The Design and Implementation of 3[kW] Sollar Cell PWM Inverter (3[kW]급 태양광 인버터의 설계 및 구현)

  • 석유를 포함한 자원고갈과 지구온난화와 같은 환경문제로 인하여 자연에너지를 이용한 소규모 태양광발전이 각광을 받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 web상에서 모니터링이 가능한 3[kW]급 태양광 발전 인버터의 설계 및 구현방법을 제시한다. 설계된 인버터는 독립형이며, Boost Converter를 이용하여 350[Vdc]를 400[Vdc]로 승압한 이후 SPWM 방식을 이용하여 교류 파형을 얻어낸다. LC 필터를 통과한 출력파형은 실효치 220[Vac], 주파수는 60[Hz]의 상용전원이고, THD는 5% 이하이다. 또한 350[Vdc]의 10% 레벨에서는 Boost Converter의 Duty를 자동 조정하여 출력단의 전압을 400[Vdc]로 유지할 수 있는 기능을 포함한다. 또한, 출력단의 전압과 전류를 센싱한 후, PC에서의 모니터링 시스템을 구축하였다. 이를 통해 인버터에 포함된 PC를 서버로 활용하여, LAN이 가능한 곳에서는 인버터의 상태와 발전량을 알 수 있다.

  • A novel flux-weakening scheme for the Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) is proposed. This is implemented based on the output of the synchronous PI current regulator-reference voltage to the PWM inverter. Attractive features of this flux weakening scheme include no dependency on the machine parameters, the guarantee of current regulation at any operating condition, and smooth and fast transition into and out of the flux weakening mode without a discontinuity. Experimental results are presented to verify the feasibility of the proposed control scheme.

An Overmodulation Strategy for SVPWM Inverter (SVPWM인버터의 과변조 기법)

  • This paper proposes an overmodulation strategy for space-vector PWM(SVPWM). The overmodulation strategy increases a fundamental output voltage and improves a voltage utilization up to the maximum in the overmodulation region. To maintain a linearity of the relation between a reference voltage and a fundamental output voltage, this paper suggests a compensation voltage, whose magnitude or phase is modified to the proposed control scheme. The practical implementation is simple and it is applied to improve an output voltage of SVPWM controlled AC Motor in the steady-state. The characteristic of the proposed strategy is confirmed by simulations and experiments for a V/F control of a induction motor.

  • DC electrolytic capacitor is widely used in the power converter including PWM inverter, switching power supply and PFC Boost converter system because of its large capacitance, small size and low cost. In this paper, basic characteristics of DC electrolytic capacitor vs. frequency is presented and the real-time estimation scheme of ESR and capacitance based on the bandpass filtering is adopted to the single phase boost converter of uninterruptible power supply to diagnose its split dc-link capacitors. The feasibility of this real-time failure prediction monitoring system is verified by the computer simulation of the 5[kW] singe phase PFC half-bridge boost converter.

  • In this paper, the PWM inverter-motor drive system including sensor is controlled through the network. The algorithm to compensate for the time delay of ac current and ac voltage sensors due to the network is proposed. The delay time of sensors is kept nearly constant, using the synchronous signal and timers. The error between the real and estimated ac signals can be reduced by using two slopes for estimating the value of at signals. The proposed algorithms are verified with the simulation studies and experiments.

  • A new fault-tolerant control topology for open-loop motor-drive systems with Delta-connected stator windings is introduced in this paper. This new control topology enables the operation of a three-phase induction machine as a two-phase machine fed by a three-phase inverter upon a failure in one of the motor phases. This topology utilizes the "open-Delta" configuration to independently control the current in each of the two remaining healthy phases. This new control technique leads to the alleviation of any torque pulsations resulting from the consequences of the asymmetrical conditions associated with this class of faults.

  • 최근 계속되는 유가 상승과 화석에너지의 고갈 문제, 그리고 환경에 대한 관심 증가로 인해 자동차의 연비 개선 및 배기가스 저감을 위한 친환경 자동차 기술로 전기자동차에 대한 연구 활동이 활발하게 진행 중이다. 전기자동차에서 동력을 발생시키는 대용량 전동기는 큰 토크 발생에 필요한 전류를 받아들이기 위하여 내부적으로 이중 권선을 갖도록 구성되어 있고, 인버터 전력소자는 대용량 소자를 사용하거나 병렬로 구성하여 전동기 1상의 전류를 감당하도록 되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 전동기의 이중 권선에 인버터의 전력회로를 병렬로 구성하여 6선 3상으로 연결함으로써 전동기에 인가되는 인버터의 PWM 스위칭 주파수를 기존보다 낮게 사용하더라도 스위칭 소음, 전류의 맥동 및 손실을 줄일 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다.

  • In this paper, we adapted BLDC motor to PV water pumping systems to maintain high efficiency in the wide speed area. Also, to design confidence we adapted the vector control that drive the maximum torque at each speed limit. We designed optimal gain value of current, speed and pressure PI controller. Inverter gate pulse used Space Vector PWM to reduce torque pulsation of BLDC motor. According to, it was improve general matters of high water storage tank method by direct water supply pumping method.

  • Voltage sag and swell are the most severe factors affecting power quality in distribution systems. This paper discusses an approach to ensure a high quality power supply to critical loads appling voltage-sag compensator. The proposed system consists of a PWM voltage source inverter, connected in series with the line through a single-phase transformer. The operation Principle and Power circuit configuration of the proposed voltage sag compensator are introduced. And then the transfer function of compensator is derived from simplified single phase power circuit, and simulated so that the benefits of this proposed compensator is confirmed through the open loop response.
