This study is to develop PDA_based surveying mapping system. This object is achieved by developing wireless communication module of PDA which is adaptable to Total Station and GPS. and contents for its usage. This system will be efficiently used to surveying parts of spatial location information for real time mapping and improving the modification of survey data.

본 연구에서는 현장에서의 유량측정 전 과정과 내업에서의 자료 검토 및 관리 등 일련의 유량측정 과정을 일관성 있고 편리하게 수행할 수 있도록 하는 유량측정 보조 장비인 PDA 시스템을 개발하였다. PDA는 방수가 가능하고, 휴대 가능한 소형이며, 계산, 자료 관리 및 전송 기능을 가지고 있으므로 이를 이용하여 유량측정 전 과정을 수행할 수 있으며, 이의 현장 활용을 통해 현장의 유량측정 정확도를 크게 개선시킬 수 있다. 더불어, 무선 전송된 현장 유량측정 결과를 원격지에서 수신하여 그 정확도를 재검토할 수 있도록 일반 PC용 유량 산정 및 검토용 시스템을 볕도 구축하였다. 개발된 PDA 시스템은 각종 유량측정 용역사업을 수행하는 용역업체 및 대학 등에서 유량측정 및 현장 평가, 보고 및 자료 관리 등에 직접 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대되려, 유랑측정용 PDA 시스템의 사용을 통해 일관성 있고 충실한 유량측정자료를 지속적으로 확보한 다면, 이후 신뢰성 있는 유량자료를 확보하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

본 논문에서는 내장형 리눅스 기반의 PDA(Personal Digital Assistants)를 위한 MPEG-4 비디오 재생기를 제안한다. PDA는 CPU 및 메인 메모리, 디스플레이 장치가 일반 PC에 비해 제한적이다. 현재 다양한 멀티미디어 데이터를 처리하기 위해 WinCE, Epoc, VxWorks과 같은 운영체제들이 개발되었으나, 운영체제의 크기가 크고 상용이라서 구입비용이 많이 드는 문제가 있다. 또, 기존의 MPEG-1, MPEG-2 같은 비디오 데이터는 1편의 영화를 감상하기에는 데이터의 크기가 커서 자원이 제한된 PDA에서 재생하기가 어렵다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 실시간 운영체제인 내장형 리눅스를 탑재하여 PDA의 제한된 자원을 효율적으로 사용하도록 하며, 데이터 압축률이 뛰어난 MPEG-4 포맷의 비디오를 재생할 수 있는 내장형 리눅스기반의 MPEG-4 비디오 재생기를 제안한다. 제안하는 MPEG-4 비디오 재생기는 화상통신 및 화상회의를 이동 중에 할 수 있다. 또한 PDA를 위한 MPEG-4 스트리밍 서비스를 지원하는 시스템에 적용 가능하다.

Home automation system is a demo which is capable of remote monitoring and control on PDA device (which was) programming used by LabVIEW PDA module in embedded system. Every operation program is composed of LabVIEW. And each embedded system is made of self-operating mode without any wiring of PC. This home automation system is controlled by LabVIEW of PDA through Wireless LAN(802.11b).

최근 모바일 컴퓨팅 기술이 발전되면서, PDA 등과 같은 소형 컴퓨팅 장치가 빠른 속도로 보급되고 있다. PDA는 이동전화나 무선 LAN 등을 통해서 다른 PDA 또는 일반 컴퓨터에 접속해서 메일 수신, 인터넷, 채팅 등에 사용되고 있다. 우리는 PDA간 또는 PDA와 데스크탑 컴퓨터간의 음성통신 기능을 제공하는 음성 전화 시스템을 개발하였다. 본 논문은 우리가 개발한 음성 전화 시스템의 기능, 구조, 구현을 소개한다. 우리의 음성 전화 시스템은 Windows CE 환경 하에서 동작하고 H.323을 지원하도록 설계되어있다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 음성통신을 위한 송, 수신 버퍼 사용의 효율적인 방법을 제안한다. 우리의 조사에 의하면, Windows CE 기반의 음성전화시스템에 대한 기존 연구가 거의 발표되지 않았다.

Hemodynamically significant preterm patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) affects mortality; comorbidities such as necrotizing enterocolitis, intraventricular hemorrhage, and bronchopulmonary dysplasia; and adverse long-term neurodevelopmental outcomes in preterm infants, particularly in very low birth weight infants. However, recent studies have indicated that there is no consensus on the causal relationship between PDA and neonatal outcomes, the benefit of PDA treatment, the factors guiding the need for treatment, and optimal treatment strategies. Such uncertainty has resulted in wide variations in practice for treating preterm PDA between units, regions, and nations. Nowadays, there has been a paradigm shift to more conservative treatment for preterm PDA, and suggestions regarding selective management of preterm PDA considering risk factors and hemodynamic significance are increasing. Neonatologist-performed echocardiography and advances in modalities to assess hemodynamic significance such as biologic markers and near-infrared spectroscopy also help improve the efficacy of selective treatment of preterm PDA.

컴퓨터만을 이용하던 데이터 통신의 개념이 이제는 흠 네트워킹 개념으로 확대되었고 통신 방법도 전력선, 광케이블, 무선 등을 이용하는 방식으로 발전되고 있으며, 핸드폰을 이용한 통신에서 노트북이나 PDA를 이용한 무선 네트워크로 바뀌고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 변화는 일반사회에서는 Ad-hoc 네트워킹에 대한 연구를 발전시키고 있으며, 군사적으로는 C4I, Spider 체계등 군사적 목적의 무선 네트워킹 개념이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이런 무선 네트워킹을 AX.25 Protocol을 기반으로 한 TNC와 PDA를 이용 모바일 무전기 데이터 통신 시스템을 구현하고, 이에 대한 성능평가를 통해 Ad-hoc 통신망에서 TNC를 이용한 PDA 무전기를 제안한다.

현재 온라인 비즈니스 모델의 성공 사례라 할 수 있는 바둑게임을 시간과 공간의 제약을 덜 받는 무선인터넷의 PDA(240*320픽셀) 기반 모바일 환경에서 대국을 한다면 온라인 환경에 비해 제한된 공간 관계로, 대기실과 대국실의 유져 인터페이스와 네트웍 시스템 측면의 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구는 사용자와 PDA의 상호관계에 있어 사용성을 최우선으로 고려하여 PDA 사용자 간의 네트웍 바둑게임을 구현하였다.

In this research, we tried to implement a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant)-based hearing aids fitting system to manipulate hearing aids-fitting parameters in the user's local environment. Due to the inherent portability of PDA system, we can consequently perform the hearing aids fitting operation without visiting a special site.

The PDA (Probabilistic Data Association) Filter proposes a new approach to the problem of tracking when the source of the measurement data is uncertain. The PDA filter shows good simulation results in a known clutter density. In this paper the PDA filter has been modified so that it can be applied when the clutter density is not known.
