Airframe maintenance is regarded the most important maintenance action in airlines as the aircraft is the most valuable asset in their operation though the volume of airframe maintenance is the last in MRO market. In the selecting process of airframe MRO provider many kinds of evaluation criteria should be considered such as quality, expenses, TAT, capability, and customer support. This paper will suggest the way to select the airframe MRO in airlines and MRO business sectors using AHP.

In general, reliability of AHP depends on pairwise comparison of evaluators. In addition, human judgment on the importance of alternatives or criteria is always imprecise and vague. The Fuzzy AHP technique is suggested and used widely recently. In this paper, we prioritize future energy technology development for well focused R&D. We selected 3 criteria and 10 sub-criteria. According to the result in this study, the most important sub-criterion is the precedence over other competitive technology, the second is the possibility for fundamental technology acquisition, and the third is the improvement energy efficiency. The other side, the lowest important sub-criterion is the technology level compared with advanced countries.

The importance of Human Resource Management is big issue in business management recently. However, employ's job satisfaction is appeared as low. In this study, surveys were conducted among those long-term employs. The importance of job satisfaction is prioritized by AHP analysis based on results of survey to compare to the results of previously studied research. And this study will contribute to improvement of job satisfaction by comparing the facts in two different groups of occupation.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between mothers' marital adjustment and children's social adjustment in commuter couples. The subjects of this study were 96 mother-child dyads. The children were first to sixth grade in the elementary schools. For data analyses, one-way ANOVAs, Scheffe Test for pairwise comparison, Pearson's Correlation were used. Results indicated that there were significant differences in mothers' marital adjustment in terms of the duration of commuting, the number of children, the frequency of fathers' visit and frequency of making a call. And, there was significant difference in children's adaptation in terms of the frequency of fathers' visit. Also, there were significant positive correlations between mothers' marital adjustment subscales and children's social adjustment subscales in commuter couples.

The ${\beta}$-lactamase inhibitory protein (BLIP) produced by Streptomyces exfoliatus SMF19 was purified(33 kDa) and the N-terminal amino acid sequence was determined as NH2-ATSVVAWGGNND. Genomic DNA library of S. exfoliatus SMF19 was constructed in pWE15 and recombinants harbouring the corresponding gene were selected by colony hybridization to the mixture of 36-mer oligonucleotide designed from the N-terminal amino acid sequence. The corresponding gene (bliX) was isolated on a 4-kb ApaI fragment of S. exfoliatus SMF19 chromosomal DNA and then sequenced. The bliX consisting of 1, 119bp encoded a mature protein with a deduced amino acid sequence of 342 residues and also encoded a 40-amino-acid signal sequence. No significant sequence similarity to bliX was found by pairwise comparison using various protein and nucleotide sequences.

단백질의 3차원 공간상의 구조는 단백질 기능을 파악하는데 중요한 정보를 제공하고 있다. 단백질간 구조 비교 방법은 기능적 또는 구조적으로 연관된 단백질 분류 및 단백질 모티프(motif)를 찾는데 유용하게 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 단백질 이차 구조($\alpha$-나선구조와 $\beta$-병풍구조)와 그들 사이의 관계(각도, 거리, 길이, 수소결합)를 기반으로 표현된 두 단백질 구조에서 유사한 부분 구조를 찾는 방법에 대하여 기술한다. 제안된 단백질간 구조 사이의 유사한 부분구조를 찾는 방법은 두 단백질 구조론 이차 구조와 그들 사이의 관계를 이용하여 그래프를 형성한 후, 최대 유사 서브 그래프를 찾는 방법을 이용하여 유사한 부분구조를 찾을 수 있다.

A nonparametric Bayesian multiple comparisons problem (MCP) for dependence parameters in I bivariate exponential populations is studied here. A simple method for pairwise comparisons of these parameters is also suggested. Here we extend the methodology studied by Gopalan and Berry (1998) using Dirichlet process priors. The family of Dirichlet process priors is applied in the form of baseline prior and likelihood combination to provide the comparisons. Computation of the posterior probabilities of all possible hypotheses are carried out through Markov Chain Monte Carlo method, namely, Gibbs sampling, due to the intractability of analytic evaluation. The whole process of MCP for the dependent parameters of bivariate exponential populations is illustrated through a numerical example.

When a product is designed, it is important to consider its image on consumers. In this study, we developed a technique to measure product image. Because human image of a product is very subjective and fuzzy, it is difficult to measure easily. To deal with this difficulty effectively, we used fuzzy- weighted checklist. The fuzzy-weighted checklist presents a fuzzy version of the weighted checklist technique for evaluating or comparing complex systems or subjects. In this technique, we used a pairwise comparison method to obtain the relative importance weights of image factors. Also, we used linguistic ratings to obtain the scores of image factors for a product. Then, we synthesized the scores of image factors to obtain a fuzzy composite score and its linguistic approximation. The entire procedure of this technique was written in quick Basic. As an example, this techinque is applied to car evaluation. The results show that this technique can be effectively used to the quqntitative evaluation of huamn image.

We give a mathematical approach using Linear Algebra, especially largest eigenvalue and eigenvector on decision making support system. We find a mathematical modeling on decision making problem which could be solved by AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. Especially, we give a new approach to change evaluation indicator weight on assessing research proposals.

In this paper, fuzzy hierarchical analysis (FHA) is used to explore the process by which the criteria weights of the Taiwan National Quality Award (TNQA) are assigned by TNQA committee members. Each member is allowed to employ fuzzy scales in place of exact scales. Each pairwise comparison of criteria is made through a questionnaire from each TNQA committee member. The membership function of trapezoidal fuzzy numbers is introduced to specify TNQA committee members' intentions. After FHA, the reasonable range of each criterion weight of TNQA is determined. The current criteria weights of TNQA are properly verified.
