The Design of the Fuzzy Logic Controller for Controlling the Speed in the Zero-Crossing Speed Region of a Hydraulic System (유압시스템의 극저속 속도제어를 위한 퍼지논리 제어기의 설계)

  • Due to the friction characteristic of pump, cylinder, and between passenger car and the rail, there exist dead zone in the hydraulic system actuated with inverter, which can not be controlled by a PID controller. In this paper, the friction characteristic of a cylinder is considered first, which may cause the uncontrolled speed in the zero-crossing speed region. And then, the zooming fuzzy logic controller is designed to overcome the drawback by the existing PID speed controller. Finally, The proposed hybrid fuzzy controller is applied to the PID controller in the normal speed region and to the fuzzy controller in the zero-crossing speed region. The reason is that the problem of the uncontrolled speed in the zero-crossing speed region caused by the friction characteristic of the cylinder in hydraulic elevator can be solved, and the effectiveness of the controlling system not only in the zero-crossing speed region but also the overall controlling region including steady-state can be simulated and performed.

  • 100MW급 유류 연소 드럼형 열병합발전소의 주증기온도와 드럼수위 제어를 위한 비선형 PMBC를 개발하고 그 성능을 PID 알고리즘과 비교하였다. "first principle" approach를 사용하여 개발된 프로세스 모델은 정상상태를 과도상태에서 그 정확도를 현장의 데이터와 비교 검증한 것으로 제어기 성능 평가와 설계에 적합한 정교한 것이다. PMBC와 PID 제어의 성능을 부하증가와 연료의 열량변화 등의 외란에 비교한 결과, PMBC가 PID에 비하여 속응성, 절대오차 적분차, 제어노력 등에서 월등하게 우수한 것을 확인하였다. 것을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문은 급속한 인터넷의 성장에 따라 사용자의 서비스 질을 보장하기 위한 Q-PID라는 제어기를 새롭게 제안한다. 이러한 제어기는 사용자 요청에 대한 응답시간을 보장하기 위하여 모든 웹 요청에 대해서 입장 허용 가능한지를 조사하고 이게 근거하여 입장 허용된 요청은 서버 지연 응답시간을 보장해 줄 수 있도록 한다. 이러한 Q-PID 제어기를 사용함으로서 복잡한 사용자의 요구를 충족시킬 수 있다. 이러한 Q-PID를 설계하고 구현하였으며 실험결과와 함께 제어성에 대해서 토의하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 선박 디젤엔진의 속도를 조절함에 있어서 환경 변화에서도 지속적으로 만족스러운 성능을 유지하도록 시스템 파라미터 추정자, 제어기 계수 수정자를 결합한 자기동조 PID 제어기를 설계한다. 유전알고리즘을 기반으로 한 온라인 추정자가 시스템의 파라미터를 추정하면, 제어기 계수 수정자는 제안한 동조규칙으로 계수를 조정하게 된다. 이를 위해 시스템을 시간지연 1차 모델로 근사화하여 유전알고리즘 기반으로 그 파라미터를 온라인 추정하는 문제를 다룬다. 제안한 방법의 성능은 B&W사의 4L80MC 디젤엔진을 제어대상으로 퍼지모델을 얻고 모의실험을 통하여 확인한다.

  • The idea of expert control is to incoporate a rule based expert system in a feedback control system. In this paper, We present some heuristic rules about input regulation and supervision and turning for D.C. servo motor speed control. The expert auto-turning PID Controller which Heuristic rules are used as an element of the feedback control system is implemented with the numerical algorithms and Heuristic logics. The robust and accurate control function is confirmed by computer simulation..

  • This paper presents a position tracking control of a flexible beam using the piezoelectric actuator. This is achieved by implementing both feedforward hysteretic compensator of the actuator and PID feedback controller. The Preisach model is adopted to develop the feedforward hysteretic compensator. In the design of the compensator, estimated displacement of the piezoceramic actuator is used based on the limiting triangle database that results from collecting data of the main reversal curve and the first order ascending curves. Experimental implementation is conducted for position tracking control and performance comparison is made between a PID feedback controller without considering the effect of hysteresis, and a PID feedback controller integrated with the feedforward hysteretic compensator.

  • LED(Light Emitting Diode) has the defects of low efficiency and reducement of life cycle as its temperature increases. This research is about an efficient temperature control of the LED. For LED temperature control, it is shown that a heat sink, fan, a one-chip microprocessor and the PID control algorithm are a good cooling system through experiments. Finally. by using the fan as a cooling device and controlling it appropriately, it is proved that the intensity of illumination and the desired temperature can be achieved with consumption of only 2% of the driving power of the LED system through control experiments.

  • This paper proposes a fuzzy tuning PID controller for straight line type inverted pendulum. The conventional PID controller which is used widely in industrial field has fatal drawback on determining control gains for practical system. The proposed controller tunes the gains automatically based on fuzzy urle derived from the experience of expert operator. The results of simulation and experiment show the efficiency of the proposed control method comparing with conventional PID control method in terms of rising time, overshoot, and overall errors.

  • In this paper, we propose a design method of PID controller using an improved Tabu Search. Tabu Search is improved by neighbor solution creation using Gaussian random distribution and generalized Hermite Biehler Theorem for stable bounds. The range of admissible proportional gains are determined first in closed form. Next the optimal PID gains are selected by improved Tabu Search. The results of Computer simulations represent that the proposed Tabu Search algorithm shows a fast convergence speed and a good control performance.

  • In this paper an nonlinear neuro PID controller is constructed by the control system of general PID controller using a Self-Recurrent Neural Network. And the games of the PID controller in the proposed control system are automatically adjusted by back-propagation algorithm of the neural network. Applying to the position control system, it's performance is verified through the results of computer simulation.
