  • This paper presents self tuning PI controller of IPMSM drive using neural network. NNPI controller is developed to minimize overshoot, rise time and settling time following sudden parameter changes such as speed, load torque and inertia. Also, this paper is proposed speed control of IPMSM using neural network and estimation of speed using artificial neural network(ANN) controller. The results on a speed controller of IPMSM are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed gain tuner. And this controller is better than the fixed gains one in terms of robustness, even under great variations of operating conditions and load disturbance.

  • In this paper, we adapted BLDC motor to PV water pumping systems to maintain high efficiency in the wide speed area. Also, to design confidence we adapted the vector control that drive the maximum torque at each speed limit. We designed optimal gain value of current, speed and pressure PI controller. Inverter gate pulse used Space Vector PWM to reduce torque pulsation of BLDC motor. According to, it was improve general matters of high water storage tank method by direct water supply pumping method.

Design of Multivariable PID Controllers: A Comparative Study

  • The Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controller is the most popular industrial controller and more than 90% process industries use this controller. During the past 50 years, numerous good tuning methods have been proposed for Single Input Single Output Systems. However, design of PI/PID controllers for multivariable processes is a challenge for the researchers. A comparative study of three PID controllers design methods has been carried-out. These methods include the DS (Direct Synthesis) method, IMC (Internal model Control) method and ETF (Effective Transfer Function) method. MIMO PID controllers are designed for a number of 2×2, 3×3 and 4×4 process models with multiple delays. The performance of the three methods has been evaluated through simulation studies in Matlab/Simulink environment. After extensive simulation studies, it is found that the Effective Transfer Function (ETF) Method produces better output responses among two methods. In this work, only decentralized methods of PID controllers have been studied and investigated.

태양광 전력설비를 위한 오차 보상기 사용의 전력변환기기에 대한 응답특성의 효과 검증 (Response Characteristics Effectiveness of Power Converter According to Using of Error Compensator for PV Power System)

  • In this paper, the improvement of the control response by using the error compensator to improve the stability of the control in the power conversion system is verified. Typically a closed loop control method is used to improve the control response characteristics in a traditional power conversion system and this is accomplished by generating a PWM waveform. In this paper, the newly constructed Type3 compensator to overcome the existing such as PI controller or Type2 compensator has been developed to improve the control stability of these closed loop control systems and the effectiveness of the use of error compensation devices was verified by presenting technique to improve stability and select its parameters by expanding the range of phase gains. Stability improvements are shown by the extension of the phase gain range and parameter selection techniques and the effects of using the error compensation device are verified accordingly.

실험적 데이터 기반의 컨테이너 크레인 파라미터 추정 및 제어 (Experimental Data based-Parameter Estimation and Control for Container Crane)

  • 컨테이너 크레인의 수학적 모델 정확도는 모델 내부 파라미터 값의 정확도에 의해 결정되나, 기술적 혹은 환경적인 문제로 내부 파라미터의 정확한 값을 알지 못하는 경우가 발생하기도 한다. 이 경우에는 시스템의 입 출력 데이터에 근거하여 모델의 파라미터를 추정해야 하는데, 본 논문에서는 입 출력 데이터와 RCGA가 결합된 모델조정기법을 이용하여 모형 컨테이너 크레인 선형모델의 파라미터를 추정하는 방법을 보인다. 또한, 이렇게 추정한 모델에 또 다른 RCGA를 적용하여 제어에 필요한 이득행렬을 탐색한다. 제안하는 파라미터 추정법과 제어기법은 컨테이너 크레인의 모형실험장치에 적용하고, 실험을 실시하여 그 유효성을 검증한다.

  • 비례솔레노이드밸브는 코일전류에 비례하는 전자기력을 이용하여 밸브 변위를 연속적으로 가변시키는 밸브이다. 대용량 비례유량제어밸브는 발전소나 화학 플랜트에서 물, 스팀, 가스 등과 같은 공정유체의 대용량 유량제어에 사용되며 공압이나 모터를 이용하는 밸브에 비하여 우수한 응답성능과 소형화의 장점을 가진다. 본 연구에서는 비례제어밸브를 대상으로 밸브의 동적 특성을 식별한 후 목표 성능이 만족되도록 위치제어기의 비례적분이득을 자동으로 조정하는 기능을 설계하였다. 동특성 식별은 릴레이 피드백을 통하여 한계 안정 상태에서의 임계이득과 임계주기로 파악하였으며, 비례적분이득 결정에는 Ziegler-Nichols 방법을 적용하였다. 구현된 기능은 시험을 통하여 성능을 검증하였으며 밸브 작동점과 릴레이 제어기 변수가 자동조정에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.

Optimal Controller Design for Single-Phase PFC Rectifiers Using SPEA Multi-Objective Optimization

  • In this paper a new method for the design of a simple PI controller is presented and it has been applied in the control of a Boost based PFC rectifier. The Strength Pareto evolutionary algorithm, which is based on the Pareto Optimality concept, used in Game theory literature is implemented as a multi-objective optimization approach to gain a good transient response and a high quality input current. In the proposed method, the input current harmonics and the dynamic response have been assumed as objective functions, while the PI controller's gains of the PFC rectifier (Kpi, Tpi) are design variables. The proposed algorithm generates a set of optimal gains called a Pareto Set corresponding to a Pareto Front, which is a set of optimal results for the objective functions. All of the Pareto Front points are optimum, but according to the design priority objective function, each one can be selected. Simulation and experimental results are presented to prove the superiority of the proposed design methodology over other methods.

CRA 기법을 이용한 PWM 컨버터의 강인제어기 설계 (CRA Based Robust Controller Design for PWM Converter)

  • 본 논문에서는 PWM 컨버터의 강인제어기를 제안한다. 제안된 컨버터제어기는 DC 출력전압 제어를 위한 PI 제어기와 입력전류를 전원과 동상인 정현파로 제어하기 위해 오차공간에서 제어 문제를 해결한 전류제어기로 구성되어있다. 종래에는 전류제어기의 설계과정에서 소자의 스위칭주파수 및 디지탈제어기의 샘플링 주파수 등을 고려하여 제어기 게인값에 대한 해를 구하는 과정에서 시행착오 방법을 사용하여야 했다. 그러나 제안된 제어기는 CRA 기법을 적용하여 원하는 응답속도 및 오버슈트를 가지도록 최적의 게인값을 설정하도록 하였다. 먼저 CRA 기법을 적용한 전류제어기 알고리즘을 설명하고 PSiM 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통하여 제안된 제어기의 타당성을 검증한다.

  • This paper, we describe the vector control of surface mounted PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) using the fuzzy controller which is suggested algorithm. In these days, when vehicle is operated or not, whether the road is covered or not, the sensitivity of the steering column is not stable. To make up for it, the PI gain of a steering column controller is adjusted by experience. It becomes the price because it need a lot of sensor. Also it is difficult to implement robust control because we need a lot of parameters for variable road conditions which are the off road, the on road, a low battery voltage, a high battery voltage, a vehicle speed. In this paper, we propose fuzzy controller using the suggested algorithm which suitable for steering system. We test the fuzzy controller with the various condition. We get the good performance of fuzzy controller even if it is nonlinear system. We check a robust the fuzzy controller using the suggested algorithm.
