  • It is frequent to develop the fashion product through predict purchasing needs of consumers in Textile and Fashion Industry. If failed in its prediction, that is, if consumers would not purchase the product, there comes some problems that big sale is inevitable or stock increase tremendously. Otherwise, Quick Response System allows that the company observe the consumer's needs consistently and design products and establish manufacture schedule rapidly so that they could prohibit the products unnecessarily stocked. Consumer's preference is collected and analyzed through the data generated by POS system, and this is provided to the related manufacturer through network in realtime, so that the manufactures could merchandise, produce and provide the products according to the consumer's need. Thus, this study developed POS system-education program, that is, the merchandising of apparel product, product by prediction, retailer, purchase behavior, reduction in stock inventory and product lead time, cooperative system between apparel company and retailer, and conformation to the consumer's needs are included in this program, through binding the new technology in textile and fashion industry for the purpose of Quick Response system.

  • Big Data is now seen as a major asset in the company's competitiveness, its influence in the future is expected to grow. Companies that recognize the importance are already actively engaged with Big Data in product development and marketing, which are increasingly applied across sectors of society, including politics, sports. However, lack of knowledge of the system implementation and high costs are still a big obstacles to the introduction of Big Data and systems. It is an objective in this study to build a Big Data system, which is based on open source Hadoop and Hive among Big Data systems, utilizing POS sales data of small and medium-sized offline markets. This approach of convergence is expected to improve existing sales systems that have been simply focusing on profit and loss analysis. It will also be able to use it as the basis for the decisions of the executive to enable prediction of the consumption patterns of customer preference and demand in advance.

  • 본 논문에서는 음식점을 방문한 고객이 앉은 자리에서 직원을 부르지 않고 바로 주문/호출 메시지를 POS(Point Of Sales)기에 보낼 수 있는 인플레이스 주문 시스템에 대해 기술한다. 이는 고객이 가지고 있는 스마트모바일 기기의 앱과 테이블에 부착된 NFC(Near Field Communication) 인식을 통해 테이블정보와 주문/호출정보를 보낼 수 있다. 이 시스템을 통해 직원의 활동 동선을 줄여줄 수 있으며, 이로인해 고객에게 더 빠른 대응을 해 줄 수 있게 될 것이다.

  • Our purpose is to develope the system which detects splogs automatically among blogs on Web environment. After removing HTML of blogs, they are tagged by part of speech(POS) tagger. Words and their POS tags information is used as a feature type. Among features, we select useful features with $x^2$ statistics and train the SVM with the selected features. Our system acquired 90.5% of F1 measure with SPLOG data set.

  • Retail stores are mostly relying their product management on handwriting. This handwriting management is limited and poor at managing the status of stocking and releasing. Also, to confirm real-time product status, additional statistic system is required. POS system developed to overcome foresaid problems is operating only in big and special stores because of expensive price and limited space. Therefore, new automated management system which has low installation price needs to be developed and adopted instead of handwriting management system. In this paper, we developed real-time product management system which can manage the products in retail stores by utilizing NFC function in mobile device.

  • 중국어의 품사 태깅(part-of-speech tagging)을 위해서는 중국어 문장들은 내부 단어간의 명확한 분리가 없기 때문에 단어 분할(word segmentation)과 품사 태깅을 동시에 처리해야 한다. 본 논문은 규칙 기반(rule base)과 사전 기반(dictionary base) 기법을 혼합하여 구현한 단어 분할 시스템을 사용하여 입력 문장을 단어 단위로 분할하고, HMM(hidden Markov model) 기반 통계적 품사 태깅 기법을 사용한다. 특히, 본 논문에서는 주어진 말뭉치(corpus)로부터 자동 학습(automatic training)을 통해 품사 사전을 구축하여 구현된 시스템과 말뭉치간의 독립성을 유지한다. 말뭉치는 중국어 간체와 번체 모두를 대상으로 하고, 각 말뭉치로부터 자동 학습을 통해 얻어진 품사 사전으로 단어 분할과 품사 태깅을 한다. 실험결과들은 간체, 번체 각각의 단어 분할 성능과 품사 태깅 성능을 보여준다.

Retail Channel Inventory Management via In-Stock Ratio Measure (매장 내 제품가용성 지표를 활용한 유통재고 관리방안 제고)

  • This paper makes a detailed comparison between two metrics designed for measuring customer's satisfaction in the retail industry. The first metric, which is called the customer service level, has not been widely used due to the intrinsic requirement on the parameter assumption(s) of the demand distribution. Unlike the customer service level metric the in stock ratio metric does not require any requirements on the demand distribution. And the in stock ratio metric is also very easy to understand the meaning. To develop the detailed planning activities for business with the in stock ratio metric on hand one should collect some information as following : 1) POS (Point of sales) data, 2) Inventory Data 3) Inventory Trend.
