The purpose of this study is to investigate relations among job-related attributes of dental technicians. Findings of the study can be summarized as follows. Differences in four job-related attributes among dental technicians in accordance with their titles were investigated to find that dental lab managers were higher in job satisfaction than chief and assistant technicians of the lab. Dental lab managers were given the best work climate, followed by chief technicians of hospital, those of dental lab and assistant technicians. Job competence was highest in part of the managers, followed by chief assistants of hospital, those of dental lab and assistant technicians. But work facilities that were being used by dental technicians were not significantly different in quality in accordance with their titles. Assistant technicians were lower in job satisfaction, given work climate and job competence than managers and chief technicians of both hospital and dental lab. Under same work conditions, female dental technicians were higher in job satisfaction than male ones. Dental technicians' job satisfaction were most affected by work climate, followed by job competence and the quality of work facilities in order. In other words, job satisfaction was higher when work climate was better, job competence was higher or when work facilities were better. Job satisfaction was generally lower in part of male dental technicians than female ones. Considering the fact that job satisfaction is most influenced by work climate, more careful attention should be paid to assistant technicians who while on duty, usually have not so good relationship with seniors or colleagues. Those technicians also usually have few or no opportunity of obtaining latest knowledge or skills, so they should be allowed time for seminars or lectures in which such knowledge or skills are educated. It is also important to raise assistant technicians' pride about their job by empowering them by authorization or giving more remuneration or other rewards for their improved job competence.

In 1994, the house construction work was separated from design part to prevent incomplete work and to improve quality. During that time, the supervision in the house construction work has made a great development in the quantity phase, but there is no study case about the satisfaction degree of clients on the supervision job. This study presents the improvement schemes of the supervision job rationality, the revision of supervision system and supervisor's improved construction management ability. also, This paper aims at advancing our construction field and enhancing competitive power by seeking for solutions to problems and improving current system to a reasonable supervision in the house construction work comparing and analyzing by questionnaire in Taegu, Kyungbuk area. The further study will be needed about the whole Korean construction market.
This article is an introduction to : ICCROM PAPERCONSERVATION COURSE 1993" which I participated in, from July 28th 1993 to September 24th. The program was divided into two major sections. The first part deal with scienctific principles of paper conservation, covering structure and composition of paper and related materials, causes of deterioration and guidelines for preservation. It include chemistry for paper conservators and the history and technology of papermaking. Second part of the course emphasize practical conservation ; participants actually work together with specialists. Two weeks are dedicated to the Western approach to paper conservation. A selection of recent conservation treatments are discussed methodologically, demonstrated and performed. The same amount of time are devorted to a seminar on the conservation of fareastern paper objects. The aim is to exporse participants to different approrches and methodologies in paper consevation, to compare and discuss various tendencies and to learn lessons from other experiences that are applicable to one's own work.

As gravel roadbed is gradually turn down by repetitive loading of train, lasting work for maintenance and management of track is necessary to reduce the settlement of roadbed and the deterioration of track. Despite of above weak point, gravel roadbed has become a basic structure of roadbed at the present time. But request for new structure of roadbed is recently presented to settle an increased transportation capacity of track, and to solve a shortage of the labor to handle maintenance work of track. Therefore, we begin to research about maintenance-free roadbed like paved track from two years ago. In this study, a series of tests were performed to clarify the characteristics of strength and permeability of concrete specimen, which is the upper part of paved track injected by cement mortar, by type of geotextile and finally to give a basic data for application of geotextile to the lower part of paved track.

The aims of this article were to examine the basic law, contents and concept of educational program for healthy family and provide the jobs and competency of healthy family supporter for educational work. The research objects were 53 healthy family supporters for educational work inclusive of full-time and part-time position. They was analyzed through the survey. The process of research consisted of two parts. One was to suggest their jobs and requirements, the other were to offer their core competency and area for improvement. First, the jobs of healthy family supporters for educational work were the planning and valuation of program. The requirements for the performance of their duties are having a bachelor's degree or a master's degree, career for 1-3years, and a certificate of qualification of healthy family supporters, social worker and family counselor. Second, their competencies were the understanding of education for family life, management for healthy family support center, planning and valuation of educational program, a theory of counsel, community networking, ability of documentation, sociality, communication skill, the ability of solving the problem, the adaptation of various environments, receptiveness, positiveness and so on.
This study uses the 1999-2009 Korean Time Use Survey to explore how mothers' employment affects parental time spent in activities that may relate to their children's weight. Specifically, it estimates two-part regression models to assess the effects of maternal employment upon the amount of time mothers spend in activities potentially related to their preschool children's eating and physical activity. The findings suggest that working mothers and those mothers who work longer hours allocate significantly less time in food preparation, eating with the child, and supervising the child's physical activity than mothers who are not employed and those who work fewer hours. The paper also finds that spouses of working mothers do not allocate more time to these activities to offset the reduction in mothers' time. Also, using local unemployment rates as instrumental variables, maternal employment is found to allow mothers to spend significantly more time on food preparation and family meals, although its effect on mothers' total childcare time is negative. Several aspects of Korean society may have made the relationship between maternal employment and childhood weight issues different from what was found in other countries.

This paper improves the autonomy for supplier's schedule and the flexibility of the final assembly line. The final assembly line is a single work station and each product taking different assembly time is considered. In the assembly schedule, the heuristic method based on the goal chasing method is used. Consequently, suppliers can independently determine their output rates and thus, change their workload pattern according to their needs and priorities. Moreover, this flexibility can help to avoid expensive final-assembly-line stoppages in case of sudden part supply disruptions. The sequencing method can be easily implemented into an existing just-in-time system. In addition, the mathematical model was formulated and the algorithm was explained through the flow chart. The numerical example was given and the efficiency of this method is shown through the analysis of computational results of that example.
Natural language processing (NLP) is an emerging research area in which we study how machines can be used to perceive and alter the text written in natural languages. We can perform different tasks on natural languages by analyzing them through various annotational tasks like parsing, chunking, part-of-speech tagging and lexical analysis etc. These annotational tasks depend on morphological structure of a particular natural language. The focus of this work is part-of-speech tagging (POS tagging) on Hindi language. Part-of-speech tagging also known as grammatical tagging is a process of assigning different grammatical categories to each word of a given text. These grammatical categories can be noun, verb, time, date, number etc. Hindi is the most widely used and official language of India. It is also among the top five most spoken languages of the world. For English and other languages, a diverse range of POS taggers are available, but these POS taggers can not be applied on the Hindi language as Hindi is one of the most morphologically rich language. Furthermore there is a significant difference between the morphological structures of these languages. Thus in this work, a POS tagger system is presented for the Hindi language. For Hindi POS tagging a hybrid approach is presented in this paper which combines "Probability-based and Rule-based" approaches. For known word tagging a Unigram model of probability class is used, whereas for tagging unknown words various lexical and contextual features are used. Various finite state machine automata are constructed for demonstrating different rules and then regular expressions are used to implement these rules. A tagset is also prepared for this task, which contains 29 standard part-of-speech tags. The tagset also includes two unique tags, i.e., date tag and time tag. These date and time tags support all possible formats. Regular expressions are used to implement all pattern based tags like time, date, number and special symbols. The aim of the presented approach is to increase the correctness of an automatic Hindi POS tagging while bounding the requirement of a large human-made corpus. This hybrid approach uses a probability-based model to increase automatic tagging and a rule-based model to bound the requirement of an already trained corpus. This approach is based on very small labeled training set (around 9,000 words) and yields 96.54% of best precision and 95.08% of average precision. The approach also yields best accuracy of 91.39% and an average accuracy of 88.15%.

In all inelastic deformations time rate effects are always present to some degree. Whether or not their exclusion has a significant influence on the prediction of the material behaviour depends upon several factors. In the study of structural components under static loading conditions at normal temperature it is accepted that time rate effects are generally not important. However metals, especially under high temperatures, exhibit simultaneously the phenomena of creep and viscoplasticity. In this study, elastoplastic and elasto-viscoplastic models include nonlinear geometrical effects were developed and several numerical examples are also included to verify the computer programming work developed here in this work. Comparisons of the calculated results, for the elasto-viscoplastic analysis of an internally pressurised thick cylinder under plane strain condition, have shown that the model yields excellent results. The results obtained from the numerical examples for an elasto-viscoplastic analysis of the Nuclear Reinforced Concrete Containment Structure(NRCCS) subjected to an incrementally applied internal pressure were summarized as follows : 1. The steady state hoop stress distribution along the shell layer of dome and dome wall junction part of NRCCS were linearly behave and the stress in interior surfaces was larger than that in exterior. 2.However in the upper part of the wall of NRCCS the steady state hoop stress in creased linearly from its inner to outer surfaces, being the exact reverse to the previous case of dome/dome-wall junction part. 3.At the lower part of wall of NRCCS, the linear change of steady state hoop stress along its wall layer began to disturb above a certain level of load increase.
The purpose of this study is to develop and secure the human resources of SMEs by examining the causal relationship between job characteart-time job experience and career development of youth. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, 10,119 youths in the middle and high schools in Korea who participated in the panel data collection by the Korea Youth Policy Institute were surveyed from May 20 to July 12 in 2013, Panel data were used. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was found that the part-time job experience had a statistically significant effect on the planning, which is a sub-area of career development. Second, the part-time job experience has a statistically significant effect on attitude, a sub-domain of career development. Third, it was found that the part-time job experience had a statistically significant effect on the self knowledge, which is a sub-domain of career development. Fourth, it was shown that the part-time job experience had a statistically significant effect on career behavior, one of the sub-areas of career development. Fifth, it was found that the part-time experience characteristics had a statistically significant effect on the independence of sub-domains of career development. Therefore, since the part-time work of youth has a positive effect on career development, it is expected that the human resources of the future of SMEs will be secured if they create a place for career experience and job experience in connection with middle, high school and SMEs.
