  • Spill of personal information using a stolen ID and password that recently occurred in large enterprises and portal web site such as Nate, Auction, National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, suggesting the importance of protecting personal information. By managing access to user accounts in real time, users will be able to block access before personal information is leaked. Therefore, In this paper, we propose a method to prevent spill of personal information that may occur when connected to others by using an authorized ID and password from portals. Specifically, we offer a mobile status control app that controls the logged status of user account in real time to view login status information to user by visualization and information about specific time and IP address. Also, we propose a method for detecting and blocking duplicated login that connect via IP address change.

  • It is currently undergoing the fourth industrial revolution, which is the convergence of ICT and manufacturing, connecting both industrial equipment and production processes to one network and communicating with each other. The fact that they are connected to one network has the advantage of management, but there is a risk of security. In particular, Wi-Fi can be easily accessed by outsiders through a software change of the MAC address or password exposures. In this paper, by applying the method of Beacon using a Bluetooth Low Energy Add in Bluetooth 4.0, we propose a system of black-box approach to secure connections to wireless Internet, users do not have to know the password. We also implemented the proposed system using the raspberry pi and verified the effectiveness of a real-time system by testing the communication.

  • While The passwords that combined with characters and numbers are easy to memorize and use, they have low complexity. Therefore they can easily be revealed by the shoulder-surfing attack when they are inputted through the input devices such like keyboard. To overcome these problems, many new authentication schemes, which change the user secret different form or let users input their secrets through the more complex manners, have been suggested, but it is still hard to find the balanced point between usability and security. S3PAS is one of well-known schemes which had both usability and security against shoulder-surfing attack. However, this scheme was not considered about intersection attack that the attacker tried to pass the authentication system after observing several authentication sessions. In this paper, we consider the security problem of S3PAS; what the attacker can do when he can observe the authentication sessions in several times. We confirm it through user study and experiments. And also we consider the alternative that overcomes the problem.

  • In this paper, an authentication scheme for network users using smart card is proposed. The network center generates key information and distributes the generated key to the network users safely. It also carries out the verification of the network users to prevent in-proper use caused by stolen of cards. In addition to that the net-work users can change their password in anytime they want. Therefor, we provide more secure and efficient mutual authentication methods.

  • Cyber attacks are increasing worldwide, and attacks on personal privacy such as CCTV and IP camera hacking are also increasing. If you search for IP camera hacking methods in spaces such as YouTube, SNS, and the dark web, you can easily get data and hacking programs are also on sale. If you use an IP camera that has vulnerabilities used by hacking programs, you easily get hacked even if you change your password regularly or use a complex password including special characters, uppercase and lowercase letters, and numbers. Although news and media have raised concerns about the security of IP cameras and suggested measures to prevent damage, hacking incidents continue to occur. In order to prevent such hacking damage, it is necessary to identify the cause of the hacking incident and take concrete measures. First, we analyzed weak account settings and web server vulnerabilities of IP cameras, which are the causes of IP camera hacking, and suggested solutions. In addition, as a specific countermeasure against hacking, it is proposed to add a function to receive a notification when an IP camera is connected and a function to save the connection history. If there is such a function, the fact of damage can be recognized immediately, and important data can be left in arresting criminals. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a method to increase the safety from hacking by using the connection notification function and logging function of the IP camera.

  • As the Internet evolves, security becomes more important. Especially, e-mail has become one of the most important services that companies and ordinary users use on the Internet. However, security vulnerabilities such as sniffing attacks, IDs, and password spoofs are causing many problems. This paper introduces an example of implementation of encrypted mailing program with which the secured mail is encrypted by symmetric key methode and the encrypted message can not be read without proper decryption. In order to use the current mailing systems, we keep the rules related to SMTP and POP3, and only the encrypted message is stored in the mail server system and the message can be decrypted only at the terminals of the senders and the receivers with the key which is shared in advanced by independent route between them. This implementation scheme can provide an efficiency that it does not request any change of current mailing system, which can be an additional security protection.

  • In this paper, we propose a unidirectional transmission of critical information obtained by keyboard hacking or kernel and keyboard driver hacking even though the computer is not connected to the external network. We show the hacking can be attempted in the proposed method to show the way preventing such attempts in advance. Firewalls and other various methods are used to prevent the hacking from the external network but the hacking is also attempted in various ways to detour the firewall. One of the most effective way preventing from the hacking attack is physically disconnect the internal intranet systems from the external internet and most of the government systems, military systems and big corporate systems are using this way as on one of the protection method. In this paper, we show the feasibility of transmission of security codes, etc via the short message to the external network on the assumption that a hacking program such as Trojan Horse is installed on the computer systems separated from the external network. Previous studies showed that the letters on the monitor can be hijacked by electromagnetic analysis on the computer to obtain the information even though the system is not connected ti the network. Other studies showed that the security code hint can obtained by analyzing the power consumption distribution of CPU. In this paper, the power consumption distribution of externally accessible power line is analyzed to obtain the information and the information can be transmitted to the external network. Software controlling the CPU and GPU usage is designed to control the power supply of computer. The sensors such as the Rogowski coils can be used on the external power line to collect the data of power consumption change rates. To transmit the user password by short message, due to the capacitive components and the obstacle from other power supply, A very slow protocol are used.

  • Currently, the leakage of internal information has emerged as one of the most significant security concerns in enterprise computing environments. Especially, damage due to internal information leakage by insiders is more serious than that by outsiders because insiders have considerable knowledge of the system's identification and password (ID&P/W), the security system, and the main location of sensitive data. Therefore, many security companies are developing internal data leakage prevention techniques such as data leakage protection (DLP), digital right management (DRM), and system access control, etc. However, these techniques cannot effectively block the leakage of internal information by insiders who have a legitimate access authorization. The security system does not easily detect cases which a legitimate insider changes, deletes, and leaks data stored on the server. Therefore, we focused on the insider as the detection target to address this security weakness. In other words, we switched the detection target from objects (internal information) to subjects (insiders). We concentrated on biometrics signals change when an insider conducts abnormal behavior. When insiders attempt to leak internal information, they appear to display abnormal emotional conditions due to tension, agitation, and anxiety, etc. These conditions can be detected by the changes of biometrics signals such as pulse, temperature, and skin conductivity, etc. We carried out experiments in two ways in order to verify the effectiveness of the emotional recognition technology based on biometrics signals. We analyzed the possibility of internal information leakage detection using an emotional recognition technology based on biometrics signals through experiments.

  • There is an authentication method for participants with an encrypted ID and password as a symmetric-key in multilateral video conferencing. It is hard to manage when the security-keys makes many while the transportation processing for the encryption and decryption get complicated when the video conferencing involves a number of participants and the third party as an attackers to gain unauthorized symmetric-key to access video conference which makes a problem less secrecy. This study suggests three ways to enhance security in video conference: first, we present PKI-based X.509 certificate for authenticating the participants of multilateral conferencing and we suggest to encode and decode the video conference media data using a secrecy key created by each of the conference participants; second, a more secured multilateral video conferencing can be expected in a group communication by using the participants secrecy key in creating and distributing group keys, where the group key will be renewed whenever there is change in the group member; and finally, we suggest to encode the RTP payload of the media data before transmission.
