온라인 기반의 패키징 IT 서비스를 위한 패키징 디자인 사양 설계 시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of the Packaging Specification Design System Based on Web Online Packaging IT Service)

  • Although the specification of packaging box is one of the most important process to be considered before deciding cost in terms of production and logistics, there are no efficient services in our country at this time as such the making decision only through the empirical knowledge. In this research, we have developed the packaging specification design system based on the web online packaging IT service. The developed system was advanced from the existing-inefficient process of deciding the specification of packaging box, and which can decide the specification of packaging box considering the efficiency of logistics through use of IT based tool. Therefore, this study shows applied cases of normalized packaging process through the obtained packaging design simulation program. The packaging specification design system can provide the simulation and user interface. Those could calculate the specification of packaging box(packaging box size, packaging box quantity, packaging box pattern, packaging compressive strength, packaging cost etc.) considering the efficiency of logistics.

벌크화물용 포장용기의 최적 설계(II)-프로그램 개발 (Optimum Design of Packaging Container for Bulk Materials(II)-Computer Program Development)

  • If optimum design technique is applied in the design of packaging container for bulk materials, merits on the side of not only economic and compression performance but distribution efficiency are expected. In this study, on the ground of the optimum models for required board area and compression strength performance, optimum design program having faculties of outward and inward optimum design and information design was developed. This program was composed of input module, output module, database and management module, and calculation module. Though the packaging specifications ars same, requied board area, board composition and cost of container were greatly different according to exterior packaging conditions. Also, about 12% in weight of container was lighter, and about $13{\sim}17%$ in cost of container was reduced when the program was applied for 2 kinds of bulk materials.

  • New concepts and solutions for the Flexible Food Packaging Design have been demanded to meet the various customer's needs and to compete with other worldwide products. Future-oriented designs beyond the basic functions of preserving and protecting contents can only meet the demands on product's reliability and consumer's satisfaction, specially considering environmental issues. This study is to describe the spiritual values of Korean Flexible Food Packaging Design on the basis of comprehensive understanding and to identify the process of changes and developments. The thesis also forecasts the future of Flexible Food Packaging. Little progress in the Flexible Food Packaging has been made because of the slow response, only to meet the increasing demand without any statistical or theoretical study. On the contrary, Korean Flexible Food Packaging Design has been developed by imitating foreigners' and made mistake of not creating original design reflecting a native traditional culture. This study researches the roles of food-classified flexible packaging to predict the near future trend of packaging industry classifying those into functional, visual, environmental and industrial aspects.

지속 가능한 꽃바구니 디자인 패키징에 관한 연구 (A Study on Sustainable Packaging for Flower Basket Design)

  • 플로리스트 샵에서 판매되는 꽃바구니 디자인의 지속가능한 패키징은 판매자와 구매자의 관점에서 필요하였으며 이에 꽃바구니 디자인의 2차 패키징을 연구하게 되었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 2019년 실시한 설문조사와 2020년 인터뷰 내용을 분석하여 지속가능한 꽃바구니 디자인 패키징 개발 방향을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 꽃바구니 디자인의 개념을 정의하고 오브제인 바구니 유형, 운송수단과 플로리스트 샵 특성 등에 따른 국내의 꽃바구니 디자인 2차 패키징의 현황을 조사하였다. 지속가능한 패키징을 위해서는 물리적 이론 토대 위에 디자인 요소를 포함한 패키징과 운반수단과 최종착지에 따른 2차 패키징이 달라져야 했다. 지속가능한 패키징으로 고려되어야 할 점은 불투명 종이의 재질, 1차 패키징 필요성, 오브제를 고정할 수 있는 패키징 구조와 운송수단에 따른 2차 패키징의 형태였다. 패키징 개발을 위한 방향제안은 1차 패키징의 신소재, 재활용/재사용이 가능한 친환경의 오브제, 구조적 패키징 디자인, 패키징의 규격화와 가변성 있는 패키징과 패키징의 근본적 목적인 꽃상품 보호와 브랜드 광고효과까지를 포함하였다. 본 연구 결과를 기반으로 향후 패키징 디자인을 상품화하고 무인 시스템에 맞는 미래형 화예디자인의 새로운 패키징 디자인과 물류 유형을 연구할 계기가 된 것에 본 연구의 의의가 있다고 하겠다.

Corrugated Board의 최적내형설계 소프트웨어 개발 (Development of a Optimum Inward Design Software for Corrugated Board)

  • Software summarized packaging technology related is needed for low cost and high efficiency in production and packaging design of corrugated board, and in development of these softwares, distribution and packaging environment of one's country must be reflected, well. In domestic occasion, software related to corrugated board packaging dont's exist nearly, and in many industrial fields, the more higher role and importance of packaging in various industrial field is, the more higher necessity of that is. In this study, on the base of preceeding studies (Park, 2001; 2003; 2003), software to optimize board combination that is most importance and sensitivity in composition of cost elements in production and packaging design of corrugated board was developed. This software was composed of input module, output module, database and management module, and calculation module, and efficiency of this software was analyzed on the both sides of sensitivity in design result and effectiveness in a case analyse. In the inward design results having same strength, board combination balance, bursting strength, box weight, and cost were greatly different. Therefore, optimum inward design according to user's design specifications is possible, and in a case analysis for actual products, obtained the more profitable results than before design.

초콜릿 패키지 디자인이 소비자 구매 조건에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Research on the Influence of Chocolate Packaging Design on Consumers' Purchase Conditions)

  • 사회경제의 부단한 진보와 발전에 따라 상품 포장의 중요성은 나날이 현저해지고 있으며, 그것은 이미 사업자와 소비자 사이의 중요한 의사소통 형식이 되어, 사업자 간의 중요한 경쟁 수단이 되었다. 이 논문의 연구범위는: 우선 문헌 조사를 통해 포장설계의 기능과 소비자의 구매 태도를 분석하고 일반 초콜릿 포장과 여행기념품 초콜릿 포장을 대상으로 이름, 색상, 로고, 일러스트 등을 분석·연구했다. 연구방법은: 설문 조사를 통해 패키지 디자인에 대한 소비자의 구매 태도 및 개인의 가치 구현에 따라 소비자의 구매 여력과 패키지 디자인이 구매 조건에 미치는 영향과 연구를 심층적으로 살펴봤다. 본 연구의 결과, 첫째, 일반 초콜릿 포장과 여행기념품 초콜릿 포장부터 소비자 소비 현상까지 보면 일반 초콜릿이 더 선호된다. 둘째, 소비자가 제품을 구매할 때 초콜릿의 맛은 제품 패키지 디자인보다 중요한 속성이다. 셋째, 각 제품군에서 소비자들은 초콜릿 제품을 살 때 자신의 지향적인 가치를 중시한다. 넷째, 패키지 디자인과 맛이라는 두 가지 중요한 속성 아래 일반 초콜릿은 여행기념품 초콜릿보다 구매 의도가 높다.

FEA 시뮬레이션 기법을 이용한 수출용 한국 배 포장 트레이 및 완충패드 최적 포장설계 (Optimum Packaging Design of Packaging Tray and Cushion Pad of Korean Pears for Exporting using FEA Simulation)

  • Among the many packaging materials used in cushion packaging, there is a lack of optimum design for packaging trays and cushion pads used in pear packaging for export and domestic distribution. It causes over-packaging due to excessive material input, and can be solved by applying various parameters needed to optimize the design of the packaging tray and cushion pad considering the packaging material and the number of pears in the box. In the case of a cushion pad for pears, the economic efficiency of material and thickness should be considered. Therefore, it is possible to design a packaging tray and cushion pad depending on eco-friendly packaging materials (PLA, PET) used by applying appropriate design parameters. The static characteristics of the materials used for the packaging of pears were analyzed using FEA (finite element analysis) simulation technique to derive the optimal design parameters. In this study, we analyzed the contact stress and deformation of PET, PLA tray (0.1, 0.5 1.0, 1.5 and 2 mm) and PET foam (2.0, 3 .0 and 4.0 mm) with pears to derive appropriate cushion packaging design factors. The contact stress between the pear and PET foam pad placed on PLA, PET trays were simulated by FEA considering the bioyield strength (192.54±28 kPa) of the pears and safety factor (5) of packaging design, which is the criterion of damage to the pears. For the combination of PET tray and PET foam buffer pad, the thickness of the PET foam is at least 3 mm, the thickness of the PET foam is at least 1.0 mm, the thickness of the foam is at least 2 mm, and if the thickness of the PET tray is at least 1.5 mm, the thickness of the foam is at least 1 mm, suitable for the packaging design. In addition, for the combination of PLA tray and PET foam pad, the thickness of the PET foam was not less than 2 mm if the thickness of the PLA tray was 0.5 mm, and 1 mm or more if the thickness of the PLA tray was not less than 1.0 mm, the thickness of the PET foam was suitable for the packaging design.

벌크화물용 포장용기의 최적 설계(I)-알고리즘 개발 (Optimum Design of Packaging Container for Bulk Materials(I)-Algorithm Development)

  • In optimum design of packaging container for bulk materials, minimum board area, compression performance and distribution efficiency must be considered. In this study, mathematical models for minimum board area (RMA), compression strength (CS) and maximum compression strength per unit board area (MCSA) of container as algorithm for optimum design of packaging conatiner for bulk materials were developed as follows : RMA=f(V,D), ${\alpha}_{RMA}=f(V,D)$, MCSA=f(V,D), and ${\alpha}_{MCSA}=f(V,D)$. In order to develop these models, compression test according to various dimensions of container and response surface analysis for minimum board area, compression strength, and maximum compression strength per unit board area of container were carried out. In developed models, volume and depth of container were principal independent variables. Through the verified results for these models, optimum design of packaging container on the design conditions and limit conditions was possible. These models might be used in developing optimum design software of packaging container for bulk materials.

중국 10대 월병 포장디자인의 소비자 선호도에 대한 연구 (Research on Consumer Preference of Top Ten Mooncake Packaging Design in China)

  • 월병은 아시아의 여러 나라들, 특히 중국 중추절의 중요한 전통 음식이다. 중국의 디자인이 발전하면서, 월병 포장 디자인에 대한 사람들의 관심도 높아지고 있다. CNPP 데이터에 따르면, 2018년 말, 86.17%의 사람들이 월병을 구매한 이유는 포장 디자인 때문이었다. 따라서 본 논문은 월병의 포장 디자인을 중심으로, 월병 포장 디자인에 대한 중국 소비자들의 선호를 분석하고, 월병 포장 디자인에 대해 방향성을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. CNPP의 시장 보고서에 따른 중국 10대 인기 월병 브랜드를 대상으로 선행연구를 진행함으로써 브랜드 로고, 색채, 형태, 재질이라는 4가지 포장 디자인 요소를 도출하였으며 중국 소비자를 대상으로 선호도 설문조사를 진행하였다. 설문 결과에 따라, 월병 포장 디자인 4개 요소 중 소비자들이 가장 선호하는 디자인 유형을 분석해, 중국 월병 포장 디자인에 대한 디자인 방향을 제시했다. 본 논문이 소비자의 선호도를 높이는 월병 포장 디자인의 기초 자료가 되어, 앞으로 구체적인 포장 디자인 방안에 도움이 되기를 기대한다.

포장의 시각적 요소가 소비자의 미각 이미지 판단에 미치는 영향 연구 - 캔 맥주 포장의 색채와 패턴을 중심으로 - (Research on the Influence of Packaging Visual Elements on the Consumers' Taste Image Judgment - Take the colors and patterns of canned beer as an Example -)

  • The visual design elements of packaging play an vital role in attracting consumers' attention, forming their sense of pleasure and sensory expectations, as well as having an important impact on the actual product experience. This study aims to explore whether the colors and textures in the packaging design elements of canned beer will affect consumers' senses, judgments and taste perception of canned beer. Participants in Survey I (N=193) evaluated their expectations for beer freshness, softness, bitterness and alcohol content by observing the packaging of canned beer, then recorded whether they could get the expected experience when tasting beer, and evaluated their preference and purchase intention. In the Survey II, 4 kind of colors and 2 types of texture shapes were applied, and all participants were provided with the same beer for multivariate cross contract analysis to evaluate the specific impact of color and texture of packaging design elements on consumers' taste and the interaction between sensory judgment and taste perception.The results showed that both colors and textures had a significant affect on the sensory expectation (pre-tasting score) of canned beer, but their effects on the sensory score after tasting (actual perception)were inobvious. The analysis of the influence of the interaction between color, texture and shape on taste perception shows that when the expected packaging appearance perception is similar to the actual drinking perception (i.e., straight line and B/G or arc line and Y/R), it is more likely to obtain consumers' favor and higher purchase intention evaluation than the inconsistent canned beer packaging (i.e., straight line and Y/R and arc line and B/G). This paper discusses the influence of these results on the packaging design of canned beer and the possibility of improving the brand efficiency by meeting the visual elements of packaging design expected by consumers.
