중선량 감마선 조사가 전분류의 색도 및 지방질 산화에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Medium Dose of Gamma Irradiation on Color and Lipid Oxidation of Starches)

  • 가공식품의 소재로 폭넓게 사용되고 있는 전분은 세균수 억제를 위한 방사선 조사가 허용된 품목으로서 우리나라에서는 5 kGy 이하의 기준을 적용하고 있다. 이에 식품조사의 실용화를 고려하여 국내 허용기준과 유사한 중선량 범위의 감마선 조사가 전분류의 색깔 및 지방질 산패에 미치는 영향을 검토하고자 옥수수 전분, 고구마 전분 및 감자 전분에 0~6 kGy의 감마선을 조사하여 색도 및 TBA가를 비교 분석하였다. 기계적 색도의 경우 옥수수 전분은 L 값의 감소, 고구마 전분은 a 값의 증가, 감자전분은 b 값의 증가가 비교적 뚜렷하였지만, 전반적으로 감마선 조사에 따른 L, a, b 값의 변화가 작고 유의성이 낮은 것으로 확인되었다. 전분의 가공특성을 고려하여 호화 후 gel 상태의 색깔을 육안으로 관찰한 결과는 모든 시료가 조사선량이 증가할수록 갈변의 정도가 증가하였고, 특히 고구마 전분은 1.5 kGy 조사구도 갈변현상이 뚜렷하였다. 지방질의 산패도를 나타내는 TBA가 측정 결과는 옥수수 전분, 고구마 전분 및 감자 전분에 대해 각각 $R^2$가 0.9889, 0.9964 및 0.9843의 높은 상관성을 보이면서 유의적으로 증가하여 감마선 조사로 인해 지방질 성분의 산화가 촉진되었음을 알 수 있었다.

  • 현재의 산업기술은 날이 갈수록 발달하고 있고, 따라서 기술은 더 이상 생산기업들 간의 유일한 경쟁 요소가 아니게 되었다. 본 논문은 하이얼 세탁기의 성공사례의 연구를 통해서 하이얼 세탁기의 디자인 전략의 구체적 방법을 찾아보았다. 이와 동시에 하이얼 세탁기와 지멘스, 리틀스완 세탁기의 4PS의 비교분석을 통해서, 하이얼의 디자인 전략에 있어서 경쟁 회사들과 어떠한 차이점이 있는지 연구하였다. 그렇게 함으로써 어떻게 기업의 디자인 전략을 체계적으로 분석하는가에 대한 방법 및 어떻게 성공적인 디자인 전략을 수립할 수 있는지에 대한 분석 프레임과 연구방법을 제공하고자 한다.

  • Nowadays, there are many companies which employ the SQI measurement to assess service quality. The purpose of this study is to measure the service efficiency for Bank Industry. In this paper, we tried to measure the efficiency of service quality and overall customer satisfaction by using Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA). Rather than using the usual method of converting the Service Quality Index(SQI) into mean value, we applied CCR/BCC models in DEA to service quality efficiency. Also, DEA/PS Model is recommended as appropriate model for evaluating service efficiency by complementing the shortfalls of the weighted value of DEA Model. In this study, six dimensions of service quality were considered as input variables and output variables(overall customer satisfaction, reusing intention, and word of mouth). The result of this study statistically verifies that 5 DMUs are relatively efficient, and intensive activities for service efficiency are needed for 20 sample branches. Managerial implications based on the analysis were suggested.

Photoluminescence Studies of ZnO Thin Films on Porous Silicon Grown by Plasma-Assisted Molecular Beam Epitaxy

  • ZnO thin films were grown on porous silicon (PS) by plasma-assisted molecular beam epitaxy (PA-MBE). The optical properties of the ZnO thin films grown on PS were studied using room-temperature, low-temperature, and temperature-dependent photoluminescence (PL). The full width at half maximum (FWHM) of the near-band-edge emission (NBE) from the ZnO thin films was 98 meV, which was much smaller than that of ZnO thin films grown on a Si substrate. This value was even smaller than that of ZnO thin films grown on a sapphire substrate. The Huang-Rhys factor S associated with the free exciton (FX) emission from the ZnO thin films was found to be 0.124. The Eg(0) value obtained from the fitting was 3.37 eV, with ${\alpha}=3.3{\times}10^{-2}eV/K$ and ${\beta}=8.6{\times}10^3K$. The low- and high-temperature activation energies were 9 and 28 meV, respectively. The exciton radiative lifetime of the ZnO thin films showed a non-linear behavior, which was established using a quadratic equation.

백라이트 유니트 구성요소가 TFT-LCD TV용 광확산필름의 전기, 광학적 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of BLU Ingredient on Electrical and Optical Properties of Light Diffusing Film used for TFT-LCD TV)

  • TFT-LCD TV용 백라이트 유니트(BLU)의 각 구성성분이 최종 광확산필름의 물리적, 전기적, 열적, 광학적 특성에 미치는 영향에 관하여 고찰하였다. 블로킹 방지층에 있어서는 $6{\mu}m$의 아크릴 비드를 0.5~1.5 wt%로 첨가했을 때 블로킹 방지성이 우수하였고, 4급 암모니움 염을 0.8 wt%로 첨가하였을 경우 Decay-Time 및 수분에 대한 안정성이 가장 우수한 결과를 나타내었다. 광확산층에 있어서는 아크릴 폴리올을 바인더 수지로서 사용하고, 무황변 타입의 HDI계 경화제를 바인더 수지에 대해 30~35 wt%로 첨가하였을 경우가 PET 필름 표면상에의 접착력, 경화속도 및 유연성 측면에서 가장 우수한 결과를 보였다. 또한 $20{\mu}m$의 다분산형 폴리스티렌($20{\mu}m$ PS) 및 폴리메틸메타크릴레이트($20{\mu}m$ PMMA) 비드를 바인더 수지 대비 250 wt%로 첨가하였을 경우에 가장 높은 법선휘도값을 얻을 수 있었으며, PS 입자를 사용했을 경우보다는 PMMA 입자를 사용했을 경우가 투과율 차이로 인해 더 높은 법선휘도값을 나타내었다.

The investigation of a new fast timing system based on DRS4 waveform sampling system

  • In the study of nuclear structure, the fast timing technique can be used to measure the lifetime of excited states. In the paper, we have developed a new fast timing system, which is made up of two $LaBr_3:Ce$ detectors and a set of waveform sampling system. The sampling system based on domino ring sampler version 4 chip (DRS4) can digitize and store the waveform information of detector signal, with a smaller volume and higher timing accuracy, and the waveform data are performed by means of digital waveform analysis methods. The coincidence time resolution of the fast timing system for two annihilation 511 keV ${\gamma}$ photon is 200ps (FWHM), the energy resolution is 3.5%@511 keV, and the energy linear response in the large dynamic range is perfect. Meanwhile, to verify the fast timing performance of the system, the $^{152}Gd-2_1^+$ state form ${\beta}^+$ decay of $^{152}Eu$ source is measured. The measured lifetime is $45.3({\pm}5.0)ps$, very close to the value of the National Nuclear Data Center (NNDC: $46.2({\pm}3.9)ps$). The experimental results indicate that the fast timing system is capable of measuring the lifetime of dozens of ps. Therefore, the system can be widely used in the research of the fast timing technology.

실행공동체를 위한 지식관리시스템에서의 퍼지기반 신뢰도 측정 (Fuzzy-based Trust Measurement for CoPs in Knowledge Management Systems)

  • The importance of communities of practice(CoP) as an organizational informal unit for fostering knowledge transfer and sharing gains a lot of attention from KM researchers and practitioners. Since most of CoPs are formulated online these days, the credibility or trustworthiness of knowledge contents circulated within a certain CoP should be considered thoroughly for them to be fully utilized safely. Here comes the need for an appropriate trust measuring methodology to determine the true value of knowledge given by unknown people through an online channel. In this paper, an improved trust measuring method is proposed using new trust variables such as level of degrees derived from the relationships among community users. In addition, activeness, relevance, and usefulness of the knowledge contents themselves, which are calculated automatically using a text categorization technique, are also used for trust measurement. The proposed framework incorporates fuzzy set and calculation concepts to help build trust matrices and models, which are used to measure the level of trust involved in specific knowledge artifacts concerned.

  • Molecular motion at the surface of monodisperse polystyrene (PS) films with various chain end groups was studied by scanning probe microscopy. Surface glass transition temperature ($T_{g^s}$) of the PS films was much lower than the corresponding bulk value. And, the magnitude of $T_{g^s}$ was strongly dependent on chain end chemistry. This result can be explained in terms of the chain end concentration at the surface. Time-temperature superposition principle was applied to rheological analysis at the surface. The apparent activation energy of the surface ${\alpha}_{a}$-relaxation process was approximately a half of that for the bulk sample. This result clearly indicates that the cooperativity for the surface segmental motion was reduced in comparison with that in the bulk region.

  • Derived was the scalar wave equation of optical fibers. Based on the derived equation, the dispersion characteristics of arbitrarily profiled fibers were analyzed. We applied the 1-D FEM employing quadratic interpolation fucntions to solve the scalar wave equation. To find the optimum index distribution of a fiber that has the ultra-low total dispersion, we analyzed QC fibers as objects. Adding 2$_{nd}$ and 3$_{rd}$ clads to DC fiber, we investigated the change of dispersion characteristics. We found the QC fiber parameters for which the dispersion was ultra-low flattened, less than 0.5 ps/km.nm for ${\lambda}=1.4~1.6{\mu}m$, and the dispersion value was as low as 0.20 ps/km.nm at ${\lambda}=1.55{\mu}m$.

Characterization of Surface Modified Polysulfone Membranes with Various Fluorine Chemicals

  • The surface of polysulfone membranes has been modified using the fluorine chemicals, ITFE (2-iodo-1,1,1-trifluoro-ethane F.W.=209.94) and PFPI (1H,1H-pentafluoro-n-propyl iodide F.W.=259.95), and PFI (1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorohexyl iodide, F.W.=373.99) based on Friedel-Crafts reaction mechanism with varying reaction temperatures, reaction time, and catalysis types. The resulting membranes were characterized through mainly the contact angle measurement and pure water permeability. The smaller reactant shows the larger contact angles. FeBr$_3$ catalyst is more effective than AlCl$_3$. Typically, the PS film treated with ITFE at $25^{\circ}C$ under FeBr$_3$ catalyst showed the contact angle 78.5$^{\circ}C$ which indicated 10% over the value of unreacted PS films. More than 50% of pure water flux 8.0 g/$m^2$hr, reduced at reaction time 10 min relative to the original flux, 3.49 g/$m^2$hr.
