아리 폴만 감독의 <더 콩그레스 The Congress>는 실사영화와 애니메이션의 하이브리드 영상으로 제작되었으며 포스트모더니즘 예술의 핵심에 있는 패러디를 통해서 의미를 해체하고 새로운 의미를 구축하며 특유의 세계관과 독창적인 미학을 창출해 내었다. 많은 예술가는 고대부터 패러디를 통해서 대중과의 소통을 시도했다. 패러디는 대상을 풍자하고 조롱하면서 관계와 소통의 맥락을 만들어 나가며 발전해 왔고, 오늘날 모든 예술 분야에서 대중적인 표현 방법으로 자리 잡았다. 디지털 미디어의 발달과 예술가들의 실험적인 시도들이 이어지면서 현대의 패러디는 그 개념 또한 실용적으로 확장되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 그 확장된 패러디의 현대적 개념이 내포하는 의미들과 유사개념들을 이론적으로 고찰하고 포스트모더니즘 예술에서 주요 창조 전략으로 사용되면서 나타난 포스트모던 패러디의 네 가지 특징을 1) 상호텍스트성, 2) 장르의 해체와 융합, 3) 아이러니의 강화, 4) 패스티쉬로 도출해 내었다. 첫째, 배우 로빈 라이트가 실명으로 등장하며 자기 반영적인 상호텍스트성을 보여주고 있다. 복제의 세계, 환각의 세계를 창조해 내기 위해 수많은 유명인, 상징, 이미지 등을 차용하고 패러디하면서 상호텍스트적 세계를 창조해 내고 디지털 시대의 폐해를 비판한다. 둘째, 장르의식의 붕괴만이 아니라 모든 형식을 해체하고 융합하면서 독특한 새로운 미학을 창조하고 시간적 동시성과 공간적 상호성을 갖게 했다. 셋째, 패러디를 통하여 아이러니를 극적으로 강화해 내며 주제를 비판적으로 강조해 낸다. 넷째, 허구 세계를 만들어 내기 위해 사용한 각각의 많은 차용은 비판성이 없는 공허한 패러디인 패스티쉬이며 이것은 포스트모더니즘 예술에서 패러디의 심화된 현상이라고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구는 포스트모던 패러디의 특징들이 이 작품에 어떻게 나타나는지 분석함으로써 실용적으로 발전되고 있는 현대적 패러디와 포스트모더니즘의 연관성에 대해 논의한다. 나아가 <더 콩그레스 The Congress> 분석을 통하여 패러디를 사용하여 실험적인 예술을 창조해내는 포스트모더니스트들의 세계관과 창작방법을 논의한다.

Bootleg fashion emerged from the fashion industry after 2010, and has been used across a range of different genres. However, it has yet to be theoretically established; therefore, this study will explain bootleg fashion as a new genre, which will help in the planning and designing of products within domestic fashion brands. The purpose of this study was to examine the characteristics and internal meaning of bootleg fashion as a recently emerged fashion phenomenon that borrows from other brands without permission. The research methodology included a theoretical literature review of fashion sites and related materials and empirical research using case analysis. Results of the analysis of both characteristics and internal meaning of bootleg fashion suggest the following characteristics: "unauthorized use of symbolic elements," "disorganization of boundaries between fashion," "multiplicity through globalization," and "newness through deconstruction and recombination." Internal meanings derived from the analysis were "parody through symbol," which is seen as "a parody and homage resulting from the unauthorized use of a brand," while "decomposition through disorganization" is seen as a break-up of the boundaries between different fashions from a mainstream-oriented perspective. A juxtaposition of elements was demonstrated by "playfulness through transformation," which showed that such fashion cannot coexist with positional transposition. Finally, "spread as a cultural phenomenon" was derived through the diffusion through digital media with DIY culture. As such, bootleg fashion has been reborn as an innovative fashion genre, breaking the taboo of the illegitimate from the past and demonstrating new endeavors.

Contemporary fashion design has been made a new attempt to extend restricted expressions through fusion with other genres in art. The recognition of fashion has recently been changed not only product but as a piece of work in specific value, concept and meaning created by fashion designer. It is observed that the contemporary fashion design has a notion to persue formative intentions and manners of Conceptual Art in Post-modern era. This study is to define this region of fashion design represented in cultural phenomena as 'Conceptual Fashion', also analyze the formative feature of this from a point of view in Conceptual art. The results which are analyzed according to outward techniques and forms, meanings and elements immanent in aesthetic contemplation of conceptual fashion lead to four distinctive things in such as anti-form, intervention and appropriation, metaphor and detour, process and series. The intrinsic values in conceptual fashion through aesthetic contemplation are indicated the four significant values in the following: the pluralistic interpretation, the parody and amusement, the pursuit of essence and truth and the participation and interaction. Conceptual fashion design is appeared complex not doing separate through classified formative features previously. And It has been evolved as a indeterminate concept which is able to variable elucidation by a non-player, as a instrument for communication on fashion culture which is aggrandized. The purpose of this study is to present of theoretical foundation about Conceptual fashion design and also to make proper understanding about interrelationship between contemporary fashion and art.
