Propagation Characteristics of Acoustic Signals Produced by Partial Discharge in Insulation Oil (유중 부분방전 음향신호의 전달특성)

  • This paper describes the propagation characteristics of acoustic signals as a function of distance from the location of partial discharge(PD) occurrence to analyze correlation between discharge magnitude and acoustic signal in insulation oil. To measure small acoustic signals produced by PD, we fabricated an amplifier and simulated PD at a needle-plane electrode system set in insulation oil. The amplifier has the gain of 40 dB and the frequency bandwidth of 1.6 kHz$\sim$1.6 MHz. These are enough characteristics for the measurement of acoustic signals. After a comparative calibration experiment by a standard pulse generator and a coupling capacitor, we analyzed the propagation characteristics of acoustic signals in insulation oil.

  • Various sensors such as capacitive probe, high frequency current transformer (HFCT), and acoustic emission (AE) probe were applied to a cast resin dry type transformer for partial discharge detection. We designed and fabricated a wideband low-noise amplifier having a gain of 40[dB]. From the experiment which was carried out in the same transformer, the sensitivities were 7.16[mV/pC] for capacitive probe, 3.8[mV/pC] for HFCT, and 17.9[mV/pC] for AE probe.

  • This paper describes the self healing characteristics of a metalized polypropylene film(MPPF) used for energy storage capacitors. In the experiment, a d.c. voltage was applied to the MPPF, and the partial discharge inception voltages(PDIVs), the applied voltages at self healing, the burn out area and the current in the grounding conductor were measured and recorded. As a result, it was found that no PDs were found till the first pre-self healing occurred, and the applied voltage at self healing was increased with PPF thickness. Self healing was much more dependant on the shape of the air void than its diameter and the burn out area and the current in the grounding conductor at self healing was also increased with the applied voltage at self healing.

  • 오늘날 디지털 컨텐츠 보호를 비롯한 다양한 분야에서 응용되어지고 있는 생체인식은 사람 개개인의 고유한 특징을 이용하여 기존의 인증방식을 대체하기 위한 것으로, 데이터의 무단 복제 및 배포가 사회적인 이슈가 되고 있으며 불법 복제 및 무단 배포에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 방법과 법적인 제도의 필요성이 대두되고 있는 현 시점에서 활발히 연구가 진행되고 있는 분야이다. 특히 지문인식은 기존의 패스워드 방식을 대체 할 수 있는 신뢰성을 지니며, 이미 상용화하기에 이르렀다. 본 논문에서는 지문인식방식을 살펴보고, 이에 있어서 정상적인 지문이 아닌 후천적인 영향으로 손상, 변형된 지문에 대한 인식 및 복구가 이루어질 수 있도록 하고자 한다.

Preliminary EST analysis of immune-relevant genes from the liver of LPS-stimulated rock bream Oplegnathus fasciatus

  • We constructed a rock bream (Oplegnathus fasciatus) liver cDNA library and a total of 1533 expressed sequence tag (EST) clones were generated. Gene annotation procedures and homology searches of the sequenced ESTs were analyzed using BLASTX. Of the 1533 EST clones, 1165 different ESTs showed significant homology to previously described genes while 368 ESTs were unidentified, hypothetical, or unnamed proteins. Encoding 106 different sequences were identified as putative bio-defense genes or genes associated with immune response.

  • Objectives : In the traditional oriental medicine, efforts to utilize the knowledge system so called Ontology have been achieved for systemic researches and efficient propagation of knowledge on oriental medicine. So far, in Korea, studies on drug ontology, pathological ontology, Cold Damage ontology and diagnostic ontology had been implemented, however, any development of ontology in the field of Acupuncture &, Moxibustion has not been achieved. Methods : We used Microsoft Access to collect terms in ZhenJiuJiaYiJing. The terms are related to human body area and structure. And then we built relationship of 'part of' and 'criterion of acupuncture point location' between the terms. Result & Conclusions : The terms used to explain acupuncture points in order to describe the position of acupuncture point name in ZhenJiuJiaYiJing were 8 words concerning different name of acupuncture point(穴名) 109, body part name(人體部位名稱) 150, meridian(經脈) 6 and structure(構造物).
