The purposes of the paper are to apply the axiomatic design methodology to the design of PBGA package with polyimide coating under hygrothermal loading in the IR soldering process and to suggest more reliable design conditions by stress analysis. The analysis model is a 256-pin perimeter Plastic Ball Grid Array (PBGA) package with the polyimide coating surrounding chip and above surface of BT-substrate. The polyimide coating is suggested to depress the maximum stresses occurred on the stress concentration positions. The axiomatic design methodology is proved to be useful to find the more reliable design conditions for PBGA package. Finally, the optimal values of design variables to depress the stress in the PBGA package are obtained.

Promoting policy to involve plant EPC companies for package deal has been studied to acquire overseas energy resources. The effectiveness of the package deal with the plant EPC companies has not been successful because the participation of the plant EPC companies is very rare. It is difficult for the plant EPC companies to join the package deal due to the lack of the fully responsible organization to support the plant EPC companies participating in a package deal. The followings are suggested as the ways to promote the participation of the plant EPC companies for package deal in this study; 1) financial support of the government for plant EPC companies 2) political support of the government for plant EPC companies 3) specialization of the advanced countries for public-private cooperation.

다수의 공사수행주체가 복잡한 생산프로세스 내에 존재하는 건설산업의 특성상 참여주체간에 발생하는 문제와 공정 간섭은 생산성 저하의 주된 원인이 된다. 이를 해결하기 위해 최근에 '다공종 통합발주방식'이 제안되었고 일부 대형업체를 중심으로 시범 운영되고 있다. 그러나 통합발주는 아직 제안 초기단계로 실질적인 시행을 위해서는 다양한 기초연구가 선행될 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 통합발주를 시행하여 원${\cdot}$하도급업체 모두가 효율성을 증진시킬 수 있는 작업요소를 규명하고자 한다. 이는 건설업 전반에 통합발주의 필요성을 인식시키고, 통합발주 시행 시에 다수의 공종을 통합하는 기준을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Currently, many companies are trying to be more competitive by implementing the most appropriate software package called ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). ERP can support the company's business process. A manufacturing execution system (MES) is an industrial software system, as well as a manufacturing management function in make-to-order and make-to-stock manufacturing environments. This paper presents an architecture of MES. This study develops MES to identify the functional requirements of loading & scheduling in the automobile industry. This study shows the effectiveness of the proposed MES, how to develop MES and interface with ERP package.

Considering the tendency of development of electrification vehicles, development and verification of new evaluation technology is needed because of new technology applications. Recently, as the battery package is set outdoors of an electric vehicle, such vehicles are exposed to corrosive environments. Among major components connected to the battery package, rust prevention of high-voltage cables and connectors is considered the most important issue. For example, if corrosion of high voltage cable connectors occurs, the corrosion durability assessment of using an electric vehicle will be different from general environmental corrosion phenomena. The purpose of this study is to investigate the corrosion mechanism of high voltage cable connectors of an electric vehicle under various driving environments (road surface vibration, corrosion environment, current conduction by stray current, etc.) and develop an optimal rust prevention solution. To improve our parts test method, we have proposed a realistic test method to reproduce actual electric vehicle corrosion issues based on the principle test.

The IMAPRO sotfware package was mainly focused to provide an algorithm which is capable of displaying various color composite images on IBM PC, VGA(Video Graphic Array) card with no special hardware. It displays the false color images using a low-cost eight-bit place refresh buffer. This produces similar quality to the one obtained from image board with three eight-bit plane. Also, it provides user friendly menu driven method for the user who are not familier with technical knowladge of image processing. It may prove useful for universities, institute and private company where expensive hardware is not available.

K 회사는 국내외 반도체 제조업체의 주문에 의해 반도체 패키지 제품을 생산 공급하는 기업이다. 생산 공정은 Die Sawing, 조립, 테스트로 구성된 기계중심의 조립라인 형태를 따르고 있다. 본 논문은 K 회사의 공정분석을 토대로 패키지 공정의 생산량을 늘리기 위한 3가지 방안을 제안하고, 이들을 실제 자료를 이용한 시뮬레이션 모델을 통해 평가하는 사례연구를 다룬다. 3가지 방안은 병목공정에 기계 추가에 의한 라인균형, 제품의 그룹 스케쥴링, 비병목공정에서 작업자의 재배치이다. 시뮬레이션 평가결과, 3가지 방안을 혼합 적용하는 경우에 2.8%의 납기위반율 감소 효과와 함께 17.3%의 가장 높은 일일 생산량 증가를 보여 주는 것으로 나타났다. 3가지 방안의 혼합 적용하는 경우의 투자회수기간은 1.37년으로 매우 짧게 구해졌다.
