부분방전 전계 측정용 $LiNbO_3$ 프루브 센서 제작 (A development of $LiNbO_3$ probe sensor for detecting partial discharge)

  • In this work, a possible new PD detection technique, based on the electro-optic effect, has been proposed. A proto-type probe sensor for detection partial discharge is made by $LiNbO_3$ Pockels cell, diachroic sheet polarizer and right-angle prism. The Mach-Zehnder interferometer system is proposed by using this sensor and this system is applied to detecting high electric field. we show the characteristic of the proto-type probe sensor and the design of a proposed probe type sensor.

  • Gas Insulated Switchgear(GIS) acts as an indispensible part in power transmission network. In order that GIS may have its high reliability, it is necessary to pay careful attention to its whole process e.g., designing, manufacturing, installation, and operation. The main hazard in GIS comes from free conducting particles, which can move and cause breakdown under the influence of the electric field. Although the concentration on protecting the GIS inner part against the free conducting particles is made, it is, actually, almost impossible to avoid the hazard from the particles throughly. In this paper, using the EHV test chamber, partial discharge quantity in GIS was measured when free conducting particles initiate to discharge for providing fundamental data for the purpose of developing predictive diagnosis technology on site GIS.

  • The dependency of processing pressure on the electrical performances in amorphous silicon-zinc-tin-oxide thin film transistors (SZTO-TFT) has been investigated. The SZTO channel layers were deposited by using radio frequency (RF) magnetron sputtering method with different partial pressure. The field effect mobility (${\mu}_{FE}$) increased and threshold voltage ($V_{th}$) shifted to negative direction with increasing pressure during deposition processing. As a result, oxygen vacancies generated in SZTO channel layer with increasing partial pressure resulted in negative shift in $V_{th}$ and increase in on-current.

  • In the Closing time in order to operate synchronous generators parallely, it is generated the asynchronous phenomena. These asynchronous phenomena give rise of the eddy current on the rotor. These eddy current are solved analytically for the Laplace' Equ. ${\nabla}^2{\widetilde{H}}=0$ in free space and for the Bullard's Equ. ${\nabla}^2{\widetilde{H}}$+${\sigma}_r{\mu}_r{\nabla}$${\times}$${\widetilde{\nu}}_r$${\times}$${\widetilde{H}}^{III}$=${\sigma}_r{\mu}_r{\frac{{\partial}H}{{\partial}t}}$ for the rotor by using each double Fourier series component of the 3D H-field

  • It has little possibility that a cable causes any problem in electric power facilities. But when a trouble occurs in cable or cable joint, the damage is very severe. The main causes of the cable defections are bad cable making procedure, poor cable operation and deterioration according to the years. There are some cases to have potential problems due to many cable connection points, because of short length of cable, especially in 154㎸ system. In this study, novel method to measure partial discharge in cable joints is proposed and the effectiveness and the reliability of the proposed method is shown through experiment results of field.

  • The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the effects of pre-formed space charges by DC stress on partial discharge(PD) characteristics in XLPE. We have suggested a modified pulsed electro-acoustic(PEA) method and successfully measured both space charge distribution and current simultaneously. It has been demonstrated that the PD patterns are strongly influenced by the pre-formed space charge distributions, which are hardly disappeared up to AC 8㎸ in electrode configuration including air gap between XLPE layer and electrode. From the results, it could be said that the pre-formed space charges by DC stress can play harmful and dangerous roles in insulating system under AC operating voltages because of the field distortion and localization due to the pre-formed space charge.

  • In this paper, we developed HPF (high pass filter) consisted of lumped LC components to decrease the noises that are detected in PD (partial discharge) measuring test, and adapted it to field test. We tested under laboratory circumstances like the fields, and measured the phase change properties of detected signal in UHF sensor with Lemke probe and oscilloscope (TDS-3054, Tektronix).

  • 低密度 Polyethylene film을 冷延伸된 方向에 對해서 直勇方向으로 延伸하면, 延伸比 1.2~1.8 付近에서 部分放電에 의한 劣化가 顯著히 增加하고, Void發生에 의한 部分放電 開始電壓이 低下한다. 延伸 film에 對해 强制振動法에 의해 求한 彈性率 및 力學的 tan$\delta$는 上記의 延伸比代近에서 名名 極小 및 極大를 나내고 上記의 傳奇的特性과 密接한 關係가 있다. 더욱이 微結晶은 延伸에 의해 작은 結晶으로 分解되는 것을 X線回折로 認定할 수 있고, 또한 非晶領城의 分子鎖는 高延伸에서 再配向하는 것을 赤外吸收에 의해 認定할 수 있다.

  • The ionic conductivity of cubic solid solutions in the system Y$_2$O$_3$-ZrO$_2$ prepared by SHS was examined. Conductivity-temperature data obtained at 1000$^{\circ}C$ in atmosphere of low oxygen partial pressure (10$\^$-40/ atm) for Y$_2$O$_3$-ZrO$_2$ cubic solid solutions indicated that these materials could be reduced, the degree of reduction being related to the measuring electric field. At low impressed fields no reduction was observed. Thus, these conductivity data give a transference number for the oxygen ion in Y$_2$O$_3$-ZrO$_2$ cubic solid solutions greater than 0.99.

  • In this study, we developed intelligent spacer built in the internal type UHF PD sensors. 3-Dimensional electro-magnetic simulations were performed to analyze electric-field distribution of the single-phase GIS and three-phase GIS. After considering the spacer's specification, Sensor structures were designed and analyzed using the 3-D EM Simulator. As a result of the simulation the internal type UHF PD sensors were built in. Performance of the sensor built into real scale GIS spacer was measured in terms of return loss and detected Max voltage. And we identified a character of the intelligent spacer by using 5pC partial discharge ceil.
