  • In this paper, adaptive speed sensorless vector control, sliding mode observer to be present. Adaptive sliding mode observer of the motor stator coordinate system using the voltage equations of the rotor flux components are observed. Lyapunov function of the induction motor speed is estimated by the relationship further. In order to establish such a control scheme based on the way conventional PI controller and sliding mode observer annexing characteristics of the system through simulation and experiment were compared. Analyzed and compared according to the results presented confirmed the usefulness of the system.

  • 2DOF is applied to induction moor in order to supply these weak points of PI speed control method in this paper. and proposed method utilize the combination of the voltage model based on stator equivalent model and the current model based on rotor equivalent model, which enables stable estimation of rotor flux. And it also emphasizes the improvement of the control characteristics in low speed region where established schemes have many problems. To prove the propriety of this paper, the various simulations carried out adequacy and stability using Matlab, and at the same time real system is made, so it is proved. As the results of embodying the system, the robust system is realized.

Neural network based direct torque control for doubly fed induction generator fed wind energy systems

  • Torque ripple content and variable switching frequency operation of conventional direct torque control (DTC) are reduced by the integration of space vector modulation (SVM) into DTC. Integration of space vector modulation to conventional direct torque control known as SVM-DTC. It had been more frequently used method in renewable energy and machine drive systems. In this paper, SVM-DTC is used to control the rotor side converter (RSC) of a wind driven doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) because of its advantages such as reduction of torque ripples and constant switching frequency operation. However, flux and torque ripples are still dominant due to distorted current waveforms at different operations of the wind turbine. Therefore, to smoothen the torque profile a Neural Network Controller (NNC) based SVM-DTC has been proposed by replacing the PI controller in the speed control loop of the wind turbine controller. Also, stability analysis and simulation study of DFIG using process reaction curve method (RRCM) are presented. Validation of simulation study in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment of proposed wind driven DFIG system has been performed by laboratory developed prototype model. The proposed NNC based SVM-DTC yields superior torque response and ripple reduction compared to other methods.

  • 최근에는 파워툴(power tools)과 가전 제풀에 있어서 전자적인 전류(commutation)를 사용하는 새로운 형태의 브러시리스 전동기인 플럭스 스위칭 전동기(Flux switching motor)에 대한 관심이 점차적으로 증가되고 있으며, 특히 팬과 펌프 시장에 있어서는 그린 정책으로 인하여 플럭스 스위칭 전동기에 대한 관심이 급격히 증가되고 있다. 플럭스 스위칭 전동기는 유도전동기에 비해서는 높은 전력 밀도(power density)와 상대적으로 높은 효율, 그리고 브러시리스 DC 전동기에 비해서는 간단한 전동기 구조와 가격 경쟁력이라는 장점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 팬 용도로 제작된 12/6 폴을 가지는 플럭스 스위칭 전동기의 드라이브 설계와 동작원리에 대해서 나타내고, 팬 용도로 제작된 프로토타입 플럭스 스위칭 전동기의 타당성을 검증하기 위해서 IMS320F2812 DSP와 일반적인 인버터를 이용한 실험 결과를 제시한다.

  • In compliance with environmental regulations at sea and the introduction of unmanned autonomous ships, electric propulsion ships are garnering significant attention. Induction machines used as propulsion electric motor (PEM) have maintenance advantages, but speed control is very complicated and difficult. One of the most commonly used techniques for speed control is DTC (direct torque control). DTC is simple in the reference frame transformation and the stator flux calculation. Meanwhile, two-level and three-level voltage source inverters (VSI) are predominantly used. The three-level VSI has more flexibility in voltage space vector selection compared to the two-level VSI. In this paper, speed is controlled using the DTC method based on the specifications of the PEM. The speed controller employs a PI controller with anti-windup functionality. In addition, the characteristics of the two-level VSI and three-level VSI are compared under identical conditions. It was confirmed through simulation that proper control of speed and torque has been achieved. In particular, the torque ripple was small and control was possible with a low DC voltage at low speed in the three-level VSI. The study confirmed that the application of DTC, using a three-level VSI, contributes to enhancing the system's response performance.

매트릭스 컨버터로 구동되는 유도전동기의 직접토크제어를 위한 모델예측제어 기반의 SVM 기법 (Model Predictive Control for Induction Motor Drives Fed by a Matrix Converter)

  • This paper proposes a MPC (Model Predictive Control) method for the torque and flux controls of induction motor. The proposed MPC method selects the optimized voltage vector for the matrix converter control using the predictive modeling equation of the induction motor and cost function. Hence, the reference voltage vector that minimizes the cost function of the torque and flux error within the control period is selected and applied to the actual system. As a result, it is possible to perform the torque and flux control of induction motor using only the MPC controller without a PI (Proportional-Integral) or hysteresis controller. Even though the proposed control algorithm is more complicated and has lots of computations compared with the conventional MPC, it can perform torque ripple reduction by synthesizing voltage vectors of various magnitude. This feature provides the reduction of amount of calculations and the improvement of the control performance through the adjustment of the number of the unit vectors n. The proposed control method is validated through the PSIM simulation.

혼합형 디지털 자동 전압 조정 장치를 이용한 선박용 동기발전기의 출력전압제어 (Voltage Control of a Synchronous Generator for Ship using a Compound Type Digital AVR)

  • In this paper, an exciter current control of a synchronous generator for ships using a compound type digital automatic voltage regulator (DVAR) in order to provide a constant output voltage of the generator is presented. The compound type DAVR is composed of a controller part to adjust output voltage and an power source unit to supply power to the exciter. The controller part, which generates the PWM switching pattern via the PI controller, drives a power MOSFET for bypass to limit the SG's exciter current. The power source unit part is parallel connected to an output terminal of the generator through a reactor and a power CT. The residual magnetic flux of SG provides exciter current to the exciter through the reactor during the initial running or no load state and load current supplies field current to the exciter through the power CT during loading state. This paper confirmed an experiment to verify the validity of compound type DAVR system for controlling output voltage of synchronous generator.

저속영역에서 교류전동기의 정확한 자속추정을 위한 전류측정오차 보상 (Correction on Current Measurement Errors for Accurate Flux Estimation of AC Drives at Low Stator Frequency)

  • 본 논문은 1-Hz의 낮은 고정자 전류 주파수에서도 동작하는 순수적분 기반의 자속추정을 위한 온라인 전류측정 오차 보상방법을 제안한다. 오프셋 전류와 변환이득오차에 의한 역상분 전류 성분은 상태관측기를 이용하여 제거하고, 동시에 변환이득오차에 의한 역상분 전류는 동기좌표계에서 영구자석에 의하여 발생된 q축 자속을 기준모델에 의한 값과 추정된 자속에 의한 값 사이의 차이에 의하여 보상한다. 이 보상기는 PI제어기를 이용하여 두 값 사이의 오차가 0이 되도록 제어한다. 또한 적분기 초기값 오차 및 관측기의 전동기 상수 오차에 의한 잔여오차 보상방법도 제안하였다. 타당성을 입증하기 위하여 1.1-kW 영구자석형 동기전동기(PMSM)에 제안된 보상 방법을 구현하여 다양한 실험을 수행하였다.

  • This paper presents a vector control implementation for SPMSM(Surface-mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) using dSPACE 1104 system and MATLAB/SIMULINK. SPMSM can be treated as a DC motor provided that currents of flux and torque component are controlled independently using vector control. Therefore various control algorithms for conventional DC motor control can be adopted to SPMSM. The system is designed to improve set-point tracking capability, fast response, and accuracy. In This paper, d-q equivalent modeling of PMSM is derived based on vector control theory. The PI controller is used for speed control and state feedback PI current control method is used for current control. For the implementation of high performance vector control system, dSPACE 1104 system is used. Simulations and experiments were carried out to examine validity of the proposed vector control implementation.

  • 본 논문은 MATLAB/SIMULINK와 dSPACE 1104 시스템을 사용하여 표면부착형 영구자석 동기전동기 벡터제어를 구현하였다. 영구자석 동기전동기는 고정자 전류를 자속발생 전류성분과 토크발생 전류성분으로 분리하고 이를 각각 독립적으로 제어함으로써 타여자 직류전동기처럼 다루는 것이 가능하기 때문에 기존의 직류전동기 제어에 사용되던 각종 제어 알고리즘을 적용하는 것이 가능하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 표면 부착형 영구자석 동기 전동기의 벡터제어를 구현하기 위하여, 먼저 MATLAB/SIMULINK 프로그램으로 영구자석 동기 전동기를 모델링하고 속도제어 부에는 비례-적분 제어기를, 전류제어 부에는 비간섭 비례-적분 제어기를 설계하여 제어기의 응답을 미리 확인하였다. 그리고 설계된 제어기의 성능을 입증하기 위하여 dSPACE DS1104 R&D Board에 시뮬레이션을 통해 구현된 영구자석 동기전동기 벡터 제어 프로그램을 다운로드하여 실험을 통해 제안된 벡터제어 시스템의 타당성을 입증하였다
