경피전달을 위한 커큐민 젤의 창상치유효과 (Wound Healing Effect of Curcumin Gel for Transdermal Delivery)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 curcumin 함유 젤을 쥐의 손상된 등부위 조직에 적용하여 경피전달에 따른 창상치유 효과를 관찰하였다. 카보머 934와 프로필렌글리콜을 이용하여 curcumin 함량이 1%인 젤을 제조하였다. Curcumin 자체의 항산화능과 함유 젤의 세포독성, 항염증의 효과를 평가하였다. 1,1-Diphenyl-2-picryl hydrazyl(DPPH)로 관찰한 자유라디칼 소거능은 12.5 ppm 농도에서 50% 저해능을 관찰하였다. Curcumin 젤은 RAW 264.7 세포에서 lipopolysaccharide(LPS)로 유도한 nitric oxide(NO) 생성이 억제되는 것을 확인했다. In vivo 동물실험에서 curcumin 젤의 처치그룹이 curcumin이 함유되지 않은 젤과 비교했을 때 창상 부위의 재 상피화의 경향이 확연히 증가된 것을 실험기간 동안 관찰할 수 있었다. 이 연구는 결과적으로 curcumin 젤은 상처치료의 증진을 도와주는 것을 알 수 있었다.

PVP-기반 유기 절연막 형성과 OTFT 제작 (Formation of PVP- Based Organic Insulating Layers and Fabrication of OTFTs)

  • The formation and processing of organic insulators on the device performance have been studied in the fabrication of organic thin film transistors (OTFTs). The series of polyvinyls, poly-4-vinyl phenol(PVP) and polyvinyltoluene (PVT), were used as solutes and propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate(PGMEA) as a solvent in the formation of organic insulators. The cross-linking of organic insulators was also attempted by adding the thermosetting material, poly (melamine-co-formaldehyde) as a hardener in the compound. The electrical characteristics measured in the metal-insulator-metal (MIM) structures showed that insulating properties of PVP layers were generally superior to those of PVT layers. Among the layers of PVP series: PVP(10 wt%) copolymer, 5 wt% cross-linked PVP(10 wt%), PVP(20 wt%) copolymer, 5 wt% cross-linked PVP(20 wt%) and 10 wt% cross-linked PVP(20 wt%), the 10 wt% cross-linked PVP(20 wt%) layer showed the lowest leakage current characteristics. Finally, inverted staggered OTFTs using the PVP(20 wt%) copolymer, 5 wt% cross-linked PVP(20 wt%) and 10 wt% cross-linked PVP(20 wt%) as gate insulators were fabricated on the polyether sulphone (PES) substrates. In our experiments, we could obtain the maximum field effect mobility of 0.31 $cm^2/Vs$ in the device from 5 wt% cross-linked PVP(20 wt%) and the highest on/off current ratio of $1.92{\times}10^5$ in the device from 10 wt% cross-linked PVP(20 wt%).

근적외선 투과 분광분석법을 이용한 가향액 중 가향제 분석 (Rapid Near Infrared Transmittance Analysis of Ingredients on the Casing Materials)

  • It is very important to add uniformly casing materials on tobacco for taste and flavor. However, analysis of casing materials was spent much time, effort and money. The object of this study was the development of a rapid method for the determination of glycerine, propylene glycol(PG), sucrose, glucose, fructose and water in the casing materials using the NIR transmittance method. Hundreds of calibration samples, with extended ranges (50%, 75%, 100%, 125%, and 150% of standard addition) in each constituent, were prepared in the casing materials at the various temperatures $(25^{\circ}C\;and\;30^{\circ}C)$. Calibration equation was developed by modified partial least square (MPLS) method using second derivative. The standard error of calibration and $R^2$ between added value and NIR estimated value results were $0.007{\sim}0.034\;and\;0.996{\sim}1.000$ for the casing sample set, respectively. The standard error of prediction and R2 between added value and NIR estimated value results were $0.010{\sim}0.034\;and\;0.997{\sim}1.000$ for the casing sample set, respectively. The analysis result was not different significantly between the NIR and added value. These results show that the NIR measurement system is an effective tool to ensure quality on the casing materials.

미세유동화법으로 제조한 캡사이신 함유 나노에멀션의 안정성 (Preparation and Stability of Capsaicin-loaded Nanoemulsions by Microfluidazion)

  • The objectives of this study, which filled gaps in previous studies, were: (1) to find the optimal mixing condition of nanoemulsions containing oleoresin capsicum (OC), Tween 80, propylene glycol (PG), and sucrose monostearate (SES) by microfluidization; (2) to investigate their properties and stability depending on such factors as pH, temperature, and heating time; (3) to measure the effect of adding ascorbic acid. In order to test these objectives, the following three experiments were conducted: Firstly, in order to find the optimal mixing ratio, nanoemulsions containing OC - the mean diameter of which is smaller than 100 nm - were prepared through the process of microfluidization; and their mean particle size, zeta potential, and capsaicinoids were measured. The test results indicated that the mixing ratio at OC : Tween 80 : PG + water(1:2) = 1 : 0.2 : 5 was optimal. Secondly, the properties and stability of nanoemulsions were investigated with varying parameters. The test results illustrated that single-layer nanoemulsions and double-layer nanoemulsions coated with alginate were stable, irrespective of all the parameters other than/except for pH 3. Thirdly, the properties of nanoemulsions were then analyzed according to the addition of ascorbic acid. The results demonstrated that the properties of single-layer nanoemulsions were not affected by addition of ascorbic acid. In case of alginate double-layer nanoemulsions, the particle size was reduced, and zeta potential increased with the addition of ascorbic acid. In conclusion, the demonstrated stability of various nanoemulsions under the different conditions in the present study suggests that these findings may constitute a basis in manufacturing various food-grade products which use nanoemulsions-and indicate that food nanoemulsions, if adopted in the food industry, have the potential to satisfy both the functionality and acceptability requirements necessary to produce commercially marketable food-grade products.

태양열과 재열기를 사용한 VI heat pump의 성능 특성에 관한 연구 (Heating Performance Characteristics of Heat Pump with VI cycle using Re-Heater and Solar-Assisted)

  • In this study, heating performance of the air-cooled heat pump with vapor-injection (VI) cycles, re-heater and solar heat storage tank was investigated experimentally. Devices used in the experiment were comprised of a VI compressor, re-heater, economizer, variable evaporator, flat-plate solar collector for hot water, thermal storage tank, etc. As working fluid, refrigerant R410A for heat pump and propylene glycol (PG) for solar collector were used. In this experiment, heating performance was compared by three cycles, A, B and C. In case of Cycle B, heat exchange was conducted between VI suction refrigerant and inlet refrigerant of condenser by re-heater (Re-heater in Fig. 3, No. 3) (Cycle B), and Cycle A was not use re-heater on the same operating conditions. In case of Cycle C, outlet refrigerant from evaporator go to thermal storage tank for getting a thermal energy from solar thermal storage tank while re-heater also used. As a result, Cycle C reached the target temperature of water in a shorter time than Cycle B and Cycle A. In addition, it was founded that, as for the coefficient of heating performance($COP_h$), the performance in Cycle C was improved by 13.6% higher than the performance of Cycle B shown the average $COP_h$ of 3.0 and by 18.9% higher than the performance of Cycle A shown the average $COP_h$ of 2.86. From this results, It was confirmed that the performance of heat pump system with refrigerant re-heater and VI cycle can be improved by applying solar thermal energy as an auxiliary heat source.

폴리비닐 계열 유기절연막 형성과 특성평가 (Formation and Characterization of Polyvinyl Series Organic Insulating Layers)

  • The polyvinyl series organic films as gate insulators of thin film transistor(TFT) have been processed and characterized on the polyether sulphone (PES) substrates . The poly-4-vinyl phenol(PVP) and polyvinyl toluene (PVT) were used as solutes and propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate(PGMEA) as a solvent in the formation of organic insulators. The cross-linking of organic insulators was also attempted by adding the thermosetting material, poly (melamine-co-formaldehyde) as a hardener in the compound. The electrical characteristics measured in the metal-insulator-metal (MIM) structures showed that insulating properties of PVP layers were generally superior to those of PVT layers. Among the layers of PVP series; copolymer PVP(10 wt%), 5wt% cross-linked PVP(10 wt%), copolymer PVP(20 wt%), 5 wt% cross-linked PVP(20 wt%) and 10 wt% cross-linked PVP(20 wt%), the 10 wt% cross-linked PVP(20 wt%) layer showed the lowest leakage current of 1.2 pA at ${\pm}10V$. The ms value of surface roughness and the capcitance per unit area are 2.41 and $1.76nF/cm^2$ in the case of 10 wt% cross-linked PVP(20 wt%) layer, respectively.

표면개질 스페셜티 카본블랙의 제조 및 잉크 특성 평가 (The Evaluation of the Preparation and Characterization of Inks based on Surface-modified Specialty Carbon Black(SCB))

  • The modified surface of specialty carbon black(SCB) is one of the main technical factors for producing a uniform color and stable dispersion. In this work, the carboxylation or sulfonation process of SCB was used to improve the dispersive properties of hydrophilic solvents such as 1,6-hexanediol and propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate(PGMEA). The results showed that the color strength of SCB DC2500G changed little with a range of 0.128~0.941(${\Delta}E$) compared to other SCB DC2500G material. In contrast, in the case of SCB EG410, there was a uniform color value with a range of 0.144~0.252(${\Delta}E$). Also, in our experiments, a modified SCB was confirmed by printing ink material as a melt coating paper. It may be possible that the SCB EG410 material can be advantageous as a gravure ink product. Finally, the modified SCB obtained from this research will have a large impact on the industry as a potential material for toners, paint, rubber, fillers, and other carbon black additives.

Hydrocolloids가 쌀만두피 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Hydrocolloids on the Quality of Rice Dumpling Skins)

  • 쌀품종에 따른 hydrocolloids를 첨가하여 쌀만두피를 제조 시 쌀가루의 입도, 쌀만두피의 조리특성 및 조직감을 측정한 결과, air classifying mill(ACM)을 이용하여 건식분쇄한 쌀가루의 입도 분포는 중력분과 유사하였고, 평균입자크기를 중심으로 조밀한 입자 분포를 나타내었다. 조리특성에서 hydrocolloids를 첨가한 경우, 밀양260호의 무게증가율은 낮아졌으나 한아름은 증가하는 경향을 나타냈다. 만두피의 조리 후 조직감은 쌀 품종별로 차이가 나타남을 관찰할 수 있었으며, hydrocolloids를 첨가함에 따라 경도가 낮고 탄성은 증가함을 알 수 있었다. Hydrocolloids를 첨가한 경우 첨가하지 않은 군에 비해 가공 특성 및 조리 후 특성 모두 우수함을 알 수 있었으며, 쌀 품종 및 첨가물의 종류에 따라 다른 특성을 관찰할 수 있어 쌀 품종별 이화학적 특성과 hydrocolloids와의 관계를 보다 더 많은 연구를 진행해보아야 할 것으로 생각되어진다.

계면활성제 유화법에 의한 D상 유화물 제조와 특성 (Preparation and Properties of D Phase Emulsion by Silicone Oil)

  • D상 유화법을 적용하고 상도를 이용하여 유화메커니즘을 설명하였다. D상 유화작용은 등방성 계면활성제 용액의 형성과 함께 시작되며 계면활성제 용액에 octamethyl cyclotetrasiloxane(OMCS)의 분산으로 계면활성제중 오일(O/D) 겔 유화물의 형성에 의해 진행된다. 폴리올은 이 실험목적상 필수성분이다. 폴리올의 기능을 이해하기 위해 비이온 계면활성제/오일/물/폴리올계의 용액거동을 폴리옥시에틸렌올레일에테르/OMCS/프로필렌글리콜(PG)의 수용액인 3성분의 상도를 이용하여 조사하였다. 등방성 계면활성제상에서 오일의 용해도는 PG를 가함에 따라 증가하였다. D상 유화물은 OMCS의 농도가 70~90% 범위에서와 계면장력이 2.0~3.0 dyne/cm 범위에서만 형성되었으며, D상 유화물은 $10{\mu}m$ 정도 크기의 균일한 구상으로 O/W 형이었다.

Organic insulate printing by gravure offset method for OLED Lighting

  • 높은 균일도의 대면적 OLED 조명을 만들기 위해서는 보조배선이 필요하다. 이 때 보조배선이 노출되면 보조배선에서 발생하는 누설전류로 인하여 디바이스가 효율적으로 구동이 되지 않는다. 그래서 누설전류를 막기 위하여 절연층을 사용하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 그라비아 오프셋 프린팅 방식으로 절연층을 형성 하였다. 그라비아 오프셋 프린팅 방식은 포토리소그래피 공법에 비해 공정이 간단하여 제작비용이 낮아지고, 친환경적인 이점이 있다. 절연층 재료로는 PVP 유기 절연체를 사용하였다. 이 PVP 유기 절연체는 PVP Poly-4-vinylphenol, Propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate, 그리고 Poly(melamineco-formaldehyde) metylate 재료들을 적절한 비율로 혼합하여 제작하였다. 제작된 용액은 최대 1840cps의 점도를 가지고 있다. 이 PVP용액으로 인쇄 테스트를 진행하였다. 일반적으로 그라비아 오프셋 프린팅 방식에서는 고점도 재료가 사용되지만, 이 PVP용액은 낮은 점도에서도 프린팅이 잘 되는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 재료의 열처리는 $100^{\circ}C$에서 10분 건조 후 $200^{\circ}C$에서 15분의 큐어링을 진행하였다. 인쇄에 사용한 패턴의 선폭은 50um~100um로 구현하였으며, 약 120cps의 점도에서 선폭 및 해상도가 패턴과 가장 유사하게 나타났다. 인쇄 후의 절연층은 최종적으로 약 1um의 두께와 낮은 접촉각을 형성하였다. 누설전류는 전압 20V인가시 0.12pA/$cm^2$의 값을 가진다. 이 결과는 동일 두께의 스핀코팅과 비슷하였다. 우리는 이 결과값을 토대로 보조배선과 PVP 유기 절연층을 그라비아 오프셋 프린팅 방식으로 인쇄 한 OLED 조명을 제작하였다.
