  • Analysis of radiation heating system for producing 60" size PDP panels was carried out using $RADCAD^{TM}$ software. Optimum arrangement of infrared heating elements was found to obtain uniform temperature distribution in PDP panel during heating. Heating capacity of each heater was determined to obtain an appropriate maximum panel temperature. Parametric study to find the effect of design parameters such as the thermophysical and optical properties of glass and cooling system was carried out. As a reference system, about 35 kW heating capacity was chosen to obtain about 800 K maximum panel temperature after 30 minute heating. The maximum temperature difference in panel was below 20 K. The maximum/minimum and its difference in the panel were very sensitive to the variation of the emissivity of glass and cooling block.

자동차 외판 특징선 곡면의 단면 형상 측정과 분석 (Measurement and Analysis of the Section Profile for Feature Line Surface on an Automotive Outer Panel)

  • The current study presents a geometric measurement and analysis of the section profile for a feature line surface on an automotive outer panel. A feature line surface is the geometry which is a visually noticeable creased line on a smooth panel. In the current study the section profile of a feature line surface is analyzed geometrically. The section profile on the real press panel was measured using a coordinate measuring machine. The section profiles from the CAD model and the real panel are aligned using the same coordinate system defined by two holes near the feature line. In the aligned section profiles the chord length and height of the curved part were measured and analyzed. The results show that the feature line surface on the real panel is doubled in width size.

  • Many of research on noise reduction techniques have been progressed for the improvement of noise environment in subway train. There are many way to noise reduction techniques in the tunnel, but it has been reported as an alternative to attach sound absorption material on tunnel wall. For this reason sound absorption material has been studied for application of tunnel. The objective of this study is to investigate design parameters on a Helmholtz resonator with built-in sound absorption panel for the reduction of the tunnel noise in the subway. Sound absorption panel composed of the perforated panel with sub-millimeter holes and the airspace backed a rigid wall or between panels. The experiment is performed through the change of number of perforated panel, cross sectional area and the depth of airspace of the sound absorption panel under the normal incidence sound.

조선소 판넬라인의 위험요인 분석 및 안전관리 Application 개발 (Analysis of the Risk Factors and Design of the Safety Management Application for the Panel Line in a Shipyard)

  • The process of panel line in the shipyard produce the panel of outside planking which is located the side and bottom of a ship. The stiffeners or plates are welded onto the plates in this process. In this study, the panel line was performed to work process analysis and was analyzed into the IDEF0(Integration Definition) model that is functional modeling methodology. Also the panel line was analyzed to find out the risk factor and expected accident/safety guide from each process. And then this outputs were applied to the IDEF0 model. The mobile application which is designed by ooCBD(Object-oriented Component Based Development) method is able to use the output data of the process analysis in the panel line. This mobile application could be used by employees and safety managers without regard for working location and time.

중소형 TFT-LCD용 범용 LDI 제어기의 설계 및 FPGA 구현 (The design and FPGA implementation of a general-purpose LDI controller for the portable small-medium sized TFT-LCD)

  • 본 논문에서는 휴대 가능한 중소형($4{\sim}9$인치 크기)의 정보단말기에 사용되는 TFT-LCD(Thin Film Transistor addressed -Liquid Crystal Display)의 LDI(LCD Driver Interface) 제어기(controller)를 제조사와 크기에 관계없이 사용할 수 있는 표준화된 범용 TFT-LCD의 LDI를 설계하고 FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)로 구현하였다. 설계한 LDI 제어기는 FPGA 테스트 보드(test board)에서 검증하였으며, 상업용 TFT-LCD 패널에서 시험결과 안정적으로 상호 동작하였다. 설계한 범용 LDI 제어기의 장점은 LCD의 제조사와 크기에 관계없이 그 동작을 표준화시켜 설계하였으므로 향후 모든 패널내의 SoG(System on a Glass) 모듈 설계에 적용할 수 있는 것이다. 그리고 기존의 방식에서는 LCD 제조사별, 패널 크기별로 별개의 LDI 제어기 칩을 개발하여 사용하지만, 설계한 LDI 제어기는 모든 휴대 가능한 중소형 패널을 구동시킬 수 있어서 IC의 공급가, AV 보드와 패널의 제조 원가 하락을 가져올 수 있으며 가까운 장래에는 보다 우수한 기능의 패널을 제작하기 위한 TFT-LCD 패널 모듈의 SoG 개발이 필연적으로 요구되고 있다. 연구결과는 TFT-LCD 패널을 더욱 소형화, 경량화 그리고 저가격화가 가능하여 기술 및 시장 경쟁력을 선점할 수 있다. 또한 향후 많은 수요가 예상되는 이동형 정보단말기에 사용되는 TFT-LCD 패널 모듈의 SoG IC(Integrated Circuit) 개발과 제작을 위한 기초 자료로서 활용될 수 있다.

  • Theoretical analysis Is carried out to identify the modal coupling effect between some particular acoustic modes of a vehicle compartment cavity and vibration modes of body panels like side doors, roof or floor. A simplified panel-cavity coupled model is investigated on the coupled resonance frequencies, modes and frequency response characteristics. Through parametric study, It Is possible to explain how the acoustic response of a coupled system will be determined by the vibration and acoustic property of the individual panel and cavity system. Full coupled system shows some interesting features different from those of the semi-coupled system In frequency, mode and acoustic response.

  • 본 연구에서는 철근콘크리트 프리캐스트 대형판의 접합부 설계방법 및 해석방법에 대해서 연구를 수행하였다. 접합부의 설계방법은 수평접합부와 수직접합부의 구조적 거동에 대한 안정성 및 일체성을 확보하기 위한 설계법을 제시하였고, 접합부의 해석은 강체스프링 모델에 의한 탄소성해석을 수행 하였다.

  • Springback after draw and flange is the critical factor affecting the product quality. It is very difficult to predict the amount of springback not only because of complex geometry and material characteristics of the stamping product, but because the methodology has not been established. In this study, springback mechanism is introduced, and experimental tryout an automobile panel is carried out for die design of automotive hood panel. Further, introduce adapting design and field springback was verified by trial experimental with the measured tryout result. Finally, introduced about general method in order to predict springback in computer simulation.

  • The purpose of this study is to survey colors of background, marker, and pointer being used in passenger car's display panel, and to suggest ergonomic design guidelines of car's display panel to enhance driver's visibility. An experiment was conducted, in which reading time of display was measured as dependent variable, and colors of black, white, blue and green were selected as background colors of display, and black, white, yellow, and green as marker's colors, and black white, yellow, green and red as pointer's colors. The results showed that reading time of display with white background, yellow marker and pointer was shortest. It was expected that this results could be used as valuable design guidelines in car's display panel.

국부 공진을 고려한 주름강판의 차음 설계 (Sound Insulation Design of the Corrugated Steel Panel Considering Local Resonance)

  • In a railway vehicle, corrugated steel panel is widely used for the floor structure because of its high bending stiffness and light weight. However, this panel shows lower sound insulation performance than that of the flat plate with the same weight. Especially, in a particular frequency region, transmission loss(TL) rapidly decreases and it results in the deterioration of sound insulation performance of the overall floor structure. This study identifies that the severe decrease in TL is caused from the local resonance of the periodic corrugated structure. TL decrease by local resonance is investigated by experiment and finite element analysis. Finally, design modification of the corrugation is proposed to improve TL and the effect is verified by experiment.
