회귀알고리즘을 이용한 우선순위 PC모니터링 시스템 (The Priority PC Monitoring System Using Regression Algorithm)

  • 최근 다수의 PC 통합 환경에 맞춰 대규모, 동적 관리 시스템 요구가 증가하고 있다. 하지만 그것에 대한 관리 시스템은 부재상태이다. 본 연구에서는 이상 상태에 즉각 대응하기 위한 회귀알고리즘을 적용하고, 우선 순위 임계 값 처리를 수행하는 모듈 구현, 다중 PC를 관리하는 소프트웨어 설계와 구현을 통해 이러한 문제를 해결하여 시스템의 효율과 최적화를 이루고자 하였다. 이를 가능하게 하기 위해 회귀알고리즘을 사용하였고 그 결과 아무리 규모가 늘어나도 최소한의 인력과 시스템으로 관리가 가능하게 하였다.

Penicillium citrinum 생육과 citrinin 생성에 미치는 젖산균의 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Lactobacillus spp. on the Growth and Citrinin production by Penicillium citrinum)

  • Penicillium citrinum의 생육과 citrinin 생성에 젖산균이 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 Penicillium citrinum을 치이즈 열성균인 Lactobacillus casei 및 Lactobacillus Bulgaricus와 혼합배의를 실시하였다. 즉 glucose를 7% 첨가한 APT 배지에 공식균을 각각 독립배의한 경우(Pc, Lb 및 Lc) , Penicillium citrinum 과 Lactobacillus spp.를 동시에 접종, 배양한 경우(ST; Pc+Lb 및 Pc+Lc) , Lactobacillus spp.를 접종하여 3일간 배양한 후 Penicillium citrinum을 접종하여 배양한 경우(LbPc 및 LcPc), 그리고 Penicillium citrinum을 접종하여 3일간 배양한 후 Lactobacillus spp.를 접종하여 배양한 경우 (PcLb 및 PcLc)로 구분하여 각각 30℃에서 15일간 정식 배의하면서 경시적으로 (0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15일) 배의 액의 pH와 산도를 측정하고 공식균의 생육과 citrinin 생성을 비교하였다. 그 결과 , 균의 생육은 혼합배의 의 경우 Penicillium citrinum의 성장이 크게 둔화되었고 특히 젖산균을 먼저 접종한 군(PcLb 및 PcLc)의 경우 더욱 현저히 나타났다. Citrinin의 생성은 곰팡이 대조군(Pc)과 곰팡이를 먼저 접종한군(PcLb 및 PcLc) 에서는 비슷한 함량을 보였으나 곰팡이와 세균을 동시 접종한 경우 (ST) 감소되었고, 특히 Lactobacillus spp. 배양 후 Penicillium citrinum을 접종한 군(LbPc 및 LcPc)에서는 citrinin 생성이 나타나지 않아 Penicillium citrinum의 생육과 citrinin 생성이 경쟁적으로 작용하는 microflora에 의해 큰 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다.

국내 POST PC 산업현황 및 발전방향

  • 향후 디지털 사회는 포스트 PC가 주도할 전망이다. 이에 따라 포스트 PC사업을 둘러싸고 마이크로소프트와 리눅스 업체들 간 협력사 확보 경쟁도 치열하게 전개되고 있으며 연말쯤에는 윈도우와 리눅스 계열의 포스트 PC제품이 속속 등장해 수요경쟁을 벌일 것으로 전망된다. 이에 본회 정보 통신 산업 팀에서는 지난 10월 12일 COEX에서 한국전자전 부대행사로 본회 회원사, 컴퓨터 업체, 정보통신 벤처 업계 등 1000개사가 참석한 가운데 국내 POST PC산업현황과 향후 발전방안을 주제로 기술세미나를 개최하였다. 본고는 세미나 내용 중 전자부품연구원 서경학 본부장이 발표한 내용을 중심으로 요약 정리하였다.

Inhibitory Effects on Dopamine Biosynthsis and Protective Effect on L-DOPA-induced Neurotoxicity of liriodenine in PC12 cells

  • The effects of liriodenine, an aporphine isoquinoline alkaloid, on dopamine biosynthesis and L-DOPA-induced neurotoxicity in PC12 cells were investigated. Treatment of PC12 cells with liriodenine at 10 $\mu\textrm{M}$ showed 33.6% inhibition of dopamine content decreased at 3 h and reached a minimal level at 12 h after the exposure to liriodenine at 10 $\mu\textrm{M}$.   • The effects of aporplline isoquinoline alkaloids such as liriodenine. anonaine and asimilobine on dopamine biosynthesis in PC12 cells were investigated. Treatment of PC12 cells with liriodenine (10 ${\mu}$M), anonaine (0.05 ${\mu}$M) and asimilobine (0.15 ${\mu}$M) showed 33.6%, 37.7% and 35.1 % inhibition of dopamine content for 12 h. The IC$\sub$50/ values of liriodenine. anonaine and asimilobine were 8.4 ${\mu}$M. 0.05 ${\mu}$M and 0.13 ${\mu}$M. respectively. (omitted)

안태(安胎)에 활용되는 산약(山藥)의 신경세포주에 대한 안전성 및 항산화효과에 대한 연구 (Non-toxic and Anti-oxydative effect of Dioscoreae Rhizoma on PC12 Cell)

  • Purpose : This study examined the non-toxic and the anti-oxidative effect of Dioscoreae Rhizoma on PC12 cells. Sanyak(Dioscoreae Rhizoma; chinese yam, shan yao) is well-known for its curing power for kidney, lung, spleen. Tonifies and augments the spleen and stomach. Tonifies the lung gi and augments the kidney yin. Tonifies the kidneys and also stabilizes and binds. it also binds the essence and treats spermatorrhea, frequent urination, and vaginal discharge. We are therefore interested in whether Dioscoreae Rhizoma is capable of causing abnormal apoptosis processes, and whether this condition can be rectified through Dioscoreae Rhizoma herb treatment. Methods : We used aqueous extract to treat PC12 cells with different concentrations treated with a water or a MeOH extract of Dioscoreae Rhizoma (0, x10, x20, x40, x80). The MTT (3, (4, 5-dimethyl-thiazol) 2, 5-diphenyl-tetraxolium bromide) reduction assay was employed to quantify the differences in cell activity and viability. The Bax expression level was monitored using western-blotting techniques. The patterns of the changes in expression were scanned and analyzed. Results : Bax and GSK-3${\beta}$ promotes cell death and down-regulated during the development of the PC12 cells. This is indicated that Dioscoreae Rhizoma is capable of inducing apoptosis in PC12 cells. The induced cell death and significantly inhibited by Dioscoreae Rhizoma, which can be explained by the increase in the inhibition of Bax and GSK-3${\beta}$ expression. It was also shown that Dioscoreae Rhizoma inhibits the release of $H_2O_2$ and prevents lipid peroxidation. Furthermore, the accumulation of wild type Bax protein significantly downregulated in a dose-dependent manner upon treatment with Dioscoreae Rhizoma. Conclusion : In conclusion, Dioscoreae Rhizoma can induce apoptosis via a Bax-dependent pathway or GSK-3${\beta}$ dependent pathway in PC12 cells into anti-oxidant and protective effect.

선지황(鮮地黃)이 PC12 세포 및 뇌해마 신경세포 손상에 미치는 영향 (Neuroprotective Effects of Rehmanniae Radix on PC12 Cells and Hippocampal Neural Cells)

  • The present study investigated neuroprotective effects Rehmanniae Radix on PC12 cells and hippocampal neural cells. PC12 cells were damage by $H_2O_2$ and nitric oxide and organotypic hippocampal slice cultures were damaged by oxygen-glucose deprivation. Then methanol extract of Rehmanniae Radix was treated with 0.5, 5, and $50\;{\mu}g/ml$ in culture media. Effects of Rehmanniae Radix were evaluated with cell viability assay, PI-staining, and TUNEL-labeling. Treatment of Rehmanniae Radix ($with\;5\;and\;50\;{\mu}g/ml$) produced significant increase of cell viability of PC12 cells damaged by $H_2O_2$ and by SNP-induced nitric oxide. Treatment of Rehmanniae Radix produced significant decrease of PI-uptake % in CA1 ($with\;5\;and\;50\;{\mu}g/ml$) and DG ($with\;50\;{\mu}g/ml$) regions of organotypic hippocampal slice cultures damaged by oxygen-glucose deprivation. Moreover, treatment of Rehmanniae Radix produced significant decrease of TUNEL- positive cells in CA1 ($with\;5\;and\;50\;{\mu}g/ml$) and DG ($with\;50\;{\mu}g/ml$) regions of organotypic hippocampal slice cultures damaged by oxygen-glucose deprivation. These results suggest that methanol extract of Rehmanniae Radix has neuroprotective effects on PC12 cells damaged by oxidative stress and on organotypic hippocampal slice cultures damaged by oxygen-glucose deprivation.

자완 수추출물(水抽出物)이 $H_2O_2$에 의해 유도(誘導)된 PC-12 세포주(細胞株)의 세포사(細胞死)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Study of Apoptotic Effect on Hydrogen Peroxide-induced Rat PC-12 Cells by Aster tataricus Water Extract)

  • Objective : Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a geriatric dementia that is widespread in old age. With an aging populace, AD is a looming problem in public health service. Alzheimer's disease is characterized by specific neuronal degeneration in certain areas of the brain. Mutations and abnormal expression of several genes are associated with ${\beta}-amyloid$ deposits and Alzheimer's disease; among them APP, PS1, and PS2, SOD, free radical, ROS. Methods:We studied herbal medicines that have a relationship to brain degeneration. From pre-modern times, although a variety of oriental prescriptions of Aster tataricus have been traditionally utilized for the treatment of AD, their pharmacological effects and action mechanisms have not yet been fully elucidated. Result : Based on morphological observations by phase-contrast microscope, TUNEL assay and MTT in the culture media, $H_20_2-induced$ cell death was significantly inhibited by Aticus. We examined by ROS formation, catalase activity and GSH activity. We studied the protective effect and inhibitory effects of neurotoxicity in $H_20_2-induced$ PC-12 cells by Aticus. Findings from our experiments show that Aticus inhibits apoptosis, which has neurotoxicities and cell damage in PC-12 cells. In addition, treatment with Aticus ($>25{\mu}g/ml$ for 6hrs) partially prevented $H_20_2-induced$ cytotoxicity in PC-12 cells, and induced a protective effect. Conclusion : As the result of this study, in the Aticus group, the apoptosis in the nervous system was inhibited, protected against the degeneration of PC-12 cells by $H_20_2$. Taken together, Aticus exhibited inhibition of $H_20_2-induced$ apoptotic cell death. Aticus was found to induce protective effect on GSH and catalase in PC-12 cells. Based on these findings, Aticus may be beneficial for the treatment of AD.
