  • Recently, in accordance with the development of IT technology, it is prevalent for power quality monitors to be connected to each other via networks and share their data because such networks provide system-wide insights to customers concerning power quality. Those systems can alarm and display power quality events for the convenience of customers. However, if a power quality event occurs, it is difficult for customers to determine its cause and solution because the systems do not provide appropriate power quality diagnosis functions. The power quality management system presented in this paper has been developed to provide customers with various power quality diagnosis functions so that they can cope well with power quality problems with the right measure in the right place. This paper presents the structure and functions of the developed power quality management system and shows some results of the power diagnosis functions.

  • This paper proposes 2 problems of Internet Marketing. Firstly, nowadays many people are aware of Web Service and the services that are available in cyberspace. However they are not fully aware of the concepts and range of Web Services. Secondly, most of the research of Internet Marketing focuses on the service quality of cyber shopping using SERVQUAL in relationship to service quality of shopping malls. Therefore they have a lot of limitations because they do not understand all the media characteristics of Internet. Basically the Internet has service parts and also has characteristics of new advertising. But many research papers do not consider these respects. The purpose of this paper is to study of the effects of Web Service Quality on Internet Commerce Transactions. To accomplish the purpose of this paper effectively, theoretical background of web services was reviewed briefly. We defined Web Services and categorized them. We found that the components of Web Service Quality are Information Providing Service Quality and Advertising Service Quality. Factor analysis is conducted according to the dimensions of each component. We conducted Path analysis how these components affect buyers'attitude and buyers'attitude affect revisit intentions and buyer intentions. The results show that strategies of cycler brand construction are better than strategies of selling to web surfers. The strategies of cyber brand construction are related to buying in that customers increase their visits to the entrepreneur's Web site and this increases the loyalty to that site therefore this is related to buying habits.

  • At present, company has to produce a product that consumer like with a competitive price, a good quality, and a fitting time to supply. Process control and qualify control are very important to supply with a product uniformly and inexpensively In this paper, the characteristic of product quality is monitored by control chart during the machining process and construction of quality control cycle is considered to divide into two types in this case that different assignable causes lead to shifts having different magnitudes. Then we are intended to find a process shift magnitude which has economical quality cost policy and are considered to quality cost functions to find a process shift magnitude. Those costs are categorized into the well-known categories of prevention, appraisal, and internal failure and external failure. This paper ends with numerical examples that demonstrate the usefulness of the model.

  • This paper deals with an optimal process control problem in production of hull structural steel plate with high defective rate. The main quality characteristic(dependent variable) is the internal quality(defect) of plates and is dependent on process parameters(independent variables). The dependent variable(quality characteristics) has three categorical ordinal data and there are 35 independent variables(29 continuous variables and 6 categorical variables). In this paper, we determine the main factors and to develop the mathematical model between internal quality predicted probabilities and the main factors. Secondly, we find out the optimal process condition of main factors through analysis of variance(ANOVA) using simulation. We consider three models to obtain the main factors and the optimal process condition: linear, quadratic, error models.
