다변수 자기동조 PID 제어기의 설계 (Design of multivariable self tuning PID controllers)

  • This paper presents an automatic tuning method for parameters of a multivaiable self-tuning velocity-type PID controller which adapts to changes in the system parameters with time delays and noises. The velocity-type PID control structure is determined in the process of minimizing the variance of the auxiliarly output, and self-tuning effect is achieved through the recursive least square algorithm at the parameter estimation stage and also through the Robbins-Monro algorithm at the stage of optiminzing the design parameters of the controller. The proposed PID type multivariable self-tuning method is simple andeffective compared with other esisting multivariable self-tuning methods. Computer simulation has shown that the proposed algorithm is beter than the trial-and-error method in the tracking performance.

  • This paper suggests an auto-tuning I'll) control algorithm that uses the advantage of PID controller and improves the system performance. The PID gains being designed by th- conventional method are tuned through the plant parameter estimation. The Extended Kalman Filter is used for the estimation. It works as an observer and noise filter. Moreover, as the plant state and the uncertain parameter could be estimated simultaneously, the proposed algorithm is very useful in the tracking control of a system with uncertain parameter. The auto-tuning I'll) controller could maintain the system performance in the case that the plant parameters are uncertain or varying. The proposed control algorithm requires a correct estimation of the plant parameter. The controller stability and the performance is considered through the stability criteria and a servo motor model. The Kalman filter estimates the most sensitive plant parameter, which is determined by the sensitivity analysis.

  • Proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controllers are widely used in industrial sites. Most tuning methods for PID controllers use an empirical and experimental approach; thus, the experience and intuition of a designer greatly affect the tuning of the controller. The representative methods include the closed-loop tuning method of Ziegler-Nichols (Z-N), the C-C tuning method, and the Internal Model Control tuning method. There has been considerable research on the tuning of PID controllers for single-input single-output systems but very little for multi-input multi-output systems. It is more difficult to design PID controllers for multi-input multi-output systems than for single-input single-output systems because there are interactive control loops that affect each other. This paper presents a tuning method for the PID controller for a two-input two-output system. The proposed method uses a real-coded genetic algorithm (RCGA) as an optimization tool, which optimizes the PID controller parameters for minimizing the given objective function. Three types of objective functions are selected for the RCGA, and each PID controller parameter is determined accordingly. The performance of the proposed method is compared with that of the Z-N method, and the validity of the proposed method is examined.

  • 본 논문에서는 유전 알고리즘을 사용하여 PID의 각 계수를 자동적으로 조정함으로써 DC 서보모터의 속도제어에 적용하였다. DC 서보모터는 산업현장 및 로봇분야에 널리 적용되고 있으며 적절한 제어성능을 얻기 위하여 많은 시행착오에 의한 다양한 제어방법이 사용되고 있다. 그러나 산업현장, 플랜트의 변화 및 외란에 강인한 제어알고리즘을 선택하기가 매우 어려우며 많은 시행착오를 통하여 원하는 계수값을 얻어 낼 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하고 DC 서보모터의 제어성능을 향상시키기 위하여 유전 알고리즘을 적용함으로써 우수한 응답특성을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • When a controller is implemented by a one-chip processor with fixed-point operations, the finite alphabet problem usually occurs since parameters and signals should be taken in a finite set of values. This paper formulates PID finite alphabet PID control problem which combines the PID controller with the finite alphabet problem. We will propose a PID parameter tuning method based on an optimization algorithm under the finite alphabet condition. The PID parameters can be represented by a fixed-point representation, and then the problem is formulated as an optimization with constraints that parameters are taken in the finite set. Some simulation are to be performed to exemplify the performance of the PID parameter tuning method proposed in this paper.

  • Design of an intelligent controller for efficient control in smart building is one of the effective technologies to reduce energy consumption by reducing response time with keeping comfortable level for inhabitants. In this paper, we focus on how to find major parameters in order to enhance the ability of HVAC(heating, ventilation, air conditioning) PID controller. For the purpose of that, we use machine learning technologies for tuning HVAC devices. We show the simulation results to illustrate the behavioral relation of whole system and each control parameter while learning process.

  • In this Paper, we Propose model-based tuning rules of the PID controller incorporating with genetic algorithms. Three sets of optimal PID parameters for step set-point tracking are obtained based on the first-order time delay model of plants and a genetic algorithm which minimizes performance indices(IAE, ISE and ITAE). Then tuning rules are obtained using the tuned parameter sets, potential rule models and a genetic algorithm. Simulation is carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed rules.

  • In this paper The tuning of PID controller for multi input-output is studied by using fuzzy inference. State of coupling is estimated by fuzzy inference, its results is used for tuning of PID controller to get optimum P,I,D parameter with regard to state of coupling. This method is simulated to Turbo-generating system with $2{\times}2$ multi input-output and made with electronic circuit, its response is very satisfactory.

  • 시간지연을 갖는 적분시스템은 공정제어 중에서 레벨제어 문제에 해당되는 프로세스이다. 본 논문에서는 이 적분 시스템에 대한 PID 제어기의 최적 동조 규칙을 제안한다. 우선 PID 제어기 파라미터를 IAE, ISE, ITSE의 성능지수의 합이 최소가 되도록 RCGA를 이용하여 최적화한다. 다음으로 이로부터 또 다른 RCGA를 사용하여 일반화된 PID 제어기의 동조규칙을 유도한다. PID 제어기는 추종제어용과 외란억제용 두 가지로 구분하였으며, 시뮬레이션을 통해 기존의 방법과 비교하여 제안한 방법의 유효성을 검토한다.
