A study on Simple and Complex Algorithm of Self Controlled Mobile Robot for the Obstacle Avoidance and Path Plan (자율 이동로봇의 장애물 회피 및 경로계획에 대한 간략화 알고리즘과 복합 알고리즘에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we present two types of vision algorithm that mobile robot has CCD camera. for obstacle avoidance and path plan. One is simple algorithm that compare with grey level from input images. Also, The mobile robot depend on image processing and move command from PC host. we has been studied self controlled mobile robot system with CCD camera. This system consists of TMS320F240 digital signal processor, step motor, RF module and CCD camera. we used wireless RF module for movable command transmitting between robot and host PC. This robot go straight until 95 percent filled screen from input image. And the robot recognizes obstacle about 95 percent filled something, so it could avoid the obstacle and conclude new path plan. Another is complex algorithm that image preprocessing by edge detection, converting, thresholding and image processing by labeling, segmentation, pixel density calculation.

  • A face recognition is currently the field which many research have been processed actively. But many problems must be solved the previous problem. First, We must recognize the face of the object taking a location various lighting change and change of the camera into account. In this paper, we proposed that new method to fund feature within fast and correct computation time after scanning PC camera and ID card picture. It converted RGB color space to YUV. A face skin color extracts which equalize a histogram of Y ingredient without the luminance. After, the method use V' ingredient which transformes V ingredient of YUV and then find the face feature. The reult of the experiment shows getting correct input face image from ID Card picture and PC camera.

  • We introduce the application what using the MultiTouch-Table of the PC-mechanic Certification. Thesedays, People does't use the Mouse and Keyboard and use people gesture. We introduce Graphic and Image by addition. Theseday, MultiTouch-Table is so famous. We use it the multitouch-table to on 3D Maxs and C#. We help them to get the certification using the component Scale and Drags through the camera view and then include the PC-Mechanic question of domestic.

  • To process data of digital linescan camera, the frame grabber is essential to handle the data in low-level and in high speed more than 30 MHz stably. Traditional approaches to the development of hardware in vision system for the special purpose are mai y based on PC system, and are expensive and gigantic. Therefore, there are many difficulties in applying those in the field. So we investigate, in this paper, the implementation of FPGA for real-time processing of digital linescan camera. The system is not based on PC, but electronic device such as micropncessor. So it is expected that the use of FPGAs for low-level processing represents a fast, stable and inexpensive system. The experiments are carried out on the web guiding system in order to show the efficiency of the new image processor.

  • This paper deals with the real-time monitoring and control system using PC, PDA(Win CE embedded device) and PCS(based BREW platform). The camera attached to the server captures the moving target, and the captured frame of color image is encoded in JPEG for image compression at the server. The client(PC, PDA, PCS) receives the image data from the remote server and the received image is decoded from decompression. We use the TCP/IP protocol to send the image frames. The client can control the position of the camera by sending the control command to the server. Two DC servo motors for the camera are controlled in any directions, up-down and left-right, by the controller which is communicating with the server via the serial communication to get the control command. In this way, on the client we can monitor the moving images at the server and also control the position of the camera.

  • 기존의 보안시스템은 설비가 비싸고 녹화를 끊임없이 계속함에 따라 저장 용량이 커야하는 문제점이 있고 영상을 단순히 저장하는 외에 다른 부가적 기능이 없다. 본 연구에서는 고성능, 고가의 장비가 아닌 단순한 PC 카메라 와 일반컴퓨터를 이용한 화상 보안 시스템을 제안 한다. 이 시스템은 단순한 녹화 외에 다양한 부가기능을 포함하고 있으며 프로그램이 설치된 컴퓨터를 떠난 외부에서도 감지한 침입을 통보 받을 수 있다. Main Application의 역할은 감시, 재생, 통계, 필터로 분류된다. 카메라에서 실시간으로 보내오는 영상을 메인 프로그램에서 보여주고 일시 정지, 필터 바로 가기 등을 통하여 필터와 연계된다. 이미 저장된 영상은 재생기능을 통하여 재생하며 이제까지 저장된 영상들은 모두 데이터베이스에 통계 화 되어 저장된다. 또한 실시간으로 보여 지는 영상들을 일정한 간격으로 웹 서버로 보내진다.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a powerful 6-axes general welding robot utilizing a low cost vision system. The developed vision system is composed of a CCD camera, a PC with windows 98 OS, and a PC-Robot communication program using Visual C++. A test was carried out to investigate whether the welding torch can precisely follow up the welding path. It shows that the result of this study can readily be applied to practical welding operations.

  • In this paper, we design and implement remote servo motor control system with real-time micro embedded operating system. The system, where controller and camera image grabber are mounted, handles control commands transmitted from a remote PC web browser. A hard real-time servo motor driver running on the real-time micro embedded OS and then a digital control application which confirms precise sampling time intervals is constructed. Frame grabber images transmitted from camera are saved in a image data format to view on remote PC web browser.

  • As interests Un virtual reality being increased, the importance of HCI(Human computer interaction) field using gesture is also increased. However, in the preceding gesture recognition, the requirement of high-cost peripheral equipments limits users right. In this paper we suggest that through using low cost of USB PC-camera users are allowed to have more flexibly and cost down so that it can be adopted much commonly.

  • A distance learning is diffusing rapidly in society. It is more difficult to confirm a learner's identity and learning processing in a distance learning. Distance learning has a checking attendance system because a teacher and student do not meet face to face. There are some checking attendance systems such as login check, SMS authenticating system, unexpected quiz, and so on. However, existing checking attendance system has some problems to check learner's attendance in a whole lesson. Therefore, this study designed and developed learner's attendance system based on PC camera's shot of certification in a whole lesson. This attendance checking system can judge real attendance of learners in a distance learning and distance evaluation. The system is expected to make trust of a distance learning higher.
