This study was conducted to explore the factors that influence the development of happiness during childhood using longitudinal data obtained from the Korea Youth Panel Survey(KYPS). Specifically, the causal relationships between factors impacting the individual children, the home environment factor, and the happiness of children were examined over a 3-years-period. The subjects evaluated in this study included 2,844 children (1,524 boys and 1,320 girls) and 2,844 parents who were administered the KYPS. The data were analyzed using the SAS program. The results revealed that happiness that develops during childhood remains stable and constant, which indicates that prior happiness has a strong effect on future happiness. The individual factors affecting the children, which include schoolwork achievement and extra private education, were found to have a great influence on the development of happiness at all ages. The use of longitudinal data in this study is a new method in the field of Human Development.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of Student Majoring in Flight Operation's propensity, safety behavior and aeronautical decision-making. According to the analysis results, First, parents' criticism of perfectionism factor is found to have a negative effect on safety behavior. Second, student pilot's proactive personality has a positive impact on both safety participation behavior and safety compliance behavior. Third, both safety participation behavior and safety compliance behavior are found to have a significant effect on situation awareness, solution generation and solution implementation of decision making stages. Therefore, this study is intended to provide useful basic data that can be applied to studies such as appropriate psychological counseling, optimal training directions and teaching methods in order to cultivate excellent human resources through safe flight training.

The premature convergence of genetic algorithms (GAs) is the most major factor of slow evolution of GAs. In this paper we propose a novel method to solve this problem through competition of multiple offspring of in dividuals. Unlike existing methods, each parents in our method generates multiple offspring and then generated multiple offspring compete each other, finally winner offspring become to real offspring. From this multiple offspring competition, our GA rarel falls into the premature convergence and easily gets out of the local optimum areas without negative effects. This makes our GA fast evolve to the global optimum. Experimental results with four function optimization problems showed that our method was superior to the original GA and had similar performances to the best ones of queen-bee GA with best parameters.

The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of college students' relationship status on their clothing behavior and purchasing process. The subjects of this study were college students. After a survey, 113 questionnaires were used for the data analysis excluding incomplete ones. Factor analysis, paired t-test, Pearson's correlation, one-way ANOVA, MANOVA and Chi-square test were conducted. The data analysis found that female students had higher levels of clothing interest, and fashion-seeking, impulse buying and individuality-seeking motives than male students. Female students who had boyfriends showed particularly higher levels of fashion-seeking and impulse-buying motives. Throughout the clothing purchase process stages, students were most influenced by girlfriend/boyfriend, especially in the evaluation stage. Students who had girlfriends/boyfriends were significantly more influenced by them. Female students were more influenced by parents at the evaluation stage and their female friends at the information search stage.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify drinking form and analyze affecting factors of emergency medical technology students. Methods: Data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by using the SPSS WIN 18.0 and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. Results: In factors of the monthly drinking frequency, start drinking(middle school), smoking, pocket money, education level of mother were statistically profitable(p<.05). In factors of the monthly drinking too much frequency, gender, education level of mother, start drinking(high school), economical level were statistically profitable(p<.05). In factors of subjective model of drinking, discord with parents, education level of mother, age were statistically profitable(p<0.05). Conclusion: Teacher and the authorities of school and government must know seriousness and importance of drinking and endeavor to solve the problem and prepare the political plan and solution.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the environmental factors and the family structure on the academic achievements of their children. Among various environmental factors, the family income, the affective relationship between mother and child, and the mother's educational involvement are considered. Total of 164 mothers with children attending elementary school completed the structured questionnaires. The degree of educational involvement of single mothers was lower than that of mothers of both parents families. In order to analyze factors that affect children's academic achievement, the path regression was performed. The family income and the mother-child affective relationship were found to have indirect effects on the academic achievements of elementary school students through maternal involvement in their children's education.

Objectives In this study, we obtained Korean version of CEBQ (Children's Eating Behaviour Questionnaire) and verify whether it is reliable or not. Methods Total 106 parents completed this questionnaire, and we gathered children's BMI data and examined the relationship between children's BMI and mean scale scores. Results 1. This study results confirmed the theorectical factor structure, with acceptable internal reliability and between-subscale correlations. 2. There are significant mean scale scores difference between anorexia group and control group. 3. There are significant relations between children's BMI and mean scale scores. Conclusions The results support the use of the CEBQ as a phsychometrically sound tool for assessing children's eating behaviours in Korean children.

The husband-wife Marital on Satisfaction is the important influence factor for stable home, family happiness and family management. As for the marital on satisfaction degree between husband-wife about 7,081 who have spouse and can married woman, the satisfaction degree was low, due to home economy state, education level difference from spouse, husband's job, arranged marriage based on parents advice, case that husband is the eldest son, case of wives who have job, conflict and dissatisfaction. In case that they trust and idealize mutually and wives have religion, their satisfaction degree was good.

The purpose of this research was to examine variables contributing to the father's role performance. The study has been designed to measure the quantitative(i.e. amount of involvement) and the qualitative(i.e. depth of affection/care) values in their modes of child-rearing practices by taking a clouter look at the father's views on their careers and on offspring. Subjects were 516 fathers of school-age children. Analyzing the factors that determine the quantitative and qualitative aspects of child-rearing practices by the fathers, the sense of fulfillment/value in life is the decisive factor behind the affection(i.e. qualitative) in the child-rearing practices. The resets indicated that the father's perceptions on their careers and on their children constitute the critical factors behind the qualitative and quantitative aspects of child-rearing practices, albeit holding such factors as the parents'working hour or as mothers with outside jobs under control.
