The Analysis of PD Signal using Neural Network (신경회로망을 이용한 부분방전 신호의 패턴분석)

  • Recently, GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear) has been recognizing of importance on development of diagnosis technique which is happened problem on confidence for a long time use. Therefore, the measurement and analysis of PD with prior phenomenon of insulation breakdown is used many method of diagnosis for GIS. In this paper, we simulate trouble condition in DS and analysis trouble signal to use electrical and mechanical methods, interpretation of detected signal has analysed with to use ø-q-n pattern and neural network. For this analysis, we have used the induction and AE(acoustic emission) sensors. For the simulation experiment, we make DS for 170 KV GIS and analyze the classification and characteristics of detected signals with the application of neural network algorithm.

A Study on Ultrasonic Location in Underwater Using the Two Optical Fiber Sensors (수중에서 2개의 광섬유센서를 이용한 초음파 음원의 위치 검출에 관한 연구)

  • The preliminary results on the application of optical fiber sensor(OFS) for locations of ultrasonic signals in underwater are presented and analyzed. The OFS utilizing the principle of Sagnac interferometry was designed and the hollowed cylindrical mandrel wound by single mode optical fiber was used as sensing component. The ultrasonic signal source was simulated by the PZT actuator operated with function generator. It has been shown that the OFS could detect the signals less affected by ultrasonic path comparing to conventional acousto-electric sensor and accurate location of ultrasonic signal could be carried out using two OFSs.

  • GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear) 내부에서 부분방전 신호를 검출 할 수 있는 UHF(Ultra High Frequency) 센서를 제작하고 그 특성을 조사하였다. UHF 센서는 GIS 내부에서 전기적, 기계적으로 안정된 형태로 제작되었으며, 영국의 NGC(National Grid Company)에서 제시한 규격을 충분히 만족함을 확인하였다. 부분방전 신호가 발생되는 모형 GIS 내에 UHF 센서를 장착하여 실제 부분방전 산호가 잘 측정됨을 확인하였다.

  • This paper was described about the calibration method and setup of calibration system. This method and system were based on ISO 12713 and 12714. This system consisted of a conical type reference sensor, test block, glass capillary source and measuring oscilloscope. The waves of reference sensor and tested sensor was shown and these wave was analyzed with ISO method.

  • In this paper, chamber(Circuit breaker compartment of C-GIS) made of stainless steel with 4 mm width is used. Artificial defect was made on enclosure or HV conductor of chamber and $SF_6$ gas was injected into it according to pressure. In this experiment, Acoustic emission sensors of different types was used to compare sensitivity to detect acoustic signal occurred by Partial discharge(PD) of according to types and resonance frequency in $SF_6$ gas atmosphere. Sensors used in tests was R6I, R15I and 2/4/6 Pre-Amplifier connected with R6IU without pre. amp. In case of R6IU, gain was adjusted with 40 dB like other sensors and operated by differential mode. Post amplifier(post. amp) and band pass filter(BPF) were developed Gain of post. amp. is 60 dB and BPF has band width of $50{\sim}300$ kHz. Also, envelope circuit developed reduces frequency of AE sensor. As a result, in $SF_6$ atmosphere, R6IU and R6I had resonance frequency of 60 Hz was better than R15I. Also, R6IU was better than R6I because of type property of pre.amp. had differential mode.

Detection with a SWNT Gas Sensor and Diffusion of SF6 Decomposition Products by Corona Discharges (탄소나노튜브 가스센서의 SF6 분해생성물 검출 및 확산현상에 관한 연구)

  • The detection methods are required to monitor and diagnose the abnormality on the insulation condition inside a gas-insulated switchgear (GIS). Due to a good sensitivity to the products decomposed by partial discharges (PDs) in $SF_6$ gas, the development of a SWNT gas sensor is actively in progress. However, a few numerical studies on the diffusion mechanism of the $SF_6$ decomposition products by PD have been reported. In this study, we modeled $SF_6$ decomposition process in a chamber by calculating temperature, pressure and concentration of the decomposition products by using a commercial CFD program in conjunction with experimental data. It was assumed that the mass production rate and the generation temperature of the decomposition products were $5.04{\times}10^{-10}$ [g/s] and over 773 K respectively. To calculate the concentration equation, the Schmidt number was specified to get the diffusion coefficient functioned by viscosity and density of $SF_6$ gas instead rather than setting it directly. The results showed that the drive potential is governed mainly by the gradient of the decomposition concentration. A lower concentration of the decomposition products was observed as the sensors were placed more away from the discharge region. Also, the concentration increased by increasing the discharge time. By installing multiple sensors the location of PD is expected to be identified by monitoring the response time of the sensors, and the information should be very useful for the diagnosis and maintenance of GIS.
