적외선 광학계통 성능평가를 위한 간섭계 개발 (Development of Interferometer for Performance Assessment of IR Optical System)

  • 적외선 광원으로 $CO_2$ 레이저를 사용하였고 광속을 2.5 cm의 직경으로 확대하여 Twyman-Green 간섭계를 구성하였다. 각종 렌즈는 Ge 렌즈로, 광속분리기는 ZnSe 평행판으로 택하였다. Pyro-electric vidicon camera에 의해 CRT monitor에 간섭무늬를 제시하며 image card에 의해 digitize되고 PC로 강도분포가 입력되어 data처리된다. 여기서, 적외선 간섭무늬는 thermal paper 상에 기록하였다. 가시영역에서는 He-Nefp이저를 광원으로 하고 CCD 카메라로 검출하여 CRT monitor에 제시하였다. 파면수차함수, PSF, OTF가 계산되어 3차원 그래프로 제시되며 프린트 된다.

  • An automatic measurement system which collects experimental data at an unmanned station where the networking to the internet could not be accessed was developed. With a Robo-rail accessing to the unmanned station, wireless local networking between server PC at the Rob-rail and client PC at the unmanned station is possible within 30 m from an access point equipment located at the unmanned station. An algorithm for transferring the data file which is saved in the client PC at the unmanned station to the server PC in the Robo-rail was proposed. IEEE-1394 camera was used to collect the data at the client PC. An extracting program from the IEEE-1394 captured images to character data and number data was developed using image processing technique, which drastically reduces the size of data file comparing to that of the raw image file.

체감형 콘텐츠 개발을 위한 연속동작 매칭 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Gesture Matching Method for the Development of Gesture Contents)

  • 본 연구에서는 윈도우즈 PC용 연속동작 감지 카메라, Xtion을 이용한 PC-윈도우 플랫폼 기반의 연속동작 녹화 및 매칭방법의 개발 내용을 소개한다. 해당 방법을 개발하기 위해 카메라를 통해 얻은 깊이 정보, RGB 화상 정보, 뼈대 정보를 가공하고 비교하는 API를 먼저 개발하였다. 유효관절만을 선택적으로 비교하는 pose 비교 방법이 개발되었으며, 연속동작 비교에서는 pose 사이에 다른 틀린 pose가 섞여도 인식할 수 있는 방법이 개발되었다. 특정 pose나 연속동작 검출을 위해 샘플 데이터를 기록하고 테스트할 수 있는 도구가 개발되었다. 6종류의 다른 pose 및 연속동작을 촬영하고 테스트한 결과, pose는 100%의 인식성공과 연속동작은 99%의 인식성공이 이루어져 개발된 방법의 유용성을 검증할 수 있었다.

선박 자동접안시스템 구축을 위한 기초연구 (A Study on the Development of Automatic Ship Berthing System)

  • In this paper vector code correlation(VCC) method and an algorithm to promote the image processing performance in building an effective measurement system using cameras are described for automatically berthing and controlling the ship equipped with side thrusters. In order to realize automatic ship berthing, it is indispensable that the berthing assistant system on the ship should continuously trace a target in the berth to measure the distance to the target and the ship attitude, such that we can make the ship move to the specified location. The considered system is made up of 4 apparatuses compounded from a CCD camera, a camera direction controller, a popular PC with a built in image processing board and a signal conversion unit connected to parallel port of the PC. The object of this paper is to reduce the image processing time so that the berthing system is able to ensure the safety schedule against risks during approaching to the berth. It could be achieved by composing the vector code image to utilize the gradient of an approximated plane found with the brightness of pixels forming a certain region in an image and verifying the effectiveness on a commonly used PC. From experimental results, it is clear that the proposed method can be applied to the measurement system for automatic ship berthing and has the image processing time of fourfold as compared with the typical template matching method.

  • IP 카메라는 원격지에서도 감시할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, UTP를 통해 전원 공급도 가능한 장점을 가지고 있으므로 아날로그 CCTV를 급속하게 대체하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 IP 카메라에 널리 적용되고 있는 ONVIF 표준의 프로토콜 구조와 그 외에도 이를 지원하기 위한 인터넷 프로토콜들을 소개하고, 상용보드 상에서 ONVIF 디바이스를 구현한다. 이러한 기능들은 클라이언트 (PC)의 관리 프로그램에서 제어 가능하지만, 사생활 보호 마스크나 열화상 카메라의 온도표시, 관심 영역과 같은 기능은 디바이스 상에서 웹 뷰어를 통해 구현한다. 실험을 통해 IP 카메라와 클라이언트 프로그램이 주고받는 SOAP 메시지와 스트리밍되는 영상을 통해 ONVIF Profile S와 웹 뷰어 기능을 확인한다.

연안 어장에서의 불법 조업 어선의 탐지, 식별 및 감시 시스템 개발 (Detection, Identification and Surveillance System Development of Illegal Fishing Vessels in Inshore Fishing Ground)

  • A real-time surveillance system of the inshore fishing ground was constructed to identify and detect discrete targets, such as illegal fishing vessels. This paper describes measurements made with a combination of sensors, such as radar, CCTV camera, and GPS receivers, for monitoring the fishing activity of small vessels within the fishing limit zones of the inshore waters. The CCTV camera system was used to confirm detection and to classify the type of target. The location of legal vessels distributed in coastal waters was acquired from each GPS system of ships connected to commercial satellite communication network. The surveillance system was networked via LAN to one host PC with the use of electronic navigational charts (ENC) and a radar link. Radar Target Extractor (RTX) for radar signal processing can be remotely accessed and controlled on existing PC via the internet, from anywhere, at any time. Results are presented that demonstrate the effectiveness of the newly constructed fisheries monitoring system for conducting continuous surveillance of illegal fishing vessels in the inshore fishing ground. The identification of illegal fishing vessels was achieved by comparing radar positions of illegal fishing vessels exceeding the warning limits in the surveillance area with GPS position reports transmitted from legal fishing vessels, and the illegal fishing vessels were marked with red symbols on the ENC screen of a PC. The methods to track the activities of all vessels intruding or leaving the fishing limit zones also were discussed.

  • This paper deals with the algorithm development that inspects defects such as Lens Focus, Black Defect, Dim Defect, Color Defect, White Balance, and Line Defect caused by the process of Compact Camera Module (CCM). These days the demand of CCM goes on increasing in various types like PDA, a cellular phone and PC camera every year. However, owing to the defect inspection of CCM by the semiskilled work the average inspection time of CCM takes about 40 to 50 seconds. As time goes by the efficiency takes a sudden turn for the worse because workers must inspect with seeing a monitor directly. In this paper, to solve these problems, we developed the imaging processing algorithm to inspect the defects in captured image of assembled CCM. The performances of the developed inspection system and its algorithm are tested on many samples. Experimental results reveal that the proposed system can focus the lens of CCM within 5s and we can recognize various types of defect of CCM modules with good accuracy and high speed.

  • Compact Camera Module(CCM) is widely used in PDA, Celluar phone and PC web camera. With the greatly increasing use for mobile applications, there has been a considerable demands for high speed production of CCM. The major burden of production of CCM is assembly of lens module onto CCD or CMOS packaged circuit board. After module is assembled, the CCM is inspected. In this paper, we developed the image capture board for CCM and the imaging processing algorithm to inspect the defects in captured image of assembled CCMs. The performances of the developed inspection system and its algorithm are tested on samples of 10000 CCMs. Experimental results reveal that the proposed system can focus the lens of CCM within 5s and we can recognize various types of defect of CCM modules with good accuracy and high speed.

  • In this paper, an automatic spot inspection system has been developed for camera target lens using the computer aided vision system. The developed system comprises: light source, magnifying optics, vision camera, XY robot, and a PC. An efficient algotithm for the spot detection has been implemented, thus up tof ew micrometer size spots can be effectively identified in real time. The developed system has been fully interfaced with XY robot systenm, PLCs, thus the practical spot inspection system has been implemented. The system has been applied to a practical camera manufacturing process, and showed its efficiency.

  • The camera system we researched has two stepping motors for the pan and tilt operation, and the human face tracking algorithm. Recently, this kind of the camera is used in PC communication, telecommunication vision meeting and tele-lecture. This paper discusses the smooth speed control method of this camera when the face is moved to up, down, left and right direction. We used a mean shift algorithm for the face-tracking, proposed the speed control algorithm using a fuzzy logic and certified this characteristics with the experiment.
