes the navigation function over the whole environment at all times, which result in high computational cost. This paper proposes a high-speed path planning scheme, called a gradient method with topological information, in which the search space for computation of a navigation function can be remarkably reduced by exploiting the characteristics of the topological information reflecting the topology of the navigation path. The computing time of the gradient method with topological information can therefore be significantly decreased without losing the global optimality. This reduced path update period allows the mobile robot to find a collision-free path even in the dynamic environment.
