청소년이 지각한 부모 역할기대와 역할수행이 부모-자녀관계에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Adolescents' Parents' Role Expectation and Role Performance on Parents and Children's Relationship)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the variables on adolescents' perception of parents and children's relationship. Independent variables were the expectation of the parents' role, role performance by adolescents' perception and socio-demographic variables. In order to achieve this purpose, the survey was taken by 758 adolescents (middle & high school students) from Daegu. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, Factor Analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, Pearson's correlation coefficient, Multivariate Analysis of Variance, Scheffe test for post hoc, and Multiple Regression. The major findings were: 1) Role expectation had significant differences in the grade, gender, birth order, father's level of education, father's job, mother's age, and household economy of socio-demographic variables. Role performance showed significant differences in the grade, gender, father's age, parents' level of education, father's job, and household economy of socio-demographic variables. 2) Adolescents' perception of parents and children's relationship was affected by role expectation and role performance.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate parent expectation and satisfaction with respect to pediatric inpatient care and to identify the variables related to parent satisfaction. Methods: The study was conducted in pediatric wards of a tertiary children's hospital in Korea. The participants were 361 parents of children who were inpatients. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire (The Pediatric Family Satisfaction Questionnaire) at the time of discharge. Results: The highest parent expectation domain was medical service. The parents were most satisfied with nursing service and least satisfied with general hospital service and accommodation. The parents expressed lower satisfaction with hospital facilities, equipment, noise, cleanliness, and communication by health care professionals. Parents with younger children reported higher expectation from the complete hospital service and those who had a longer length of stay reported higher expectation from the nursing service. Conclusion: To improve the quality of hospital services, we need to understand parent expectation and improve and provide clear communication. In addition, the general hospital service and accommodation should not be overlooked for improvement.

부모들의 보육시설 이용기대와 만족도에 대한 부모-교사간의 지각차이 (Parent-teacher differences in the perception of parental expectation and satisfaction on the use of child care service)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine what parents really want to daycare center and how much they are satisfied with the daycare service they use. This study also explored how exactly daycare teachers recognize the parental needs and satisfaction on daycare service. One hundred and seventy one parents who send their child to a daycare center in Seoul, and one hundred and thirty five teachers from the same daycare centers participated in this study. Parents were asked about their needs and expectation on daycare service and the degree of satisfaction on the daycare center (including educational facilities, teacher's role, specific programs, etc.). Teachers provided answers about their understanding on what the parents want and how much parents are satisfied with their daycare center. Results revealed that parents are generally satisfied with the daycare service such as educational programs and educational facilities and teachers' role conducting. However, some parent-teacher differences were found in their perception on the levels and domains of parental expectation and satisfaction with daycare service. The parent-teacher differences would give very practical tips for teachers, who plan and conduct everyday daycare programs and actually interact with children in the setting for better daycare service.

숲 체험 놀이 활동이 유아 학부모의 기대감과 유아의 다중지능향상에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Children's Play Activities through Forest Experience on Their Parents' Expectation and Their Multiple Intelligence Improvement)

  • 본 연구는 숲 체험 놀이 활동이 유아 학부모의 기대감과 유아의 다중지능향상에 미치는 영향력을 살펴보기 위해 A지역 소재 어린이집 유아 학부모 152명을 대상으로 구조방정식 모델을 적용하여 실증 조사하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 유아의 숲체험 놀이 활동의 신체적, 사회적, 인지적 요인이 학부모가 유아의 안전 활동 기대감과 미세먼지 염려에 미치는 요인에 있어 신체적, 인지적 요인이 채택된 반면, 사회적 요인은 기각되었다. 둘째, 유아 숲체험 놀이 활동이 유아의 다중지능 향상에 미치는 영향에서 신체적, 사회적, 인지적 요인이 다중지능 향상의 하위 요인인 사회성에 영향을 미쳤다. 또한, 사회적, 인지적 자발성은 감수성과 창의성 향상에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아의 숲체험놀이 활동이 다중지능 향상에 미치는 영향에서 학부모의 기대감이 매개역할을 할 것이라는 가설 3은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타나 기각되었다. 이와 같은 결과는 숲체험 활동의 신체적, 인지적 요인이 유아 학부모의 미세먼지 염려와 안전활동에 직접적인 영향을 받는 요인임을 확인하였으며, 그리고 사회성 요인은 유아의 어린이집 내 다양한 교육에서 충분히 습득될 수 있는 요인으로 숲체험 놀이 활동에 대한 학부모의 기대감과는 다소 거리가 있음을 시사한 것으로 평가할 수 있다.

아동 요리활동 프로그램에 대한 학부모의 기대와 만족에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Expectation and Satisfaction of Parents on Cooking Activity Programs for Children)

  • 본 연구에서는 요리활동 프로그램의 교육적 가치와 효과를 인식하여 아동 요리활동 프로그램에 대한 학부모의 기대와 만족을 비교하고, 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 자녀에게 요리활동 프로그램을 시행하고 있거나 시행한 경험이 있는 학부모를 대상으로 총254개의 표본을 바탕으로, 대응표본 t검정, IPA분석, 회귀분석, One-way ANOVA를 시행하였고, Duncan's multiple test를 통해 사후 검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 요리활동 프로그램의 기대와 만족의 차이에는 '언어 표현능력 향상', '수개념 및 과학개념 발달', '내면을 표현하는 표현력 신장', '정서적 안정감과 스트레스 해소에 도움'이 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 요리활동 프로그램의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 '교육내용 및 방법'이 나타났으며, 요리활동 프로그램 기관에 따른 만족도의 차이를 알아본 결과 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

일지역 초등학교 학부모의 학교보건사업에 대한 기대 (Expectation about school health program of primary school parents in a region)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the expectation about school health program of primary school parents as an important variable for growth of school health program fore area locked primary school parents 631 by self-administered questionnaire between June 20 and September 29, 2001 The results were as follows 1. General characteristic of the Subjects Age rates of the subjects were 45.5% on 35~39 years old and 34.7% over 40 years old. Economic status were middle level 86%, participation rates of school health education for parent were 16.8%, recognition rates on significance of school health education were 89.9%. 2. Health knowledge of parents The mean score on health knowledge of the subjects was 6.8 from a total of 10. there was a statistically significant difference with regard to health knowledge among the 7school(F=3.46, p=.016). 3. Health behavior of parents The mean score on health behaviors of the subjects was 77.3 from a total of 100. there was no statistically difference in health behavior among the school. 4. The expectation about school health program of the parents The mean score on the expectation about school health program of the subjects was 51.1 from a total of 140. there was a statistically significant difference with regard to the expe ctation about school health program among the school(F=3.75, p=.010). 5. Health behaviors and the expectation about school health program from sociod emogr aphic Backgrounds of the Subjects. In the backgrounds of the subjects, the score on health behavior was higher the mothers(t=2.89,p=.004), the upper class(F=7.38, p=.000), the higher participation level of school health education of parent(F=7.38, p=.000) and the higher recognition level on significance of school health education of parent(F=9.94, p=.000). The score on the expectation about school health program was higher the lower recognition level on significance of school, health education of parent and on the expectation about health screening & preventive services was significant difference by age. however, the difference was not significant in the others.

  • 이 연구는 청소년의 자기통제력과 인터넷 기대가 인터넷 중독에 미치는 영향에 대한 부모 양육태도의 조절효과를 분석해 봄으로써 정책적 이론적 시사점을 도출한 연구이다. 이를 위해 G광역시에 소재하고 있는 고등학생 312명을 대상으로 자기통제력, 인터넷 기대, 부모양육태도, 인터넷 중독의 척도로 구성된 설문을 실시하여 그 변인들간의 관계를 탐구하였다. 연구결과, 청소년의 자기통제력과 인터넷 기대는 인터넷 중독에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 청소년의 자기통제력과 인터넷 기대가 인터넷 중독에 미치는 영향은 조절요인인 부모 양육태도에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구에서는 이러한 분석 결과를 토대로 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relative effect of individual-, parents-, and game-related variables on game addiction. Totally, 1065 10 to 18-year-olds participated and completed questionnaires. Male students had more tendency to game addition than female students. No difference in the level of addiction, however, was appeared among elementary, junior-high, and high school groups, which means that many young children are already Same-addicted. More severely addicted children and adolescents showed higher level of impulsivity, more difficulties in communication with their parents, and more expectation of psychological gratification and interpersonal relationship through the internet games. The relative effects of these independent variables to game addiction were different among gender*school groups. Firstly, impulsivity was significant only in boys of elementary group. Secondly, for the junior-high group, communication with father and mother was important to boys and girls, repectively. Lastly, expected gratification from gaming itself mainly predicted high school students' game addiction, irrespective of gender. The findings of this study suggest that earlier intervention to young garners should be carried out. It is also indicated that parents' and teachers' role for guidance of the internet games would be different with children's gender and developmental stages.

유치원 교육에 관한 학부모의 인식과 기대에 관한 실태조사 (A study on the perception and expectation of Parent about Kindergarten Education)

  • The purpose of the study is to analyze the perception and expectation made by parents, regarding the goal, methods and management of kindergarten education. The study is designed to identify social needs for the early childhood education and to produce some important information necessary for the development of education programs for kindergarteners and for the management of a kindergarten. As subjects of the study, 623 mothers of kindergartens were sampled from kindergartens. The researcher constructed a questionnaire of multiple-choice type for surveying opinions of the subjects, based on the analysis of curriculum materials published by Korean Ministry of Education. In data analysis, frequency of response on each item of the questionnaire was tabulated, and chi-square test was applied for testing the difference between independent samples. The results of the study are summarized as followings: First, parents feel kindergarten education necessary because 'interaction with peers' itself must be an important condition for socialization of younger children. For an 'ideal personality' to be pursued in kindergarten education, parents place 'moral personality' in the first priority.' And for educational objective of kindergarten they select 'development of cooperative attitude' as the most important one. Second, 'play method' is emphasized by parents as the most desirable educational method for kindergartener. Third, they think it is necessary for parents to participate in the management of kindergarten. And they also feel that parents of kindergartener should be educated on the early childhood education. Fourth, parents emphasize that the early childhood education should be integrated into a public educational system in order to provide equal educational opportunity for all preschoolers.

기혼자녀의 성별에 따른 부모에 대한 경제적 지원 및 수혜의 영향 요인 (The factors that influence the financial supports and benefits between an adult married child and the parents by gender)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of a married adult on child-toparent and on parent-to-child financial supports. The data, derived from Korean General Social Survey(KGSS) was obtained from the Survey Research Center at Sung Kyun Kwan University. The samples included 367 married adult children who had more than one living parent. Multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the research model. The findings from the analysis showed that monthly household income had no significant impact on the financial supports that adult children provided to their parents or that the parents provided to their child. The expectation of financial supports from their parents in the future was a important factor that affected the level of female and male children's financial supports that they received from their parents. The level of instrumental supports from their parents and their parents-in-law did influence the level of financial transfers between them. These results showed that financial transfers between married adult children and their parents differed based on the children's attitude towards the supporting parents, and whether or not the children or parents had alternative resources available to them for financial supports. Moreover, the variation in financial supports and benefits showed complex differences based on the gender of the children, and based on whether the financial support was coming from the respondent's parents or their partner's parents.
