고속철도의 역사형식에 따른 철도소음의 실내 전달특성 분석 (Analyses of the Railway Noise Transmission Characteristics of the Rooms in High-speed Train Stations Depending on Building Types)

  • 철도기술의 발달에 따라 열차의 주행속도는 점차 증가하였으며 최근에 들어 400 km/h 이상의 초고속열차가 등장하기에 이르렀다. 최근 우리나라에서도 열차의 주행속도를 300 km/h에서 350 km/h 이상으로 증가시키려고 했으나 주행 시 소음 및 진동의 문제가 발생할 우려가 있어서 현실화되지 못하고 있다. 그러나 고속열차의 주행속도가 증가함에 따라 소음 진동이 증가되는 피해가 우려되며 그 중에서도 철도 역사는 고속열차의 정차 및 통과시에 열차와 가장 근거리에 위치한 건축물로써 열차소음에 의한 사용자의 피해가 가장 크게 발생한다. 소음의 피해는 고속철도 역사의 건축방식에 따라 다를 것으로 예상되며 본 연구에서는 지하역과 선하역 2종류, 지상역, 선상역 등 총 5가지의 역사형식의 고속철도 역사를 대상으로 소음분석을 실시하였다. 본 논문에서는 고속열차의 속도 증가에 따른 역사의 실내 소음 을 예측하고 실내 허용 소음기준(Noise Criteria, NC)과 비교 분석하여 적정성을 평가하였다. 또한 차음성능 예측 공식 및 컴퓨터 프로그램을 활용하여 건축 부위별 마감재의 차음성능을 계산하였다. 최종적으로 마감재 변경을 통해 역사시설의 소음환경이 적정 실내허용소음을 만족할 수 있도록 개선하는 일련의 과정을 도출하고자 한다.

  • 보물 제1752호 고창 선운사 소조비로자나삼불좌상 보존을 위해 불상을 구성하는 주요 재질에 대한 과학적 분석을 실시하였다. 소조불상을 구성하는 토양층 분석결과 중립사 이상의 모래와 세립사 이하의 토양이 3:7의 비율로 쓰인 것으로 나타났으며, 닥나무의 인피섬유도 함께 확인되었다. 따라서 소조토는 모래와 풍화토를 혼합하고 분산방지를 위해 닥지를 섬유질로 첨가한 것을 알 수 있다. 수종분석 결과, 아미타여래, 비로자나불, 약사여래의 좌대 및 팔 부위를 구성하는 목재는 모두 경송류(Hard pines)로 식별되었으며, 개금층 분석 결과, 시료 단면에서 3개의 층위가 확인되었다. 불상의 나발은 석영, 조장석, 미사장석, 운모, 자철석 등 토양성 물질로 구성되었으며, 나발의 표면은 자철석이 함유된 흑색물질을 이용하여 표면을 채색한 것으로 판단된다.

국내산 Kenaf 이용에 관한 연구 (제2보) - Kenaf TMP와 KP의 물리적 성질 - (Utilization of Kenaf Cultivated in Korea (II) - Physical properties of kenaf TMP and KP -)

  • Whole, bast and core fibers of kenaf cultivar Tainung-2 were pulped under different pulping methods, thermomechanical and kraft pulping methods. The physical and optical properties of kenaf TMP(thermomechanical pulp) and KP(kraft pulp) handsheets were investigated and the results from the study are summarized as follows: Yields of TMP and KP were $77{\sim}87%\;and\;43{\sim}52%$, respectively. There was no significant change in apparent density between kenaf KP and USKP(unbleached softwood kraft pulp) but TMP showed a little lower apparent density. Bast pulp had the lowest apparent density regardless of pulping methods. Tensile strength of kenaf KP was higher than that of TMP but similar to that of USKP. Both TMP and KP handsheets of bast fraction showed the highest tear strengths among whole, bast, and core fractions. Core fraction showed the lowest tear strengths under different pulping methods. In general burst strength of kenaf pulp under different pulping methods was lower than that of USKP, and kenaf pulp had better stiffness than USKP. Brightness of kenaf KP and TMP was higher than that of USKP. There was no significant variation in opacity between kenaf pulp and USKP even though kenaf pulp showed a little lower opacity. The main difference in paper quality between the core fiber and bast fiber is derived from the fact that bast fiber is long and thin, whereas core fiber is short and thick.

한지(韓紙)의 환기성능에 관한 실험적 연구 (The Experimental Study on the Efficiency of Ventilation of Korean Paper (Hanji))

  • The purpose of this study is to reevaluate the performance of Hanji as a architectural material. Recent studies report that one of the causes of the Sick-HouseㆍSick-Building Syndrome is due to the contaminants from interior materials and the lack of ventilation. In this study, the properties of Hanji are investigated. The major focuses of this research are (1) how efficient the Hanji is for ventilation of the house and (2) whether the usage of Hanji brings required ventilation volume to the house. According to the test results, differential pressure in the air and the amount of ventilation showed linear relationship. Test results differ from various kinds of Hanji. Since houses usually have double window system, Hanji can be used to the windows system, especially for inner part of double window system. It is suggested that the combination of Hanji windows for the inner part and glass windows for outer part is very effective, and offers a solution to improvement of indoor air quality and the lack of ventilation with passive ventilation that has less energy consumption.

  • This study is to establish the dwelling principle and architectural characteristics of Powhatan Indian Community in Eastern part of North America. To find a pattern and dwelling principle of town building and housing, I have researched both site survey of Powhatan at Jamestown Settlement in Virginia and a related references of North America Indian. In addition of study, I have tried to understand their life style in 17C, a spatial characteristics of space composition, and a using materials of Yehakin which means Powhatan's house in the exhibition hall of Jamestown Settlement. The results of this paper are as follows: First, the form of Powhatan house is like a longhouse which has two types that are oblong and rectangular house. Usually they had lived in the style of oblong house. Second, there are three patterns to set up the semi-permanent settlement of Powhatan, which are circle-type, street-type, and free-type of village. Third, the fire place of interior space that is most importance element to heat and cook is put it into the center of room, and the other beds and shelves are arranged by the side of wall which is covered of rush matt.

디지털 영상 합성에 의한 X선 단층 영상의 형상 정확도와 선명도 분석 (Analysis of X-ray image Qualities -accuracy of shape and clearness of image using X-ray digital tomosynthesis)

  • X-ray laminography and DT(digital tomosynthesis) that can form a cross-sectional image of 3-D objects promis to be good solutions for inspecting interior defects of industrial products. DT is a kind of laminography technique and the difference is in the fact that it synthesizes the several projected images by use of the digitized memory and computation. The quality of images acquired from the DT system varies according to image synthesizing methods, the number of images used in image synthesizing, and X-ray projection angles. In this paper, a new image synthesizing method named 'log-root method' is proposed to get clear and accurate cross-sectional images, which can reduce both artifact and blurring generated by materials out of focal plane. To evaluate the quality of cross-sectional images, two evaluating criteria : (1) shape accuracy and (2) clearness of the cross-sectional images are defined. Based on these criteria, a series of simulations are performed, and the results show the superiority of the new synthesizing method over the existing ones such as averaging and minimum methods.

  • 방사광의 특성과 방사광의 발생원리에 대한 소개를 하였다. 매우 높은 스펙트럼 휘도와 매우 넓은 영역의 스펙트럼 범위, X-선 파장 조절 가능성과 고도의 지향성 및 집속성, 그리고 시간에 따른 순간파동 구조를 갖는 방사광을 이용하여 지질학 및 지구환경과학에 적용할 수 있는 실험기법을 기술하였다. 이에는 X선 토모그라피, XRF, XANES, EXAFS, 다이아몬드 앤빌 기기 및 라지 발륨 프레스를 이용한 고온-고압 연구와 에너지문제와 관련하여 원자력발전과 핵폐기물처리에 대한 것이 포함되어 있다. 이러한 실험기법은 광물 및 암석에 대한 화학성분, 결정구조 및 결합상태 분석이 가능하며, 광상학과 고생물학 및 환경학 분야에 적용할 수 있다. 또한 이 연구방법을 이용하면 지구내부물질의 거동에 관한 정보를 얻을 수 있다.

“Art Nouveau양식(樣式)이 현대의상(現代衣裳)에 미친 영향”

  • Art Nouveau style refers to the movement of art which was started in France and Belgium in the last decade of the 19th and the early years of the 20th century. The distinguishing characteristics of Art Nouveau style are the sensous sinuosity of its line, nervously undulating, curving over itself, rhythmical, flowing in endless patterns, which are inspired by animals and plants, specially by flowers, leaves, long stalks. The Art Nouveau style includes also the extreme simplicity of form, and asymmetric design. This new trend of art movement spread into architecture, furniture, wall papers, graphic design, accessories and textiles. In this paper, I tried to find out whether or not the Art Nouveau style had an effect on clothing. Because I believe clothing, like architecture, painting, and sculpture, is an Art form that derives from a particular set of cultural circumstances and reflects the needs and aspirations of the society for which it is created. Fashions in clothing over the last five thousand years have mirrorred the art form as well as the spirit. The result of this study shows that the Art Nouveau style made a lasting contribution to the modernism of clothing as well as architecture and interior design at the end of 19th century and the early years of the 20th century. The modernism of clothing appeared in the straight silhouette, asymmetric design, simple and light trimming, embroidery with Art Nouveau pattern, and stylized flower design in textile. Art Nouveau made a great contribution toward the modern clothing to have its liveliness and its harmonious relationship between clothing design and the use of materials.

Experimental Cyclic Behavior of Precast Hybrid Beam-Column Connections with Welded Components

  • Post-earthquake observations revealed that seismic performance of beam-column connections in precast concrete structures affect the overall response extensively. Seismic design of precast reinforced concrete structures requires improved beam-column connections to transfer reversed load effects between structural elements. In Turkey, hybrid beam-column connections with welded components have been applied extensively in precast concrete industry for decades. Beam bottom longitudinal rebars are welded to beam end plates while top longitudinal rebars are placed to designated gaps in joint panels before casting of topping concrete in this type of connections. The paper presents the major findings of an experimental test programme including one monolithic and five precast hybrid half scale specimens representing interior beam-column connections of a moment frame of high ductility level. The required welding area between beam bottom longitudinal rebars and beam-end plates were calculated based on welding coefficients considered as a test parameter. It is observed that the maximum strain developed in the beam bottom flexural reinforcement plays an important role in the overall behavior of the connections. Two additional specimens which include unbonded lengths on the longitudinal rebars to reduce that strain demands were also tested. Strength, stiffness and energy dissipation characteristics of test specimens were investigated with respect to test variables. Seismic performances of test specimens were evaluated by obtaining damage indices.

Audio-signal Transfer System Design and Evaluation based on Power Line Communication

  • The paper is to solve the problem of existing audio signal transfer system which has a difficulties of system organization and the increase of additional install cost and unfriendly interior. To solve the existing system, we drew the new audio signal transfer system based on PLC and evaluated it. A transmitter and a receiver were designed using the PLC chip INT5500CS. An audio signal transfer system was configured with a CD player to which audio signals are sent from the transmitter and a speaker connected to the receiver. For performance evaluation of this system, a USBPre external sound card and Smaart Live 5 which is a PC-based sound measuring program were added. As a result of our experiment, the measured signal level is $2{\sim}3$ dB lower than reference signal, latency is 16.69 ms, and the specific character of coherency is bad in high frequency band. Otherwise, this system transmits and receives signals over 90 % in good condition as a result of measuring pink noise, frequency (1 kHz), and phase, magnitude. In view of the result so far achieved, the system designed this study has excellent performance, it resolves defect of existing audio signal transfer system.
