  • The study on the multi-level inverter has been increasingly progressing to reduce the switching loss and improve the THD of output current in photovoltaic inverter. Recently, the main topics of multi-level inverter are to reduce the number of devices maintaining the power quality. Therefore, the novel topology was proposed for these problem which is composed of the isolated H-bridge multi-level inverter using the three phase low frequency transformer. The proposed multi-level inverter may not be need for a independent DC power, diode and capacitor. Specially, It has a advantage in generating high voltage source. The proposed approach is verified through simulation and experiment.

  • The Photovoltaic(PV) generation system is a promising source of energy for the future. Since the need for renewable energy has been increased, the research of PV generation system has also been progressed. The main subject of this paper is about making the more useful real-time monitoring program to get and save the data from photovoltaic generation system of 30kW grid-connected. Therefore, it uses LabView for this real-time monitoring program.

  • Solar cell converts sunlight into the electricity that one of the most versatile forms of energy. It has been developed and applied on residental electric power system by urbanized countries as a alternative energy source to overcome energy problem after oil shock. This paper summarizes the results of these efforts by offering a snapshot of the configuration of photovoltaic in residential applications. The status of PV system components and inter-connection and safety equipment will be summarized. Hence this paper discusses only points that might be useful for application.

  • This paper deals with stand-alone Photovoltaic system(SPVS) with charge and discharge controller. Main power source of SPVS are generally solar cell and battery. therefore SPVS can be classified into variable types in accordance with connection type between battery and solar cell. Mainly used one of them is direct connection type which has advantages such as simple structure and simple controller. However most big drawback of this system is energy loss by voltage disharmony between solar cell and battery. Therefore SPVS with charge and discharge controller which can operate solar cell at maximum power point is designed and analyzed by simulation in this paper.

  • Solar cells are renewable energy source which is not only environmentally friendly but also economically viable. For that matter, thin film materials are in observed with great in terest by a number of sources throughout the nations. Among these, CdTe (Cadium telluride) and CIS (copper indium diselenide) are the latest commercial products that are gathering attention in the solar cells markets. However there are some downsides to this newly invention. Since the materials are embedded, in the occasion of damage, certain amount of module residue can be released to water or soil. This paper outlines the results of our outdoor leaching experiments on photovoltaic (PV) samples broken into small fragments and been observed for 1 year.

  • PV model is presented based on the shockley diode equation. The simple model has a photo-current source, an single diode junction and a series resistance and includes temperature dependences. An accurate PV module electrical model is presented, matching with boost converter MPPT strategy and demosntarted in Matlab for a typical general purpose solar cell. Given solar insolation and temperature, the model returns current vector and MPP.

  • Nowadays, the LCL-filter type becomes an attractive grid interfacing for grid-connected Voltage Source Inverter (VSI). LCL-filter can render the current harmonics attenuation around the switching frequency by using smaller inductance than L-filter. This paper presents a study about the LCL-filter design for single-phase grid-connected inverter in Photovoltaic (PV) system. According to the expected current ripple, the inductances of the filter can be determined. Based on the absorbed reactive power on capacitor, the capacitance can be calculated. Due to the theoretical analysis, a LCL-filter based single phase grid connected inverter control system are simulated. The studied simulation results are given to validate the theoretical analysis.

  • This paper presents a new adaptive converter control approach for electric motor systems whose voltage source is excited from photovoltaic (PV) power generators. First, an electric model is represented with dynamic states and output velocity of such DC motor systems. We propose a hybrid converter control law in which a state feedback control is applied as an auxiliary control framework. Moreover, control parameter estimation is derived to realize adaptive converter systems for effective control performance against stochastic PV power excitation in practice. We carry out stability analysis for such converter system by using a well-known eigenvalue theory. Lastly, numerical simulation is conducted to test reliability of the proposed converter control approach and prove its superiority in the control point of view.
