전류형 PWM 인버터에 의한 고조파 저감에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Reduction of harmonics by Current type PWM - Inverter)

  • It is known that the reactive component of AC power in the Power system gives no energy to outside and causes enlargement of power apparatus, voltage fluctuation and unstability of power system. The power conversion system and control system which are composed of power semiconductor devices such as Thyrisor, transistor, GTO and so on have been appeared as new sources of Harmonics. So the reduction of harmonics in power semiconductor system is one of impending problems on the point of energy conservation and improvement of power factor. This paper treates the fundamental review of the harmonics reduction by Current type PWM-Inverter. This Inverter-detects not only the fundamental wave but also that of all harmonics created in the power semiconductor system and is scheduled to control by sampled value.

ATmega128를 이용한 LED 조명 제어보드 구성

  • 본 논문은 LED 조명 환경에서 LED 조명 제어보드를 구성하고자 하였다. LED 조명 제어보드는 주변 밝기의 변화에 따라 LED 조명의 밝기를 제어하도록 하였으며, 본 논문에서 구성된 LED 조명 제어보드는 8bit 마이크로컨트롤러인 ATmega128을 사용하여 제어 하도록 구성 하였다. LED 제어는 주변 밝기에 따른 CdS 출력값을 입력받아 ADC값을 결정하며, 결정된 ADC값은 LED 드라이버로 입력할 PWM 파형을 결정하게 된다. 이렇게 결정된 PWM 파형에 의해서 LED 조명의 밝기 제어가 가능하도록 하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 포워드형 3상 PWM 정류기를 이용한 새로운 DC 48[V] 통신용 전원시스템을 제안하여 역률과 효율, 리플 전압의 개선에 관하여 서술하였다. 제안된 DC 48[V] 통신용 전원시스템은 각 선간에 스위치와 인덕터 그리고 콘덴서가 조합된 전력변환장치로 구성되며, 전력변환장치내의 각 스위치의 턴-온시 제어 주기내의 도통시간을 조정하여 역률 1의 정현파 전류를 얻었다. 그리고 일반적인 PWM 정류기를 포워드 형태의 PWM 정류기로 구성함으로써 스위치의 온-오프시 발생되는 피크 전류를 작게 하여 변환 효율 92.1[%]을 얻었다. 또한 고조파 입력전류 규제값(IEC61000-3-2 Class-A)을 만족하는 입력 전류를 가지며, 3상 전원의 왜곡이 중첩되는 상태에서도 출력 전압의 맥동성분을 저감시켰다.

  • This paper proposes a improvement of switching converter's input wave form using VIENNA Rectifier(three-phase three-switch three-level PWM Rectifier). VIENNA Rectifier is based on the combination of a three-phase diode bridge and dc/dc boost converter. It can be available to get sinusoidal mains current, and low-blocking voltage stress on rower transistors. In addition, it can control output voltage.

  • 본 논문은 사각형 파형(Square wave) PWM 방식을 사용한 3상 양방향 그리드 연결 컨버터에서 사용할 수 있는 제어 방법을 제안하였다. 사각형 파형 드라이브 방식은 정현파 파형 방식보다 스위칭 손실이 작은 장점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 사각형 파형 방식으로 양방향 그리드 컨버터 회로 구성과 스위칭 패턴을 설명하고 입력 전압 동기화할 때 유의 사항을 분석하였다. Psim 시뮬레이션을 통하여 양방향 컨버터 기능의 유효성을 확인하였다.

  • In this paper, a DC smoothing filterless soft switching pulse modulated high frequency AC power conversion circuit connected to utility. frequency AC power source is proposed for consumer induction heating hot water producer, steamer and super heated steamer. The operating principle of DC link filterless utility frequency AC-high frequency AC (HF AC) power conversion circuit defined as high frequency cycloinverter is described, which can operate under a principle of ZVS/AVT and power regulation based on alternate asymmetrical PWM in synchronization with the utility frequency single phase AC positive or negative half wave voltage. The dual mode modulation control scheme based on high frequency PWM and commercial frequency AC voltage PDM for the proposed high frequency cycloinverter are discussed to enlarge its soft switching commutation operating range for wide HF AC power regulation. This high frequency cycloinverter is developed for high frequency IH Dual Packs Heater (DPH) type boiler used in consumer and industrial fluid pipeline systems. Based on the experiment and simulation results, this high frequency cycloinverter is proved to be suitable for the consumer use IH-DPH boiler and hot water producers. The cycloinverter power regulation and power conversion efficiency characteristics are evaluated and discussed.

BF 컨버터의 역률 개선에 관한 연구 (A study on the power factor improvement of the Boost Forward Converter)

  • 본 논문에서는 BF 컨버터의 Active PFC 시스템을 구성하고, 전력 변환시 입력 전류를 전원 전압과 동상인 정현파로 제어하며 직류 출력 전압을 제어하기 위한 PWM-PFM 제어 기법을 사용하여 역률을 개선하였다. FET와 IGBT를 이용하여 본 논문에서 제시한 Boost 컨버터와 인버터 회로를 구성하였고, 제안된 Boost 컨버터의 제어 회로는 마이크로프로세서 80C196으로 구성하였다. 또한 입력 전압이 30V이고, Boost 인덕터가 1.1 mH일 때 정격 출력은 전압 50V, 전류 IA, 듀티비 (Duty Ratio) 0.5 이상으로 하였다. 부하 저항의 변화에 따른 전압 변화를 PWM-PFM 제어 기법을 이용하여 제어하였고, 전류 성형 기법을 이용하여 역률이 0.96 가지 개선됨을 실험으로써 입증하였다.

  • This paper presents a novel type soft switching PWM power frequency AC-AC converter using bidirectional active switches or single phase utility frequency AC-high frequency AC matrix converter. This converter can directly convert utility frequency AC (UFAC, 50Hz/60Hz) power to high frequency AC (HFAC) power ranging more than 20kHz up to 100kHz. A novel soft switching PWM prototype of high frequency multi-resonant PWM controlled UFAC-HFAC matrix converter using antiparallel one-chip reverse blocking IGBTs manufactured by IXYS corp. is based on the soft switching resonance with asymmetrical duty cycle PWM strategy. This single phase UFAC-HFAC matrix converter has some remarkable features as electrolytic capacitor DC busline linkless topology, unity power factor correction and sine-wave line current shaping, simple configuration with minimum circuit components, high efficiency and downsizing. This series load resonant UFAC-HFAC matrix converter, incorporating bidirectional active power switches is developed and implemented for high efficiency consumer induction heated food cooking appliances in home uses and business-uses. Its operating performances as soft switching operating ranges and high frequency effective power regulation characteristics are illustrated and discussed on the basis of simulation and experimental results.

왈쉬급수를 사용한 새로운 고조파 제거 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on New Harmonic Elimination Method Using Walsh Series)

  • In the variable speed driving system of a three phase induction motor controlled by a PWM inverter, the output terminal contains considerable amount of harmonic components of the voltage waveform due to the switching action of semiconductor devices, causing torque ripples, acoustic noise and oscillation of the motor. This paper describes a new algorithm which eliminates the harmonics and controls the fundamental voltage in three phase PWM inverter output waveform. The new algorithm utilizes the technique of particular harmonics elimination (PHE) by walsh series in three phase PWM inverter output waveform. A microprocessor (8086 CPU)-controlled three phase induction motor system is described to realize this algorithm. The system is designed for 3 phase output voltage in the 1-60Hz interval where 5th and 7th harmonics, and 5th, 7th, 11th, and 13th harmonics are eliminated. Also, the fundamental wave amplitude is designed to be proportional to the output frequency. The performance of the proposed method shows sufficient elimination of the harmonics and also reduction of computation time which determines switching pattern. The proposed PWM pattern by Walsh series, is effective not only to induction motors but also to other electromagetic equipments such as voltage regulators and UPS.

구형파 및 PWM 인버터 조합에 의한 오존발생용 인버터 (The Invert for ozone generator by mixed square_wave and PWM)

  • Ozone gas is one of the strongest oxidizing and bleaching agents which leave no residues harmful to the global environment. In recent years, the ozone generator has been widely utilized, However, it has been known that a broader application of ozone is hindered primarily because of its low efficiency of generation. Thus, it is more indispensable to improve actual system efficiency of the silent discharge type ozonizer using high frequency inverter. This paper presents a multi level resonant ozone power regulation by association of high frequency transformers and full bridge invert. And proposed resonant inverter system can generate continuous output voltage. can control linearly quantity of ozone gas. This invert that add PWM forms within square forms of output voltage about one level range. The power regulation characteristics and operating performances of silent discharge (SD)type ozone generating tube load driven by this load proposed inverter using FET modules are illustrated from a practical point of view, which can operate under stable conditions of basic level and PWM hybrid control strategy implemented DSP(2406). The effectoveness of propsed invert type ozonizer is proved by experiment results.
