Polyaniline Emeraldine Base (PANI EB) polymerized by chemical oxidative polymerization was doped with Camphorsulfonic Acid(CSA). Polyaniline-Camphorsulfonic Acid Emeraldine Salt(PANI-CSA ES) solutions were solved in organic solvents and sonificated at the room temperature for different solvents in PANI-CSA ES solution and sonification time. PANI-CSA ES solutions was coated on PET films using bar coater. 1-Step oxidatively-polymerized Polyaniline-Camphorsulfonic Acid Emeraldine Salt(PANI-CSA ES) was solved in m-cresol:chloroform 1:1 co-solvents and their solution was bar-coated on PET film. The surface resistivities of these coated films were measured, The surface resistivity of PANI-CSA ES solution in m-cresol:chloroform 1:1 co-solvent system was 5${\times}$10$^2$$\Omega$/$\square$.
Colloidally stable organic-inorganic (O-I) hybrid nanoparticles could be prepared using an alkoxysilanefunctionalized amphiphilic polymer (AFAP) precursor. O-I hybrid sols could maintain colloidal stability for six months even at 45% solid content and be coated onto glass as well as PET film to form transparent O-I hybrid films. The formation of O-I hybrid nanoparticles dispersed in cured coating films could be confirmed using scanning electron microscopy. The cured coating film showed 3H and 5H pencil hardness on PET and glass, respectively. Nanoindentation measurements also showed that their modulus and hardness was varied with the type of AFAP used in its preparation.

The characteristics of hybrid conductive films based on multilayer graphene and silver grid have been investigated for the high-performance and flexible organic solar cells. The hybrid conductive films have been prepared on glass and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrates using conventional photolithography process and transfer process of graphene. The optical and electrical properties of prepared conductive films show transmittance of 87% at 550nm and sheet resistance of $28{\Omega}/square$. The electromechanical properties were also investigated in detail to confirm the flexibility of the hybrid films. OSCs have been fabricated on the hybrid conductive films based on graphene and silver grid on glass substrate. The power conversion efficiency of 2.38%, a fill factor of 51%, an open circuit voltage of 0.58V and a short circuit current of $8.05mA/cm^2$ were obtained from the device on glass substrate. The PCE was enhanced 11% compared with OSCs on the MLG films without silver grid.
Intrinsic UV reflection and fluorescence behaviors of polycarbonate, polyurethane and poly(ethylene terephthalate) films were investigated in order to characterize the interaction of water in these films. During water sorption process, UV reflection spectra of polycarbonate and polyurethane films showed little peak position changes. Fluorescence emission spectra of polycarbonate films showed red spectral shifts from 332 nm with water immersion time. This red-shifted peak could be due to phenyl-2-phenoxybenzoate, which is one of the major thermal degradation products in polycarbonate. Fluorescence peaks of polyurethane films appeared at two different positions and the ratio of these peak intensities increased with increasing immersion time. In the case of PET films, the UV reflection spectrum showed the peak intensity around 340 nm to change in response to water sorption. The fluorescence near 388 nm probably due to ground state dimer exhibited sensitivity with water sorption, when excited at 340 nm.
This study was conducted to investigate the antibacterial activity and shelf-life extension effect of iceberg lettuce packed in BN/PE film. The BN/PE film has a strong microbial suppression effect on pathogenic bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Salmonella enteritidis, and S. typhimurium. The number of psychrophiles and mesophiles during 5 days of cold storage of fresh-cut iceberg lettuce at $10^{\circ}C$ packaged in BN/PE film was strictly suppressed in comparison with other tested films (OPP, PE, and PET film). When fresh processed iceberg lettuce was processed and stored under the current conditions, the shelf-life of the product was longer than 5 days in the BN/PE film package, whereas the shelf-life when using the other films tested, PE, OPP and PET, was no longer than 3-4 days. The decay rates of the iceberg lettuce packed in the BN/PE film was maintained at $29.8{\pm}2.1%$ on the 5th day of preservation. The samples packed in BN/PE film maintained an excellent visual quality during the 3 days of storage without significant differences in comparison with the initial visual quality. No browning was observed in the samples packed in BN/PE film for up to 3 days. The texture of shredded iceberg lettuce packaged in BN/PE film remained unchanged up to 3 days, and then a moderate decrease in texture was observed after 4 days of storage. In addition, the overall acceptability of fresh-cut iceberg lettuce packaged in BN/PE film did not change for up to 3 days, whereas the samples packaged in the other films were inedible by 3 days of storage. In conclusion, the shelf-life of fresh-cut iceberg lettuce packaged in the BN/PE film was extended to more than 5 days at $10^{\circ}C$, whereas that in the other films was 2 days at $10^{\circ}C$. Therefore, the shelf-life extension effect of the fresh-cut iceberg lettuce in BN/PE film packaging was very effective compared with the other films tested.

We explain a method to fabricate multi-layered transparent conductive films (TCF) using graphene oxide (GO), copper powder and polyurethane (PU) solution. The flexible graphene nanosheets (GNSs) serve as nanoscale connection between conductive copper nanoparticles (CuNps) and PU nanofibers, resulting in a highly flexible TCF. To fabricate conductive films with high transmittance, polyurethane (PU) nanofibers were used for a conductive network consisting of CuNps and GNSs (CuNps-GNSs). In this experiment, copper powder and graphene oxides were mixed in deionized water with the ultrasonication for 2 h. NaBH4 solution is used as a reduction agents of CuNps and GNSs (CuNps-GNSs) under a nitrogen atmosphere in the oil bath at 100% for 24 h to mixed. The purified and dispersed CuNp-GNS were obtained in deionized water, and diluted to a 10wt.% based on the contents of GNSs. Polyurethane (PU) nanofibers on a PET substrate were formed by electrospinning method. PET slides coated with the PU nanofibers were immersed into CuNp-GNS solution for several second, rinsed briefly in deionized water, and dried to obtain self-assembled CuNp-GNS/PU films. The morphology of the multi-layered films were characterized with a field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM, Hitachi S-4700) and atomic force microscope (AFM, PSIA XE-100). The electrical property was analysed by the I-V measurement system and the optical property was measured by the UV/VIS spectroscopy.
Physical analysis of some composite films of outer packaging at process cheeses in Korea is as following. Gas transmission $O_2:N_2:CO_2$ is $72.2{\mu}PET/PVDC/PE/AL-vac/PE\;film\;1.81:0.74:4.2cc/m^2{\cdot}24hr{\cdot}atm>79.3{\mu}PET/PVDC/L-LDPE\;film\;13.4:6.4:34.2cc/m^2{\cdot}24hr{\cdot}atm>96.9{\mu}PE/PVDC/PE\;film\;15.3:7.1:42.0cc/m^2{\cdot}24hr{\cdot}atm>61.6{\mu}PVDC/PE/AL-vac/CPS\;film\;25.3:12.5:59.3cc/m^2{\cdot}24hr{\cdot}atm$ each other. And for preservation this were sealed to filths $N_2,\;CO_2$ gas or defilling ai (vacuum type) in the packaging and reserved less than $10^{\circ}C$ at refrigerator.

The design and implementation of high rate deposition process and anti-scratch property of silicon oxide film by PECVD with UHF power were investigated according to the effect of UHF input power with HF bias. New regime of high rate deposition of SiOx films by hybrid plasma process was investigated. The dissociation of OMCTS (C8H24Si4O4) precursor was controlled by plasma processes. SiOx films were deposited on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polycarbonate substrate by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) using OMCTS with oxygen carrier gas. As the input energy increased, the deposition rate of SiOx film increased. The plasma diagnostics were performed by optical emission spectrometry. The deposition rate was characterized by alpha-step. The mechanical properties of the coatings were examined by nano-indenter and pencil hardness, respectively. The deposition rate of the SiOx films could be controlled by the appropriate intensity of excited neutrals, ionized atoms and UHF input power with HF bias at room temperature, as well as the dissociation of OMCTS.
Poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) base films with high light transmittance have been used for the substrate of various functional films in the flat panel display. The effects of the reflective index of coated films, the roughness of the film surface and the content of inorganic silica particles on the light transmittance were studied in this article. Light transmittance was increased by coating a water soluble resin with a low reflective index at an optimum thickness. The roughness of the film did not affect light transmittance when the Ra of the film surface was less than a quarter of the wavelength of incident light. Inorganic silica particles decreased light transmittance due to their absorbance and scattering of the incident light.

Transparent conducting indium tin oxide (TC-ITO) thin films on polymeric substrates have been deposited by a dc reactive magnetron sputtering without heat treatments. The polymeric substrates are acryl (AC), poly carbornate (PC), and polyethlene terephthalate (PET) as well as soda lime glass is also used to compare with the polymeric substrates. Sputtering parameters are an important factor for high quality of TC-ITO thin films prepared on polymeric substrates. Furthermore, the material, electrical and optical properties of as-deposited ITO films are dominated by the ratio of oxygen partial pressure. As the experimental results, the surface roughness of ITO films becomes rough as the oxygen partial pressure increases. The electrical resistivity of as-deposited ITO films decreases initially, and then increases with the increase of oxygen partial pressure. The optical transmittance at visible wavelength for all polymeric substrates is above 82 %.
