  • 본 논문에서는 양측식 영구자석 선형 동기 전동기(Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor: 이하 PMLSM)의 전기자 분산배치를 위해 전기자에 보조치 및 Offset에 의해 나타나는 단부 코깅력을 해석하였다. 또한 가장 낮은 단부 코깅력을 가지는 Offset 위치에 대하여 역기전력을 분석하였으며 이에 따른 추력 특성에 대한 고찰을 수행하였다.

  • This paper present increasing of Power density of slotless PMLSM by inserting core between phase winding. PM width is changed and PM is divided into two part to reduce and eliminate high order space harmonics affecting torque ripple. Flux density, back EMF, inductance, thrust, normal and detent force are computed by 2D FEM, and analysis values are compared with each other.

  • This paper presents the dynamic characteristic analysis of Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor(PMLSM) according to variable load. In order to analyze dynamic characteristics, finite element method(FEM) was used for calculation of the parameter and the Matlab simulink was used for dynamic characteristic simulation. The measuring system of the dynamic characteristics was manufactured and the experiment results were compared with the simulation results.

  • The problem is improving the positioning precision of a permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM). Thus, this paper presents the design and realization of an adaptive dither to reduce the force ripple in PMLSM. A composite control structure is used, consisting of three components: a simple feed-forward component, a PID feedback component and an adaptive feed-forward compensator (AFC). Especially adaptive feed-forward component cancel out detent force using wavelet transformation. Computer simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme for high precision motion trajectory tracking using the PMLSM

  • This paper presents the vibration reduction of PMLSM according to permanent magnet array. The detent force and the lateral force arc generating the thrust ripple that cause vibration in PMLSM. The detent force, the thrust and the lateral force is analyzed by 3D FEM. And the acceleration sensor is used for experimentation of vibration.

  • In this paper, detent force is minimized using notch and slot-aputure width adjustment in a slotted PMLSM. This time, the moving model node technique has used to reduce the time and the effort for calculation according to changing design parameters. As the result, the detent force of proposed model is decreased from 9.44[N] to 0.97[N] compare with it of basic model greatly. The thrust Is decreased 1.3[$\%$] from 342.07[N] to 337.48[N] a little. The notch is applied to PMLSM simply, the detent force is reduced greatly.

  • This paper proposes inserted core type of slotless Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor(PMLSM) to improve its low thrust density. However, by inserting the core between windings of each phase, detent force is generated and it acts as thrust ripple. Furthermore, linear motors generate end effect making thrust ripple. So, this paper applies the neural network to minimize detent force and to maximize thrust. Also, sub-poles is placed at the end parts of the mover to compensate end effect. To confirm of calculation method's validity, the calculated results are compared with experimental results.

  • The detent force by end-effect has an undesired influence on moving coil type Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor(PMLSM). So, the reduction of detent force by end-effect is especially required for the improvement of thrust characteristics. In this paper, in order to reduce detent force by end-effect, the auxiliary-teeth is installed at the end part of mover. It is also analyzed by Finite Element Analysis(FEA) and optimized by using neural network. By comparison, the detent force is reduced about 41.4[%] comparing to that of basic model.

  • Recently Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motors(PMLSMs) are widely used for many linear transportation applications. The PMLSM has many advantages such as simple structure, high speed and thrust. However, especially in short primary type PMLSM, there exists very large detent force, which makes the thrust force ripple, undesired vibration and noise. The detent force is composed of the Cogging force and the End force. The Cogging force comes from the interaction between the permanent magnets and interior teeth of the stator. And the End force acts on the exterior teeth of the stator by the permanent magnets. Usually End force is larger than Cogging force, so the detent force is drasically reduced only by reducing the End force. This paper shows the End force is minimized by optimizing the stator length and chamfering the shape of the exterior teeth of the stator.

  • 영구자석 선형 동기 전동기(PMLSM)의 detent force는 입력전류가 가해지지 않은 상태에서의 영구자석과 철심간의 상호 작용에 의하여 발생된다. 이는 고정자에 관한 이동자의 위치 함수로서 표현 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 이동자의 위치에 따른 detent force를 측정하고, 이를 바탕으로 PMLSM 추력 리플의 원인이 되는 detent force를 저감하기 위한 보상법이 추가된 Field Oriented Control(FOC)을 제안하였다. 또한, 동일한 상황에서의 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통해 제안된 제어법의 유효성을 입증하였다.
