In this paper we consider several nonparametric estimators for the mean residual life by using the partial moment approximation under the proportional hazard model. Also we compare the magnitude of mean square error of the proposed nonparametric estimators for mean residual life under the proportional hazard model.

This paper presents compact low frequency ultra-wide band (UWB) sensor design and study of the partial discharge diagnosis by sensing electromagnetic pulse emitted from the partial discharge source with the newly designed UWB sensor. In this study, we designed a new type of compact low frequency UWB sensor based on microstrip antenna technology to detect both the low frequency and high frequency band of the partial discharge signal. Experiments of offline PD testing on medium voltage (22.9kV) underground cable mention the comparative results with the traditional HFCT as a reference sensor in the laboratory. In the series of comparative tests, the calibration signal injection test provided with the conventional IEC 60270 method and high voltage injection testing are included.

The high peak-to-average power is one of the main drawbacks in OFDM systems. This letter proposes a partial shift mapping (PSM) method for peak power reduction in OFDM systems. By utilizing the properties of the discrete Fourier transform, the proposed method generates a set of candidate signals without additional complex multiplication and selects the one with minimum peak power for transmission. Analyses and simulations confirm that the PSM method achieves satisfactory peak power reduction performance and low complexity compared with other kindred methods, for example, selected mapping and partial transmit sequences.

본 논문에서는 다중 혼합 특징 정보를 저 차원 제스처 심볼로 구성하여 제스처를 인식하는 알고리즘에 대해 기술한다. 기존의 기하학적인 특징 기반 방법이나 외관기반 방법에서는 깔, 다리의 위치나 몸의 형상 정보만을 특징 값으로 이용하기 때문에 유사한 신체 동작이나 신체 부위의 움직임에 따라 애매한 결과를 나타내었지만 제안한 방법은 신체의 어느 부위가 움직이는지를 나타내는 부분특징정보(partial feature information)와 전체적인 신체의 형상을 표현하는 전역특징정보(global feature information)를 이용함으로써 동작의 구분뿐만 아니라 유사한 동작을 인식할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 그리고 비교적 적은 계산량과 높은 인식률 때문에 감시 시스템이나 지적 인터페이스 시스템 같은 여러 응용 분야에 적용될 수 있다.

현재 대부분의 정보검색시스템에서 사용되고 있는 키워드 매칭기법은 기하급수적으로 늘어나는 정보를 효과적으로 처리하기에는 부적합하다. 이러한 문제는 의미정보를 활용하여 해결할 수 있으며, 본 논문에서는 의미정보를 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 한 방법을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 기법은 의미정보를 개념그래프를 이용하여 표현하고, 이를 정보검색에 활용한다. 구현된 시스템은 완전 매칭과 부분 매칭이 가능한 시스템이다. 부분 매칭은 구문적 부분 매칭과 의미적 부분 매칭 두 가지가 있다. 의미적 유사도는 온톨로지 내의 서브클래스 관계로 계산된다. 이러한 기법은 정보검색 뿐만 아니라 동적 하이퍼링크의 구현 등 다양한 분야에서 적용될 수 있다.

In this papers, we proposed the feature extraction method due to partial discharge type of transformers. For wavelet transform, Daubechie's filter is used, we can obtain wavelet coefficients which is used to extract feature of statistical parameters (maximum value, average value, dispersion, skewness, kurtosis) about acoustic emission signal generated from each partial discharge type. The defects which could occur in a transformer were simulated by using needle-plane electrode, IEC electrode and Void electrode. Also, these coefficients are used to identify signal of partial discharge type electrode fault in transformer. As a result, from compare of acoustic emission amplitude and acoustic average value, we are obtained results of IEC electrode> Void electrode> Needle-Plane electrode. otherwise, In case of skewness and kurtosis, we are obtained results of Needle-Plane electrode electrode> Void electrode> IEC electrode.

We investigate the channel allocation problem in an ultra-dense device-to-device (D2D) enabled cellular network in underlaying mode where multiple D2D users are forced to share the same channel. Two kinds of low complexity solutions, which just require partial channel state information (CSI) exchange, are devised to resolve the combinatorial optimization problem with the quality of service (QoS) guaranteeing. We begin by sorting the cellular users equipment (CUEs) links in sequence in a matric of interference tolerance for ensuring the SINR requirement. Moreover, the interference quota of CUEs is regarded as one kind of communication resource. Multiple D2D candidates compete for the interference quota to establish spectrum sharing links. Then base station calculates the occupation of interference quota by D2D users with partial CSI such as the interference channel gain of D2D users and the channel gain of D2D themselves, and carries out the channel allocation by setting different access priorities distribution. In this paper, we proposed two novel fast matching algorithms utilize partial information rather than global CSI exchanging, which reduce the computation complexity. Numerical results reveal that, our proposed algorithms achieve outstanding performance than the contrast algorithms including Hungarian algorithm in terms of throughput, fairness and access rate. Specifically, the performance of our proposed channel allocation algorithm is more superior in ultra-dense D2D scenarios.

본 논문에서는 JPEG 영상을 인터넷상에서 효율적으로 전송하기 위한 Partial Access를 지원하는 JPEG 변환 처리 기술을 제안한다. 네트웍 상에서 영상을 전부 전송하지 않고 클라이언트의 브라우져의 디스플레이에 필요한 부분만을 실시간으로 전송한다면 전체 네트웍 효율을 높일 수 있다. 이를 위해서는 영상을 Partial Access 할 수 있어야 한다. 또한, 본 논문에서 제안한 Partial Access 기능이 추가된 JPEG 영상은 기존의 JPEG과 완전 호환되며, 클라이언트는 기존의 일반 웹 브라우져를 그대로 사용할 수 있다.

Many organizations attempt to plan information strategy reflecting their overall business and direction using the information engineering methodology. They also try to redesign the process for partial business area. The above two approaches can be combined because information technology Plays an important role as an enabler for business process reengineering. For theses organizations, a new information strategy planning procedure that considers reengineering of partial business is proposed in this study. The proposed procedure is designed to minimize the change of information strategy planning procedure of the information engineering methodology. The project of K company is used as the case study.

In this letter, closed-form approximations for outage probability and symbol error rate are presented for a selective decode-and-forward relay network with partial channel information. An independent but not identically distributed Rayleigh fading environment is considered. Numerical and simulated results demonstrate the validity of the analytical results.
