  • This paper proposes a method to shut out all of the not certified network access packet by embodying the two-factor(MAC ADDRESS, ID/PASSWORD) authentication system. The Authenticating Gateway System takes over central server's policy and permit or hold up the packet by inherited policy. And checks the whether or not patched the OS version and getting influenced from computer virus. And takes the information about client's resources(H/W, S/W) without Agent in the client. That makes more stability of network operating circumstance and fast facing the attack from hackers. In the fixed mobile network circumstance, This method provides more simplicity and less expenses than IEEE802.1x authentication system(cisco nac).

  • Most services need to have authentication protocols to verify users' eligibility in the network environment. For this, a lot of user authentication protocols have been researched and developed. Two of them, SPMA and I-SPMA protocols, introduced the lack of mutual authentication and vulnerability to the reply attack of the prior protocols and suggested revised protocols. Nevertheless, these protocols did not mention about the critical problem caused when the server and the client lose synchronization on the secret information between them. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze the security characteristics of the existing protocols and prove the vulnerability to the synchronization of the protocols.

  • It is notorious that PIN(Personal Identification Number) is used widely for user verification and authentication in networked environment. But, when the user Identification and password are exposed by hacking, we can be damaged monetary damage as well as invasion of privacy. In this paper, we adopt face recognition-based authentication which have nothing to worry what the ID and password will be exposed. Also, we suggest the remote authentication and verification system by considering not only 2-Tier system but also 3-Tier system getting be distributed. In this research, we analyze the face feature data using the SVM(Support Vector Machine) and PCA(Principle Component Analysis), and implement artificial intelligence face recognition module in distributed environment which increase the authentication speed and heightens accuracy by utilizing artificial intelligence techniques.

  • WLAN user authentication is mostly based on user password resulting in vulnerability to the notorious 'offline dictionary attack'. As a way around this problem. EAP-TTLS and PEAP protocols are increasing finding their way into WLANs, which are a sort of combination of password protocols and the TLS public-key protocol. This leads to the use of the public-key certificate of the WLAM authentication server, and naturally the concern arises about its revocation status. It seems, however, that any proper soulution has not been provided to address this concern. We propose a very efficent and proper solution to check the certificate revocation status.

  • Mobile communication has become more pervasive and it is considered as one of main concerns oi conferencing, multi-user games and etc. in mobile environment. These applications need to secure communication in group. Most of the published protocols are based on model which consists of a stationary base station and a cluster of mobile devices. In this paper, we have focused on the extended model of which participants are several base stations and mobile devices in different cells. We present a new group key protocol among mobile devices in different cells and analyze its security And we also look at how password authentication can be used to our group key agreement protocol. The mobile device's computing load may be reduced by using password authentication.

  • EAP(Extensible Authentication Protocol)[3]은 다양한 인증 방법을 제공하기 위한 표준 인증 메커니즘이다.

  • System solutions for access control to the user's personal when you want to authenticate to the system is used. The valid user is really just a part of authorized users, the suitability of a valid user has been authenticated are not sure whether the problem is the fact. For example, one developer in the Unix operating system can be valid, but do not have permission to access the system should be limited for. In this paper, a single account for multiple users to use the system operational issues to improve the fine-grained delegation of authority, the session audit, the administrator account's policy-based management, with full rights the administrator account of distribution management and auditing the system overall is the study of access control measures.

  • This paper analyzes the intrinsic vulnerability problems of the authentication system for Internet commerce based on the ID and password strings gathered from the computer keyboard. Through the found vulnerability, it is easy to sniff user passwords as well as any other keyboard inputs even when each of the existing keyboard protection softwares is running. We propose several countermeasures against the possible attacks to the vulnerability at both points of the hardware and the software concerns. The more secure environment for Internet commerce is highly required by implementing the proposed countermeasures.

  • Information securiry is considered important due to the side effect generated from the expansion of information system and rapid increase of the use of internet. Nevertheless, we are getting unconscious of the importance of information security. The purpose of this research is to empirically analyze that the effects of security policies, security awareness and individual characteristics on password security effectiveness. Based on the analysis of research model using structural equation modeling technique, security policies were influencing individual characteristics and improving user's security awareness. Also individual characteristics and security awareness had positive impact on security effectiveness.

  • A Signcryption proposed by Yuliang Zheng in 1997 is a hybrid public key primitive that combines a digital signature and a encryption. It provides more efficient method than a straightforward composition of an signature scheme with a encryption scheme. In a mobile communication environment, the authenticated key agreement protocol should be designed to have lower computational complexity and memory requirements. The password-based authenticated key exchange protocol is to authenticate a client and a server using an easily memorable password. This paper proposes an secure Authenticated Key Exchange protocol using Signcryption scheme. In Addition we also show that it is secure and a more efficient that other exiting authenticated key exchange protocol.
