Piezoelectric and dielectric properties of PMN-PZT ceramics with PNN substitution (PNN 치환에 따른 PMN-PZT 세라믹스의 유전 및 압전 특성)

  • In this study piezoelectric and dielectric properties of $Pb(Mn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_{3}-Pb(Zr,Ti)O_{3}$ ceramics were investigated with $Pb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_{3}$ substitution. As the $Pb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_{3}$ substitution was increased, dielectric constant and electromechanical coupling factor (kp) were increased while mechanical quality factor decreased.

  • The piezoelectric transformers of 2.0x10x48 ㎣ size were fabricated with PSN-PMN-PZT(T10 and PNW-PMN-PZT(T2) composition ceramics. Effects of micro structural and piezoelectric properties on the electrical characteristics of the piezoelectric transformers were investigated. Under the fixed output power of 6 W, temperature rise of T1 transformer at the optimum load was smaller than T2 one because of fine grain size effect. Voltage step-up ratio of T1 transformer showed higher value than T2 one T1 transformer showed an excellent properties with voltage step-up ratio of 12.41, efficiency of 95.23% and temperature rise of 7.2$^{\circ}C$ at 200㏀ load resistance. And also, T2 transformer showed an excellent properties with voltage step up ratio of 9.81, efficiency of 95.51% and temperature rise of 9$^{\circ}C$ at 150㏀ load resistance.

Attrition milling법에 의해 제조된 PNW-PMN-PZT 세라믹스의 유전 및 압전 특성

  • In this study, microstructural and piezoelectric characteristics of PNW-PMN-PZT ceramics manufactured using attrition milling method were investigated. Sintering temperature of the ceramics was varied from $980^{\circ}C$ to $1100^{\circ}C$. At the specimen sintered at $1100^{\circ}C$, mechanical quality factor(Qm) and dielectric constant showed the maxinum values of 2,373 and 1438, respectively. At the specimen sintered at $1080^{\circ}C$, electromechanical coupling factot(kp) also showed the maxinum value of 0.524.

  • EL은 LCD와 같은 수광 형태의 소자에 비해 응답속도가 빠르고, 자체 발광 형태의 디스플레이로 휘도가 우수하며 구조가 간단하여 제조가 용이하고 경량 박형의 장점을 가지고 있다. EL을 이용하여 세븐 세그먼트나 픽셀별 발광으로 표시소자를 제작하였다. EL 소자의 구조는 전극은 금, 유전체는 PMN과 PZT를 이용하였으며 형광체를 적층하고 ITO를 증착하여 제작하였다. 4*4mm로 크기의 픽셀이 49개가 들어간 소자를 제작하고 ITO와 하부 전극을 교차하여 매트릭스 타입으로 제작하였다. 픽셀 하나에 교류 전압 펄스를 변화하여 가했을 때의 픽셀의 광전특성과 주변 픽셀에 미치는 영향에 대해 오실로스코프, 광 프로브 등을 이용하여 특성을 살펴보았다.

Effects of Sr Substitution on the PSN-PMN-PZT Ceramics for High Frequency (고주파 필터용 PSN-PMN-PZT 세라믹스의 Sr 치환효과)

  • In this study, the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency($TCF_r$), dielectric and piezoelectric properties of $Pb_{1-x}Sr_x[(Sb_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})_{0.035}(Mn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})_{0.065}(Zr_{0.49},Ti_{0.51})_{0.90}]O_3$ ceramics were investigated with the Sr substitution to Pb site. The dielectric constant was increased according to the increase of Sr substitution and electromechanical coupling factor($k_t$) also showed the highest values of 0.485 when the Sr substitution was 5 mol%. Moreover, the mechanical quality factor($Q_{mt}$) showed the highest value of 233 when the Sr substitution was 2 mol%.

  • In this paper, the electrical and dielectrical properties were investigated in Pb(Zr,Ti)O$_3$-Pb(Mn,Nb)O$_3$ ceramics which are manufactured with the substitution of Ba in site Pb. In older to increase the del and Kp , Ba was substitued to site Pb from 0 to 0.1 by 0.02 mol%. As the Ba substitution is increased, dielectric constant is increased and electricmachanical coupling factor showed the maximum value at Ba 0.06mol% and the mechanical qualify factor is decreased and the tetragonality and the grain size are decreased as the Ba substitution.

  • In this paper, we manufactured Pb($Ni_{1/2}$ $W_{1/2}$)$O_3$-Pb($Mn_{1/3}$$Nb_{2/3}$)$O_3$-Pb($Zr_3$Ti)$O_3$ceramics with variation of milling time and investigated its dielectric and piezoelectric properties. Density was increased with the increase of milling time because the sinterability of specimens were improved with the decrease of particle size. The highest value of electromechanical coupling factor was 0.518 at milling time 5hour. The highest values of mechanical quality factor and dielectric constant were 1566, 1590 at milling time 4hour, respectively.

  • In this study, in order to develop low temperature sintering piezoelectric ceramics for multilayer piezoelectric actuator, $PbSr(Mn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3-(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3-(ZrTi)O_3$ ceramics were fabricated using $Na_{2}CO_{3}-Li_{2}CO_{3}$ as sintering aids and their piezoelectric and dielectric characteristics were investigated according to the sintering tempo rature. At the sintering temperature of $900^{\circ}C$, the density, electrom echanical coupling factor(kp), mechanical quality factor(Qm) and dielectric constant(${\varepsilon}r$) of specimen showed the optimum value of $7.730[g/cm^2]$, 0.552, 1134, 1492 and 330[pC/N], respectively.

  • In this paper, the structural, dielectric and piezoelectric properties of the Pb[(S $b_{1}$2/N $b_{1}$2/)$_{0.035}$- $_Mn_{1}$3/N $b_{2}$3/)$_{0.065}$-(Z $r_{0.49}$, $Ti_{0.51}$)$_{0.90}$] $O_3$ ceramics were investigated with respect to the variation of the milling time. Grain size was decreased as the increase of milling time. As the milling time is increased, the particle size of the powder was decreased. Dielectric constant and electromechanical coupling factor (Qm)were slowly increased with the increase of milling time. The highest value of Qm was 1,497 at milling time 8 hour. Temperature coefficient of resonant frequency(TC $F_{r}$) was moved to positive side with the increase of milling time.e.e.e.e.e.e.

  • In this paper, ultrasonic nozzle and driving circuit were manufactured, respectively. And then, their electrical properties. were investigated. Ultrasonic nozzle was fabricated using PSN-PMN-PZT ceramics showing excellent piezoelectric characteristics. In order to drive ultrasonic nozzle, PWM controller(KA3525A) was used. The purpose of this study is to find the optimal driving condition of ultrasonic. nozzle. Accordingly electrical and temperature characteristic of ultrasonic driving system were investigated as a function of the input voltage.
