Genetic and phenotypic parameter estimates for measurement traits were obtained from pacific oyster Crassostrea gigas at nine months old. For the growth-related traits among nine months old pacific oyster, heritabilities of shell length, shell height, shell width, total weight, body weight and shell weight were estimated as 0.4855, 0.5248, 0.0884, 0.7236, 0.7726 and 0.6957, respectively. Genetic correlations among the growth-related traits of pacific oyster at nines month old, shell length, shell height, shell width, total weight, body weight, shell weight were showing highly positive correlations. Breeding value on growth-related traits of pacific oyster at nine months old were estimated as shell length -7.044-11.870, shell height -11.380-18.370, shell width -1.234-2.831, total weight -8.339-17.140, body weight -1.813-3.507 and shell weight -4.422-8.837. The results show that there is quite substantial additive genetic variance for measurement traits in pacific oyster that can be exploited through selective breeding.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effects of non-watering, fasting and non-watering fasting for 16-17 hrs on haematological and biochemical parameters in SD rats. 1. Liver weight was decreased in the order of in the fasting group, non-watering fasting group and non-watering group in both sexes. 2. In fasting group and non-watering fasting group, haematologic parameters of male (HGB and MCH) and femal (MCHC) were trends to decrease compared with normal feeding & watering group. 3. In the differential leucocyte counts, there were no significant differences compared with noraml feeding % watering group.

By introducing some parameters and using the way of weight function and the technic of real analysis and complex analysis, a new Hilbert-type integral inequality with a best constant factor and a combination kernel involving two mean values is given, which is an extension of Hilbert's integral inequality. As applications, the equivalent form and the reverse forms are considered.

This paper presents the optimization steps with weight and importance of estimated characteristic values in the multiresponse surface analysis(MRA). The research introduces the shape parameter of individual desirability function for relaxation and tighening of specification bounds. The study also proposes the combinded desirability function using arithmetic, geometric and harmonic means considering the measurement unit and numerical pattern.

We study the homogeneous Dirichlet boundary value problem of generalized Laplacian systems with a singular weight which may not be in $L^1$. Using the well-known fixed point theorem on cones, we obtain the multiplicity results of positive solutions under two different asymptotic behaviors of the nonlinearities at 0 and ${\infty}$. Furthermore, a global result of positive solutions for one special case with respect to a parameter is also obtained.

In this paper, we consider φ-Laplacian nonlocal boundary value problems with singular weight function which may not be in L¹(0, 1). The existence and nonexistence of positive solutions to the given problem for parameter λ belonging to some open intervals are shown. Our approach is based on the fixed point index theory.

It is expected that the change of industrial structure of Knowledge based economy, and service based economy would affect on economic life of physically-challenged person with no exceptions. There have been some former studies which have been misunderstood the employment of disabled due to the declining employment of the disabled and prejudice to the disabled based on biased perspective and public opinion. This study have analyzed the employment conditions of the ordinary workers and disabled workers out of those prejudices and biased opinions. Wage, economic activity ratio, age, educational background and industry those 5 parameters are brought for analyzing the two comparison group. Each parameter have compared based on the statistical data of ordinary workers and disabled workers for past 7 years. Weight between each parameter have been drawn by collecting the experts' opinion using AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process), and utility of employment of two comparison groups have been estimated through progress inclination of each parameter. Through the estimated outcome, present condition and controversial issues and way of improvement of domestic employment of ordinary workers and the disabled is mentioned.

In this paper, we proposed a new approach to weight each feature parameter by considering the dispersion of feature parameters and its degree of contribution to recognition rate. We determined the total distribution factor that is proportional to recognition rate of each feature parameter and the dispersion factor according to the dispersion of each feature parameter. Then. we determined state-dependent weighting using the total distribution factor and dispersion factor. To verify the validity of the proposed approach, recognition experiments were performed using the PLU(Phoneme-Like Unit)-based HMM. Experimental results showed the improvement of 7.7% at the recognition rate using the proposed method.

Cai-go management facility of harbor are required an expansion due to increase of cargo quantity. Design technology of Yard AGV call be possible to deal many cargo rapidly and accurately. So it is produced a profit about cal-go management. This study is presented optimum of suspension parameter for design technology Yard AGV. Model I, II are modeled about Initial of container weight, height. When the maximum stroke of suspension is 0.26m, optimum is achieved to reduce the reaction force at the minimum. Also, the reaction force is study to become stability in I second. A change of spring constant and coefficient of damper make change the reaction force and minimum reaction force appear in optimum value. All modeling and analysis are used combination. contact element of Ansys program.

The large forgings used in chemical plants or nuclear power plants are produced by complex heat treatment. because of thickness up to 200~300 mm and weight up to 200~300 ton, setting proper heat treatment cycle is so difficult. In addition, defects of products make companies wasting large money and valuable time. In this study, to reduce try & err, when setting heat treatment of reactor pressure vessel steel SA508Gr.3, carrying out the basic mechanical property test of SA508 Gr.3 and testing hardness of SA508Gr.3 in various tempering temperature. and calculating temper curve with Hollomon-Jaffe parameter.
