  • 금속의 원자재 가격 상승으로 인하여 도금산업에서는 도금두께 균일도에 대한 정밀도를 더욱 요구하게 되었다. 특히, PCB(Printed Circuit Board) 산업에서는 초소형, 고밀집 제품이 주를 이루고 있기 때문에 도금두께를 정밀하게 제어하기에는 어려움이 따른다. 이에 PCB panel 제품에 대한 도금두께를 정밀하게 제어하기 위해 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 차폐판을 최적 설계하였다. 시뮬레이션의 정확도를 향상시키기 위하여 RDE(Rotaing Disk Electrode) 시스템을 사용하여 도금용액에 대한 전기화학 분석을 진행하였다. 27인치 PCB 제품에 대하여 차폐판을 적용한 결과, 기존에 비해 전류밀도분포 균일도가 약 20% 정도 향상되었다.

  • In this study, a heuristic for surface mounters is developed to find an efficient sequence on PCB and rack assignment by component grouping. As setting up 4 reels in a group, the distance of rack moving can be minimized. And then, a generalized model for N reels in a group is developed. It is found that the performance of this heuristic is better than other heuristics found in the literature. Throughout the simulation study, the suggested heuristic is performed about 8.2 ∼ 12% better than other heuristics.

  • 인간에게 있어서 시각 능력이란 정보 취득 및 처리 과정에 있어서 중요한 역할을 한다. 이러한 능력은 기계에 있어서도 자동화가 진전이 될수록 기계의 시각 능력 즉, 머신 비전의 기술이 중요한 역할을 한다. 따라서 산업이 발전함에 따라 머신 비전의 기술은 여러 분야에 걸쳐 요구되며, 이에 따른 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서도 산업 현장에 적용 할 수 있는 최적의 머신 비전 시스템 설계를 목적으로 하였으며, 그에 따른 PCB기판 검사 시스템에 대하여 연구하였다.

  • Shape-controlled copper oxides have been recovered from copper-containing waste etchant by neutralization with alkalihydroxide. Large amount of copper-containing waste etchant is generated from Printed Circuit Board industry. In an environmental and economic point of view, retrieve of the valuable natural resource from the waste is important. In recycling process of copper oxide from the waste etchant, reaction temperature controls shapes and sizes of the products. Copper oxide recovered below reaction temperature $40^{\circ}C$ was of a needle shape, while copper oxide comes in a platy shape above $40 ^{\circ}C$ . Physical properties of samples have been characterized using SEM, XRD, TGA and Atomic absorption spectroscopy.

  • 산업 현장에서 광범위하게 사용되고 있는 PCB 조림로봇은 부품정보를 취득하기 위한 초기화 작업에 숙련자의 반나절 이상의 시간이 요구된다. 이를 스캐너 입력 장치를 이용한 영상정보로부터 간단한 마우스 드래그 작업으로 부품 정보를 취득할 수 있게 하고, 취득되어진 정보는 데이터 베이스와 연동되어 관리가 가능하며, RS232를 사용하여 직접 로봇에 다운로드 하는 방법을 제안한다.

  • Revolutionary changes on multimedia, network and PDA(Personal digital assistants) causes PCB(Printed circuit beard) manufacturers to change their attitudes to product. Traditional idea for current market such as price, market, and service has collapsed down and new digitalization urges PCB manufacturers to deal with new technologies, shorter lead time with reasonable price, high qualities. Therefore PCB manufacturers have an effort to develop new marketing, products, processes for low cost to keep up pace with assembly makers.

  • According to the rapid development of cell phone and camera industry, all of electronic products obtain small-size, high-performance and variety. Therefore, PCB also obtains high-integration, multi-layers and high-specification rapidly. Among the digital cameras which are continuously evolved and developed, the market of mirror-less camera and hybrid digital camera is continuously increased because of the customer's request for small-size and weight lightening, except for DSLR camera. Therefore, the difficulty of PCB design is gradually increased and design L/T is longer according to the high-specifications, low-current and high-performance components. This thesis suggests the method to reduce L/T for PCB design applied to the reduction of digital camera's developing period and manufacturing period.

  • This research deals with multiple Gantry-type assembly machines for the optimization of PCB assembly line. The automated assembly machine has 6 nozzles which can linearly move the X axis and the Y axis different from the turret type assembly machine. Each machine is optimized while considering the whole line balancing of three machines in assembly process simultaneously. Simulation models are developed using AutoMod for comparison study with single machine operation cases under various conditions such as types and total number of components to evaluate the proposed method.
