In the high performance AC motor drive system, exact torque and speed control is required For exact torque and speed control, good current controller is prerequisite. In this paper, predictive current control scheme for PMSM is presented and implemented using DSP. Full digital speed controller for PMSM is constructed its usefulness is verified.

Precision thin film resistors using evanohm R alloy were fabricated by do magnetron sputtering method. The physical and electrical properties of the resistors were studied after treatment of thermal annealing. The crystallization of the film was increased as the annealing temperature increase. Diffusion and oxidation of Cr and Al elements were occurred into the film surface. The minimum TCR values of 10.46 ppm/$^{\circ}C$ and 10.65 ppm/$^{\circ}C$ were measured at the annealing temperatures of $200^{\circ}C$ and $300^{\circ}C$, respectively. We are conducting additional studies to improve characteristics of our resistors for practical device application.

In this paper, we propose a novel D-ATR (Differential-Average Transmitted Reference) scheme for UWB (Ultra Wide Band) based on impulse radio. The proposed scheme utilizing differential coding at transceiver, does not cause half loss of data rate unlike the conventional TR (Transmitted Reference) and ATR (Average TR) systems which transmit additional reference signals. In addition, the proposed scheme may provide improved BER (Bit Error Rate) performance by averaging the received reference signals like the conventional ATR. The proposed D-ATR receiver produces the averaged reference template by considering both the detected data bit and the differential coding rule.

An enlarged peroneal tubercle causes lateral ankle and foot pain, and which is a cause for stenosing peroneal tenosynovitis. In this report, we present a case of stenosing tenosynovitis of the peroneus longus tendon associated with hypertrophy of the peroneal tubercle without involvement of the peroneus brevis tendon. Surgical excision of the enlarged peroneal tubercle along with exploration of the peroneal tendons was successful.

The trace elements in animal feed were analyzed by Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS, VG-PlasmaQuad Co.) to find possible sources of heavy metals accumulation in rat organ. The study about spectral interference was performed by analysis of a background spectrum of ICP-MS. Recovery test using standard of Cd and Se (100 ppb) was found to be better than 90%. Twenty elements (Ca, Fe, Mg, Ti, Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ba, Al, Mn, Pb, B, Ce, Bi, U, V, Cd, and W)are determined.

The effect of ginseng extracts and ginseng saponins on alcoholic fermentation and production of higher alcohols in malt wort by Sacch. uvarnm were studied The results otained were as follows. 1. Alcoholic fermentation of the wort contained 1-5% of ginseng extracts was inhibited slightly, but the wort contained 0.1-0.5% of ginseng extracts were same as the control. 2. 0.02-0.2% of saponin stimulated alcoholic fermentation. 3. Higher alcohol contents were decreased when the wort contained 0.1-0.5% of ginseng extracts. 4. Higher alcohol content were increased when the wort contained 0.02-0.2% of ginseng saponin. Iso-amylalcohol content of fermented wort which contained ginseng saponins were higher 18 -35mg/1 than those of control.

The effect of ginseng extract and ginseng saponins on alcoholic fermentation was studied 1. Alcoholic fermentation on gllicose medium at 30$^{\circ}C$. by Saccharomyces coveanus and Saccharomyces uvavum was stimulated when the media contained 5% and 10 % of ginseng extract, respectively. But that of Saccharomyces cerevisiae was inhibites by the addition of 10% of ginseng extract. 2. Saponin did not stimulate the alcoholic fermentation by Saccharomyces uvarum. 3. The yeast cell counts was increased remarkably by addition of ginseng extract while that of ginseng saponins was increased slightly. Dried cell weight of the broth which Contained 5% of ginseng extract was 3 times than that of control.

중소기업의 경우 ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) 시스템 구축은 비용부담 때문에 개별적인 구축이 용이하지 않다. 따라서, 본 연구는 중소기업들의 비용부담을 해소하기 위한 ASP (Application Service Provider) 기반의 ERP 시스템을 제시한다. 시스템 개발에 있어, 한국의 중소기업 업무 현실을 반영한 체계적인 구현에 주안을 두었으며, 또한, 리눅스 환경의 안정성에 대한 장점의 활용과 데이터의 보안성 확보에도 많은 노력을 기울였다. 제시한 시스템을 통해 향후, 중소업체의 의사결정 수준 제고 및 생산성 향상을 기대할 수 있다.

This paper deals with the novel type DAVR(digital Automatic voltage Regulator) of the field control system for improving the response and efficiency. The proposed Hybrid type Synchronous Generator consists of permanent magnet which can generate the constant voltage with controlless and field winding. Using Buck-type PWM converter, the response can be improved in the proposed system. The proper operation of the proposed excitation system was verified through the design and experiments.
