본 연구에서는 PDA 기반의 블루투스를 이용한 무선통신 방사선 측정 장치를 개발하였다. 제안하는 시스템은 방사선 측정 센서로 GM (Geiger-Mueller) 계수관을 이용하는 Vernier사의 Student Radiation Monitor, 데이터 획득을 위한 모듈로는 Vernier사의 LabPro, 데이터의 무선전송을 위하여 Initium사의 최대 30미터까지 블루투스 통신이 가능한 Promi-SD 101, 데이터의 저장과 디스플레이에는 운영체계로 Pocket PC 2003이 내장된 HP사의 5550으로 구성하였다. 방사선측정센서로 GM 계수관을 이용하였으므로 방사선 에너지 측정은 불가능하고 카운트 양과 카운트율을 측정할 수 있다. PC를 이용한 시스템의 자연방사선 계측치와 PDA를 이용한 시스템의 자연방사선 계측치를 비교한 결과, 제안하는 시스템은 자료의 왜곡 없이 송수신이 이루어지고 있음을 확인하였다.

This paper embodies the agent based cinder monitoring system which supports PDA(Personal Digital Assistant). Monitoring system automatically manages data by using data managing agents such as a state managing agent, a location managing agent, a badness managing agent, a circumstances managing agent, etc, and uses a massive data processing agent to manage massive data. The development of agent based data monitoring system for the stable cinder reuse will be an epoch-making method to develop the process mechanized or manual-labored that widely spreads into the real-time automated process.

현재까지 건설 산업에서의 정보화는 계속되는 노력에도 불구하고 타 산업에 비해 저효율의 활용 구조를 가지고 있다. 이와 같은 문제점은 이제까지 건설 산업의 정보화를 위한 노력이 대부분 건설 산업이 가지는 현장 중심적 특성이 고려되지 않은 가운데 타산업에서 사용되는 시스템 자체를 그대로 도입하여 운영되어졌다는 점에 있으며, 건설정보화 문제점 해결에 있어서도 사용 주체 위주의 편의성이 무시된 정보 시스템 구축이 이와 같은 문제점을 더욱 가중시키고 있다는 점을 지적할 수 있다. 따라서. 본 연구에서는 이러한 건설정보화 문제점을 해결하는 새로운 접근 방법으로서 향후 정보산업의 핵심으로 떠오르고 있는 Mobile Communication 개념의 Personal Digital Assistant(PDA)을 이용한 건설정보관리 시스템의 구축과 그에 대한 활용을 통하여 현 건설정보시스템이 가지고 있는 문제점들을 해결하는 데 그 목적을 두고 있다.

스마트장치(Smart Device)의 등장으로 인해 방송, 통신, 정보가 디지털 컨버전스(Digital Convergence)화 되고 있으며, 이를 활용한 다양한 응용도구들이 등장하고 있다. 무엇보다도 장소나 시간에 제한되지 않는 네트워크 환경의 사용 편의성 때문일 것이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 스마트장치의 연결성과 활용성을 극대화할 수 있는 다중사용자 실시간 대화형 어플라이언스를 제안한다. PDA의 장점인 휴대성, 터치패드 입력방식과 무선 네트워크를 극대화하여 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않는 커뮤니케이션을 제공한다. 동일 플랫폼 기반으로서 특정기기끼리의 통신이 아닌, 다양한 장치간의 통신이 가능하여 무한한 확장이 가능하다. 이것은 PDA to PDA 뿐만 아니라 PDA to PC, PDA to Cellular Phone, PC to PC 등 다양한 장치 호환성으로, 한 환경에서 다른 환경으로 작업 연장이 가능하다. 또한 앞으로 펼쳐질 유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous)환경에서 새로운 다중사용자 커뮤니케이션을 제안한다.

The server PC attached to the PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) acquires the current status (On/Off) of the devices through the RS-232 serial communications. Also, the moving image frames captured from the wireless camera is compressed in the JPEG format and is stored in the server. The PDA, which is connected to the server through wireless internet, receives the data about the status of the devices and controls the devices according to the circumstances of them. Also, it can receive the images from the server simultaneously. So, we ran monitor and control the specified area in the remote place using the PDA through the wireless communication.

As a pervasive healthcare application to help medication of elderly patients, the smart compliance monitors have been recently proposed. In this paper, we present a new smart drug/medicine pack (SDP) for ubiquitous medication monitoring, for which the packaging is either paper packet or blister pack. This ubiquitous compliance monitor is composed of several SDPs and a Bluetooth equipped PDA phone. The SDP is a wireless module that monitors the medication consumption unobtrusively by transmitting the sensed data of 'drug removal' events to the medical center and by reminding patients when they take a dose on their mobile phone. The communication between SDP modules and PDA is realized via Bluetooth. The PDA is basically embedded to indicate the medication record and to alert every prescribed medication time during treatment. Experimental results show that the proposed system works exactly when the SDPs are far within about 2 [m] from PDA.
