외기와 면하는 욕실 내측벽에 압출 발포폴리스티렌 패널을 사용한 단열시공기술에 관한 연구 (A Study of Thermal insulation method using extruded and expanded Poly-ethylene panel contacted to the bathroom inner wall facing on the outside)

  • This study is for the insulation construction of inner wall in a bathroom facing on the outside in the housings. This new dry construction method can be constructed by a dry panel which is bonded tiles on the extruded and expanded poly-ethylene panel in stead of the existing wet construction method. Compared to the existing method, this panel is light movably and is constructed simply. These representative construction merits are getting wide span in a bath due to reducing wall thickness and saving construction period.

주름강판의 차음성능 향상 방안 (Improvement Strategy of the Sound Insulation Performance of a Corrugated Steel Panel)

  • In a railway vehicle, corrugated steel panel is widely used for the floor panel because of its high bending stiffness and light weight. However, this panel shows lower sound insulation performance than that of the plate with the same weight. Especially, in a particular frequency band, transmission loss (TL) rapidly decreases and it results in the deterioration of TL of the overall floor panel. This study identifies that the remarkable drop in TL is caused from the local resonance of the periodic corrugated structure. This study shows that the frequency band of the TL drop can be controlled by the proper design of the corrugated structure. In addition, improvement effect of TL by attaching foam and glass wool is estimated by experiment. The purpose of the study is to provide the practical information for the improvement of the sound insulation performance of the corrugated steel.

  • To improve the fire vulnerability of the organic insulation sandwich panel core, which is the main culprit of the large-scale fire disaster, an experiment was conducted to examine the thermal conductivity properties of the core material mixed with the organic insulation material EPS Bead and the inorganic insulation material glass wool. As the Additional ratio of glass wool increased, the thermal conductivity decreased, and it was determined that the replacement of glass wool of 3% or more had little effect on the decrease in thermal conductivity. In addition, it can be seen that the most ideal thermal conductivity is exhibited when 1% Replacement ratio of EPS and 3% glass wool are added. The core material of such organic and inorganic insulation materials is judged to be a core material that can compensate for the fire vulnerability of existing insulation materials. Therefore, in order to determine whether it is used as a core material for sandwich panels, additional studies such as fire resistance experiments and sound absorption experiments are needed in the future.

  • 철도차량의 바닥재에 널리 사용되는 주름 강판은 국부공진 효과에 의하여 특정 주파수 대역에서의 차음성능이 심각하게 저하된다. 그 대책으로, 본 연구에서는 우레탄 폼재를 주름내부에 충진시키거나 유리면층을 바닥재에 적층시킨 후, 차음성능의 향상효과를 실험적으로 평가한다. 주름강판 및 바닥 적층재를 대상으로 ASTM E2249-02에 근거하여 인텐시티 투과손실을 측정하고 평가한다. 본 연구의 목적은 폼 충진이나 유리면 적층이 중량 증가 측면에서 열차 차체의 차음성능을 어느 정도 향상시키는가를 규명하는 데에 있다.

  • Recently, some major environmental problems are the increase of fossil fuel price and $CO_2$ emission. To solve these problems, it is imperative to develop eco-friendly techniques and to reduce energy consumption in apartment complexes. Therefore, an effective system for insulation needs to be developed to reduce energy consumption. This study compares thermal characteristics between general insulation and super insulation Vacuum Panel, which is thinner and has more insulation efficiency.

  • Recently, framed structure is increasingly being used as apartment structure due to the advantages during remodeling. Therefore, the use of lightweight panel as separating wall is increasing. To construct lightweight panel structures with sound insulation performance appropriate to the conditions of each field, measurement of sound reduction index(SRI) through panel structures should be performed. In this study, measurement of SRI through 46 kinds of panel structures was performed in the condition of various factors such as surface density, air space and absorber. The result showed that SRI of panel structures was generally higher by increasing of surface density. In the case of double panel with no absorber, SRI at below critical frequency was gradually increased according to rise of air space. Double panel with absorber make remarkable improvement in SRI at low frequency, but there is a little difference compared with SRI of double panel with no absorber over critical frequency.

Relationship of Ceramic Insulation Panel System Development and Verification of LCC

  • In this study, life cycle cost (LCC) is analyzed according to insulation panel system type using a deterministic LCC analysis method. Through this analysis, it was found that the construction cost in the deterministic LCC analysis for Ceramic panels was low compared to the construction cost for metal and stone panels. Also, the difference in cost between the Ceramic panel and the metal panel was about 2 times. In the area of maintenance cost, it was found to be similar to the previously analyzed construction cost, in which the metal panel has the highest cost due to the high cost of construction and the frequent need for maintenance. In the case of the stone panel, a small difference in cost is shown compared with that of the Ceramic panel, but the cost is higher than the Ceramic panel. Regarding the cost of waste disposal, the Ceramic panel can reduce the cost by at least 1.5 times and up to 2 times compared to other panel systems. Finally, in the analysis of sensitivity according to changes in discount rates, the Ceramic panel and metal panel systems have a similar cost, and the cost of the metal panel is a bit larger than that of other panel systems. Thus, in the subjects used in the analysis, the Ceramic panel system shows the highest economic benefits.

다중 페널의 차음성능에 대한 실험적 연구 (Empirical Research for the Sound Insertion Loss of Panels)

  • This paper discusses an experimental method for measuring the insertion loss (IL) performance of a double panel that are used in vehicles. Instead of two adjacent reverberation chambers which are generally used to measure the transmission loss (TL) of the large sound isolation materials, air-borne sound insulation tester was utilized to determine the IL and articulation index (AI) of standardized deadening materials. In comparison to reverberation chamber method, air-borne sound insulation tester method is more space-saving, more time-saving and more simple to the automotive acoustics. From the empirical results, it is verified that the performance of deadening materials is closely connected with thickness of panels, type of filling material that is filled into a double panel, and area ratio of double panel.

국부 공진을 고려한 주름강판의 차음 설계 (Sound Insulation Design of the Corrugated Steel Panel Considering Local Resonance)

However, this panel shows lower sound insulation performance than that of the flat plate with the same weight. Especially, in a particular frequency region, transmission loss(TL) rapidly decreases and it results in the deterioration of sound insulation performance of the overall floor structure. This study identifies that the severe decrease in TL is caused from the local resonance of the periodic corrugated structure. TL decrease by local resonance is investigated by experiment and finite element analysis. Finally, design modification of the corrugation is proposed to improve TL and the effect is verified by experiment.

전단연결재를 적용한 무기계 경량기포콘크리트(ALC) 샌드위치 외벽 패널의 단열성능에 미치는 영향요인 분석 (An Analysis of Factors Influencing Insulation Performance of Inorganic Autoclaved Lightweight Concrete Sandwich Wall Panels Using Shear Connectors)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze factors influencing insulation performance of inorganic Autoclaved Lightweight Concrete(ALC) sandwich wall panels with the application of shear connectors. To analyze the effect of shear connectors on the thermal performance of sandwich wall panels, heat transfer analysis was conducted by using the three-dimensional heat transfer simulation software. Four types of shear connector such as Pin, Clip, Grid, and Truss were selected for insulation performance analysis. Thermal bridge coefficient was calculated by varying typical panel thickness and shear connector thickness and materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. The results showed that Grid and Truss type widely distributed along the section of sandwich wall panel had a great influence on the thermal bridge coefficient by changing the influence factors. Based on the results of thermal and structural performance analysis, effective heat transmission coefficient of the sandwich wall panel satisfying the passive house insulation criteria was calculated. As a result, it was found that heat transmission coefficient was increased from $0.132W/m^2{\cdot}K$ to $0.141{\sim}0.306W/m^2{\cdot}K$ depending on the shear connector types and materials. In the majority of cases, the passive house insulation criteria was not satisfied after using shear connectors. The results of this study were likely to vary according to how influence factors were set, but it is important to apply the methods that reduce the thermal bridge when there would be a possibility of greatly affecting the insulation performance.
