컴퓨터가 정보를 이해한다' 라는 알로 표현될 수 시멘틱 웹은 WWW의 발전으로 인해 축적된 방대한 데이터 속에서 우리가 원하는 '더' 정확한 정보를 찾아 줄 수 있는 대안으로 주목받고 있다. 이에 대한 연구는 다양한 분야에서의 접근을 하고 있으며 그 '개념' 을 점점 실체화시키려고 노력하고 있으나 아직 뚜렷한 모습은 나타내고 있지 않다. 이에 본 연구에서는 시맨틱 웹의 실용화 측면에서 시맨틱 웹의 개념을 이용하여 잠재고객 탐색 에이전트를 설계하였다. 시멘틱 웹 기반의 잠재고객 탐색 에이전트는 인터넷 상의 인터넷 쇼핑몰 및 우체국 택배의 가능한 업체를 선별, 추출하여 잠재 고객을 찾아냄으로써 택배 마케팅을 위한 정보를 제공해 주기 위한 시스템이다. 본 연구에서는 택배 마케팅의 잠재 고객에 대한 정보를 검색하기 위해, 시멘틱 웹 기반의 온톨로지 생성을 위한 구체적인 도메인을 설계하고, 생성된 온톤로지를 이용하는 정보 검색 방법에 대해 소개한다.

Recently, the postal service encounters the various changes in the overall mail environment including the reduction of letter volume, keen competition of the private parcel service and EMS, diversification of customers' demand and etc. In this environment, Korea Post is considering new concept of postal service in order to provide the mail service based on informatization and automation to a client and secures the predominance in competition. We analyze the current environment of postal service for applying the gCRM (Geographic Customer Relationship Management). We propose some possible application fields and present an efficient phased application plan for each field.

전세계적으로 우편 물량의 감소, 민간 사업자와의 경쟁심화 등의 환경 변화 속에서 안정적 우편수익을 창출하고 소포우편물의 소통품질을 향상하기 위해 주요국 우편사업자들은 단시간에 우편물 처리를 자동으로 구분하여 자동 처리율을 극대화하기 위한 방안을 모색하고 있다. 국내 우정사업본부도 신규 도입 및 교체 시기가 도래함에 따라 중장기적 관점의 신규 소포구분기의 도입계획 수립하였다. 그 일환으로 소포구분기의 표준 규격을 마련하고 소포구분기의 국산화에 박차를 가하여 향후 도입 비용 및 유지보수 비용을 절감하기 위해 노력하고 있다. 세부적으로 국내 PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) 및 제어 장비를 통해 제어 기술을 확보하고 표준화된 운영이 가능토록 현존 소프트웨어 시스템의 고도화를 통해 소통품질 및 업무성과 개선 기술을 실제 현장 운영을 통해 개발 검증 중이다.

Breakup models are evaluated using the experimental drop trajectory ill this study. The experimental conditions corespond to Weber # 56, 260, 463. Computations are carried out using a modified KIVA-II program with 2 different breakup submodel(TAB and Wave breakup model) and dynamic drag model which the drag coefficient changes dynamically with distortion parameter. Results show that computation with wave breakup model represents the experimental drop trajectory better than that with TAB submodel. And result with wave breakup model shows similar breakup pattern to experimental breakup process. It is thought that in wave breakup model the small drops are shed from the parent drop throughout parcel lifetime such thai this modelling represents the real breakup process well.

지적정보가 미래에 펼쳐질 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 기반 자료라는 측면에서 본다면, 무한한 부가가치를 창출하기 위해서는 새로운 위치 표현, 새로운 좌표 체계 그리고 좌표 관리의 현대화는 필수적이다. 따라서 유비쿼터스 시대를 대비한 지적정보 표현 방안에 대하여 연구를 진행하였다. 본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 환경하에서의 지적필지경계 표현 및 관리를 위하여 필지경계를 현지에서 확인하고 복원할 수 있는 방안을 고찰하였다. 또한 필지별 경계 좌표 표시 및 필지정보 현장 보관 방법을 제시하기 위한 연구도 진행하였다. 그리고 제안한 새로운 좌표계 타당성에 대하여 분석을 진행하였다. 그리고 미래의 지적관리가 더욱 효율적이고 지능화된 관리를 진행할 수 있도록 유비쿼터스 기반 기술인 RFID를 지적필지경계 관리에 적용하는 방안을 제시하였다.

To find out the changes in vertical distribution patterns over the 24-h period, a key and the first step to tackle the problem of adaptive significance of diel vertical migration (DVM), vertically stratified time series samplings with multiple opening/closing plankton samplers were done in the East Sea of Korea (Sea of Japan). Sampling was done almost every 4 h for one day period following the same water parcel in Nov. 1995 and May 1996, respectively. Resultant patterns of vertical distribution showed that some species such as most abundant taxa Metridia pacifica and Scolecithyicella minor, both Copepoda, performed DVM even in the study area of strong thermal stratification. Their patterns of DVM such as distance scales and timing of movements were not the same each other, and they were separated from other taxa in the dendrogram obtained by the cluster analyses, Most minor taxa grouped in one, however, seemed not to do DVM in the study area of strong thermal stratification. They usually preferred the warmer surface layer where the foods were probably more abundant.

In this paper, we describe an intelligent monitoring and control system for pick-up/delivery service. This system applies geographical information system(GIS), global positioning system(GPS) and wireless communication technologies for managing pick-up/delivery operations more effectively. It consists of three subsystems, pick-up/delivery sequence planning system, pick-up/delivery monitoring system, and PDA execution system. Pick-up/delivery sequence planning system generates routes and schedules for pick-up/delivery using GIS and optimization techniques. Pick-up/delivery monitoring system monitors current positions of vehicles and actual pick-up/delivery results as compared with planned routes and visit times, while PDA execution system transmits information for vehicles positions and actual pick-up/delivery results using GPS and wireless communication technologies. The intelligent monitoring and control system is currently being used for the pick-up parcel service in a local post office of Korea Post.

Recently, ordinary mail is decreasing continuously by the development of ICT (Information and Communications Technology) including E-mail, messenger service, and etc. On the contrary, parcel post is increasing by the increase of online shopping, home shopping, and etc. Aside from these changes, the demand for various mail acceptance and delivery means is increasing with the increase of single households and dual-income couples. To overcome these environmental changes, Korea Post installs unmanned post offices which are composed of various unmanned mail acceptance and delivery postal systems. In this paper, we propose the methodological approach for the site selection of unmanned post office among the existing post offices and the installation standard of unmanned postal system considering the operation cost by the mail volume.

Using a framework of the relational exchanges in relationship marketing, this study analyzed success factors of domestic CATV home shopping market which has rapidly grown recently. In order to carry out this analysis, the current status of domestic CATV home shopping market and the operational strategies of relationship marketing by the concerning enterprises were examined. More specifically, the exchange partners that have exchange relationship with domestic CATV home shopping companies were classified into the end-users, manufacturing companies, logistics and parcel delivery companies, SO companies, and other related industries, and then the operational strategies of relationship marketing for each partner were analyzed.

건설도면 CAD자료와 GIS자료를 연계하기 위해서는 임의의 좌표체계와 축척으로 표현된 건설도면 CAD 자료를 GIS 자료의 지도좌표로 변환하기 위한 과정 이 수행되어 야 한다. 본 연구에서는 준공과정에서 제출되는 건축물 CAD배치도상의 인접대지경계선 폴리곤과의 연속지적도상의 개별 필지 경계선의 형상 정합과정을 수행함으로써 좌표변환에 필요한 변수를 도출해 보았다. 이렇게 도출된 변환함수를 배치도면상의 건물경계선과 같은 다른 객체에 적용함으로써 개별 CAD자료를 GIS 자료에 연계할 수 있는 실좌표 부여 방법을 적용하고 평가해 보았다.
