A study on standardization & completion of transfer consultation record for patients transferred to emergency medical center (응급의료센터로 전원된 환자의 진료의뢰서 표준화 및 충실도에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this research which was conducted by surveying the transfer consultation records from 360 medical institutions such as general hospitals, hospitals, clinics to the Emergency Medical Center at E University Hospital for six months(Jan. 1, 2000 - Jun. 30, 2000) are to standardize & complete transfer consultation record of hospitals at the 1st & 2nd referral level and to give patients transferred emergency medical center medical information services on a better quality. The conclusions and suggestions from this study were summarized as follows; (1) Examing the distribution of the referral medical consultation(transfer) sheet type, surgery part local clinic sheet types were 34.4%, medical part local clinic sheet types were 26.7%, undifferentiated local clinic sheet types were 23.9% and hospital level sheet types were 15.0%. (2) The items of the transfer consultation records had been standardized more than 75% in the order of patient's name, date, doctor's name, diagnosis, patient's status, impressions. (3) That the degree of recording completion on these items is in the order of patient's name, date, diagnosis, impressions was revealed. (4) Because the standardization and the degree of recording completion are very low in the patient's gender, age, address, electronic recording system was needed for more perfect input of initial patient informations. (5) This standardizing & complete recording on examination and medication will prevent re-examination and abuse of medication for patients transferred emergency medical center. (6) EMT Transfer System should be fixed in all medical institute for the standardizing & complete recording on care period and departure time will give many emergency patients the proper treatments at the proper time. (7) It was revealed that developing new standardized transfer consultation record & using electronic recording system are needed. (8) The complete recording & Fast Track System were needed for higher rate of bed operation at emergency medical center and more hospital profit.

  • This paper proposes a novel face recognition algorithm to recognize human face robustly under various conditions, such as changes of pose, illumination, and expression, etc. at indoor environments. A conventional automatic face recognition system consists of the detection and the recognition part. Generally, the detection part is dominant over the other part in the estimating whole recognition rate. So, in this paper, we suggest the view-specific eigenface method as preprocessor to estimate various poses of the face in the input image. Then, we apply the Enhanced FLD Models (EFM) to the result of it, twice. Because, the EFM recognizes human face, and reduces the error of standardization effectively.   • In a previous paper, we have discussed the intelligent Windows 95-based data management program(IDPIN) which was developed for effective and efficient management of large amounts of pre-/in-service inspection(PSI/ISI) data of Kori nuclear power plants. The IDPIN program enables the prompt extraction of previously conducted PSI/ISI conditions and results so that the time-consuming data management, painstaking data processing and analysis of the past are avoided. In this study, the intelligent Windows based data management program(WS-IDPIN) has been developed as an effective data management of PSI/ISI data for the Wolsong nuclear power plants. The WS-IDPIN program includes the modules of comprehensive management and analysis of PSI/ISI results, statistical reliability assessment program of PSI/ISI results(depth and length sizing performance etc), standardization of UT report form and computerization of UT results. In addition, the program can be further developed as a unique PSI/ISI data management expert system which can be part of the PSI/ISI total support system for Korean nuclear power plants.

  • The International Organization for Standardization(ISO) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies. Through ISO Technical Committees(TC), various International Standards are being carried out. Each member body interested in a subject for which a TC has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. ISO collaborates closely with the International Electro-technical Commission(IEC) on all matters of electro-technical standardization. ISO established the ISO 9000 Family standard in 1987, and International Standard ISO 9000-3 was worked by ISO/TC 176, Quality management and quality assurance, Subcommittee 2(SC 2), Quality systems, in accordance with the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 3: 1997 Rules for the structure and drafting of International Standards, Many organizations have applied the ISO 9000-3 for their quality system standard in the software sector. That means that ISO 9000-3: 1991 and ISO 9000-3: 1997 have been used successfully by the software industry as the internationally accepted interpretation of ISO 9001 for the development and maintenance of computer software. Additionally ISO 9000-3: 1997 involved how the software life cycle processes defined in ISO/IEC 12207: 1995, Information Technology - Software Life Cycle Processes related to the requirements of ISO 9001:1994. After having performed full reviews of the WD3, CD1, CD2 and DIS drafts of the future ISO 9001:2000, this document will partly replace the part of ISO 9000-3: 1997 for measurement analysis and improvement of quality management system in computer software industry, as an interpretation for organizations and certification bodies, which will be withdrawn when ISO 9001:1994 is replaced by ISO 9001:2000,.

Ever since its inception though, the urban transit has searched for ways to improve reliability, availability, maintainability and safety of the railway subsystem. Provision of a reliable maintenance system include RAMS of the vehicles plays a very important role in achieving a safe system.
