Comparison of Harmonic Compensation Based on Wound/Squirrel-Cage Rotor Type Induction Motors With Flywheel (플라이휠을 장착한 농형/권선형 전동기를 이용한 두 고조파 보상 시스템의 비교)

  • This paper describes two different systems which can compensate harmonic currents generated in the power system. As non-linear loads increase gradually in industry fields, harmonic current generated in the electric power network system also increases. Harmonic current makes a power network current distorted and generates heat, vibration, noise in the power machinery. Many approaches have been applied to compensate harmonic currents generated in the power network system. Among various approaches, in this paper, two kinds of approaches are compared and evaluated. They are flywheel compensator based on secondary excitation of wounded rotor induction motor(WRIM) and primary excitation of squirrel cage induction motor(SCIM). Both systems have a common structure. They use a flywheel as a energy storage device and use PWM inverters.

  • This paper presents a digital control solution to process capacitor current feedback of high performance single-phase UPS for non-linear loads. In all UPS the goal is to maintain the desired output voltage waveform and RMS value over all unknown load conditions and transient response. The proposed UPS uses instantaneous load voltage and filter capacitor current feedback, which is based on the double regulation loop such as the outer voltage control loop and inner current control loop. The proposed DSP-based digital-controlled PWM inverter system has fast dynamic response and low total harmonic distortion (THD) for nonlinear load. The control system was implemented on a 32bit Floating-point DSP controller TMS320C32 and tested on a 5[KVA] IGBT based inverter switching at 11[Khz]. The validity of the proposed scheme is investigated through simulation and experimental results.

  • This paper deals with a novel full digital control method of the three-phase PWM inverter for UPS. The voltage and current of output filter capacitor as state variables are the feedback control input. In addition, a double deadbeat control consisting of a d-q current minor loop and a d-q voltage major loop, both with precise decoupling, have been developed. The switching pulse width modulation based on SVM is adopted so that the capacitor current should be exactly equal to its reference current. In order to compensate the calculation time delay, the predictive control is achieved by the current·voltage observer. The load prediction is used to compensate the load disturbance by disturbance observer with deadbeat response. The experimental results show that the proposed system offers an output voltage with THD less than 2% at a full nonlinear load.

  • In this paper, the development of the LF power supply for dry scrubber is discussed. 1500kW, 100kHz LF power supply is designed and tested. The main power stage is used for the FB PWM inverter with an LC filter in the secondary circuit. The operation characteristics of LF power supply are verified by simulation and experimental results.

  • In this paper, we designed the circuit of drive control for towing winch. It is composed of reference voltage circuit for driving voltage reference, low pass filter circuit for noise reduction, dead zone circuit for initial transient input, and driving circuit for drum direction/velocity control. Also it is realized a drive control circuit for towing winch drum in accordance with PWM(pulse width modulation) method to suit it's purpose of a large capacity driving system. The performance of the designed circuit is analyzed by experiments and the appliablity for driving the towing winch drum satisfactorily is evaluated through a various testing.

  • NPC 인버터는 높은 효율과 우수한 출력 THD로 계통연계 시스템에 많이 채용되고 있다. 이때 LCL필터는 계통연계 기준을 만족하면서 가격과 부피측면을 고려하여 인덕턴스와 캐패시턴스는 가능한 작게 설계하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 계통연계형 NPC 인버터에서 PWM기법을 고려하여 계통전류의 고조파 기준을 만족하면서 설계자가 독립부하 전압리플, 인덕터 부피, 무효전류량, 시스템 대역폭에 가중치를 적용할 수 있는 LCL필터 최적설계 방법을 제안한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 삼중 델타 전원과 새로운 커먼-모드 필터 결선을 통해 스위칭에 의한 고조파를 저감하는 방법을 제안한다. PWM에 의해 생성되는 측대파 고조파(Sideband harmonics) 위상을 분석함으로써, 인터리빙 운전 시 삼중 델타 전원 연결과 제안된 커먼모드 필터가 측대파 고조파 전류를 크게 저감할 수 있음을 보인다. 3개의 고정자 권선을 가지는 영구자석 전동기를 이용하여 제안된 필터의 유효성을 검증하였다.

  • In this paper, an improved dead time compensation method which is concerned about dead time and extra time in Pulse-Width-Modulation(PWM) period is presented comparing the existing dead time compensation. The voltage drop across the switches are modeled excluding effect of stray capacitor. A low pass filter(LPF) is adopted for accurate detecting of current polarity. The method is based on Space-Vector-Pulse-Width-Modulation(SVPWM). All simulation results are presented using MATLAB and Simulink.

  • In this paper a driving method using the microcomputer in safe driving the axial type double rotor brushless DC motor without shaft position sensor is studied. The rotor position is determined from the back-EMF passed though special filter. Starting technique which uses the motor as a synchronous motor at standstill are explained. The motor speed is controlled by changing the duty cycle of PWM. The test motor has Y-connected three-phase stator and 8-pole axial type double rotor. From the experiments, we got good performences of the proposed control system.

  • 계통 연계형 인버터에서는 고조파 전류를 저감하기 위하여 필터가 필요하다. 이러한 고조파 저감을 위하여 LCL 필터나 LCL 필터의 커패시터 단에 직렬로 L을 추가한 직렬 공진을 이용한 LLCL 필터가 있다. 이러한 필터들은 특정 주파수 대역의 고조파를 효과적으로 제거할 수 있으며 기존의 L 필터보다 용량이 줄어든다. 본 논문에서는 단상 멀티 레벨 컨버터의 PWM 주파수 성분의 고조파 저감 효과를 갖는 L, LLCL 필터를 설계하고 비교한다.
