Previous research on data recovery in Microsoft SQL Server has focused on restoring data based on in the transaction log that might have deleted records exist. However, there was a limit that was not applicable if the related transaction log did not exist or the physical database file was not connected to Server. Since the suspect in the crime scene may delete the data records using a different deletion statements besides "delete", we need to check the remaining data and a recovery possibility of the deleted record. In this paper, we examined the changes "Page Allocation information" of the table, "Unallocation deleted data", "Row Offset Array" in the page according to "delete", "truncate" and "drop" events. Finally it confirmed the possibility of data recovery and availability of management tools in Microsoft SQL Server digital forensic investigation.
False sharing is a result of co-location of unrelated data in the same unit of memory coherency, and is one source of unnecessary overhead being of no help to keep the memory coherency in multiprocessor systems. Moreover, the damage caused by false sharing becomes large in proportion to the granularity of memory coherency. To reduce false sharing in page-based DSM systems, it is necessary to allocate unrelated data objects that have different access patterns into the separate shared pages. In this paper we propose sized and call-site tracing-based shared memory allocator, shortly SCSTallocator. SCSTallocator places each data object requested from the different call-sites into the separate shared pages, and at the same time places each data object that has different size into different shared pages. Consequently data objects that have the different call-site and different object size prohibited from being allocated to the same shared page. Our observations show that our SCSTallocator outperforms the existing dynamic shared memory allocators. By combining the two existing allocation technique, we can reduce a considerable amount of false sharing misses.

PST stands for the Premium Sales Tool for Product Consulting is customized product catalog system. In other words, the product classification categories of content for consulting and sales to customers by providing useful information for the maximization of an overall system. These problems with mobility and flexibility of updating the solution to integrate mobile with mobile devices, but high-performance high-resolutions era content data continuously, but still it is difficult to handle. In this paper, to solve this problem, depending on the user's gesture by allowing periodic allocation and release of a problem for load generation enhanced by improving the PST system has been designed and implemented. Implementation was a result of the test the performance of the system, that PA system that has been provided by the traditional DA system show the allocation and the average 78% of the rate of decrease the load is released in the frequency of page, CPU utilization was reduced an average 72% I was confirmed.

Recent advancements in mobile apps have led to continuously increasing memory demands on smartphone systems. Unlike desktops, which use swap functions to backup the entire memory footprint to storage when memory space is exhausted, smartphones terminate apps and lose significant context. This occurs because large-scale I/O operations to flash memory cause severe delays when swap is enabled on smartphones. This paper discusses how efficient memory management can be performed by using eMRAM, which is faster in write operations than flash memory, as the swap area in mobile systems. Considering the characteristics of backup storage (i.e., flash memory for the file system and eMRAM for the swap areas) as well as the reference characteristics of each page, we demonstrate that the proposed memory allocation and reclamation policies can improve the smartphone's I/O performance by an average of 15%.

Flash memory has been widely used as an important storage device for consumer electronics. For the flash memory-based storage systems, FTL (Flash Translation Layer) is used to handle the mapping between a logical page address and a physical page address. Especially, log buffer-based FTLs provide a good performance with small-sized mapping information. In designing the log buffer-based FTL, one important factor is to determine the mapping structure between data blocks and log blocks, called associativity. While previous works use static associativity fixed at the design time, we propose a new log block mapping scheme which adjusts associativity based on the run-time workload. Our proposed scheme improves the I/O performance about 5~16% compared to the static scheme by adjusting the associativity to provide the best performance.

GPU computing is emerging in high performance application area since it can easily exploit massive parallelism in a way of cost-effective computing. The power method which finds the eigen vector of a given matrix is widely used in various applications such as PageRank for calculating importance of web pages. In this research we made the power method efficiently parallelized on GPU and also suggested how it can be improved to enhance its performance. The power method mainly consists of matrix-vector product and it can be easily parallelized. However, it should decide the convergence of the eigen vector and need scaling of the vector subsequently. Such operations incur several calls to GPU kernels and data movement between host and GPU memories. We improved the performance of the power method by means of reduced calls to GPU kernels, optimized thread allocation and enhanced decision operation for the convergence.
