  • 지난 20여년 동안 수공학 분야에 있어서도 computer system은 단순히 계산을 위한 목적뿐만 아니라 자료의 분석, 정리와 결과의 다양한 출력에 있어 활발히 이용되어져 왔다. 특히 최근 몇년동안에는 personal computer가 기존의 중형, 대형 computer의 많은 역활을 분담 또는 전담하게 되었고 personal computer의 저렴한 가격, 취급의 용이한 점, 주변장치의 다양성, software의 충분한 공급등의 특징으로 인해 수공학 분야에서도 personal computer의 역활은 점점 증대되어 가고 있다. 이에 많은 수공기술인들이 이미 pc를 사용하고 있거나 혹은 관심을 갖고 있는 것으로 추측되어 국내 시장에서 쉽게 구입할 수 잇는 pc에 대해서 같은 이용자의 입장에서 pc에 관한 정보를 제공하고자 한다. 물론 시중에는 여러가지 model의 pc가 보급되어 있으나 여기서는 가장 범용으로 손쉽게 구할 수 있고 그 처리속도나 용량등이 전문적인 기술인에 적합하다고 판단되는 IBM-XT / AT 와 유사한 system에 대해서만 언급하고자 한다.

  • In recent years, through the rapid development in personal computer technology, it has become possible to make a radar simulator based on the personal computer. The advantage of the personal Computer aidd radar simulator lies in its cost effectiveness, when comparing with that using the real radar. Although there have been studies carried out to develop radar simulator using PC and the products of thi kind is in the commercial market already, they are all using the mockup of the real radar, and therefore, the price of the simulator is still rather expensive. In this respect, this thesis aims to develop a ARPA radar simulator which is running on the sole PC, so that the students of the maritime educational institution may get ARPA radar training easily and cheaply. The simulator developed in this thesis using Visual Basic is found to run successfully on the 486PC, and it is expected that this new simulator system designed first time in Korea would be used as an easily accessible ARPA radar training equipment.

  • In general, computer industry is known as clean sector, but computer is a complicated assembly which is highly hazardous substances such as lead, cadmium, mercury, Hexavalent chromium, plastics etc. This paper was presented the quantity of hazardous substances in the personal computer and the problem of its disposition-incinerating, landfilling, recycling. Also EPR which is the solution of e-waste was introduced.

  • Attempt to protect personal computer from hacking, virus, worm, and the troy wooden horse is progressed variously. Nevertheless, it is very difficult fer public users to understand configurations to enhance security stability in windows based personal computer, and many security problem is due to there lack of recognize about information accessability, various kind of configuration, these necessity, and efficiency. Accordingly, it is demandded to develop an efficient system to protect networks and personal computer with automated method. In this paper, we derive problems of personal computer by analyzing various vulnerableness and policy on security, through which we design and implement the system to solve various windows system problem conveniently.

A Study on the Development of Air Pollution Dispersion Model for Personal Computer (特定地域의 大氣汚染 擴散모델 開發에 關한 硏究)

  • This study was performed to develop a long-term air pollution dispersion model based on CDM program for use in the personal computer. The model CDM.PC, developmented for use of this study, simplified the plum equation of point pollution source in a windy state and sindless state. We used the classified 8 class stability, 16 wind direction and 4 class wind speed for the computer input climatological data. The plum rise equation is applied for CONCAWE's equation above 2,000 Kcal/sec of the exhaust calorie and Moses-Carson's equation below 2,000Kcal/sec at windy state, and Brigg's equation at calm. The time required is 200 minutes for drawing the air pollution contour for treating ten stacks under the above-stated conditions. It is the weakness of using personal computer that the operation time is longer than a large-size computer. But it strength is that the personal computer is used widely. To compare the treatment results of CDM.PC with TCM, we comfirmed that the shape of $SO_2$ pollution contour is similar but the concentration distribution is quite different because of characteristics of each models. Estimated and measured $SO_2$ concentration were similar, namely, Cest/Cob ratio of CDM.PC and TCM were respectively $0.96 \pm 0.25 (mean\pmS.D)$ and $1.08\pm0.26$.

  • The greenhouse control system is designed by personal computer. This system should observe and control the growth conditions for crops in both plastic film and glass greenhouses. In this contribution puts emphasis on graphical user interface for greenhouse control system by personal computer under the aim of creating safer, more effective and more economical services. This system is developed for the requirements of the intelligent greenhouse control system and gives a lot of convenience for farmer who is not familiar with pc technique. The GUI and control system are programmed by Visual C++ and Visual Basic.

  • Since computerized numerical controller(CNC) emerged as a result of the fusion of the electronics technology and the mechanical technology, there has been continuous evolution of CNC technology in the mechatronics industry. The industry is recently developing a new control system based on the fusion of personal computer(PC) and CNC. Upgraded PC has now integrated into CNC, making various machines possible to exchange data, software and hardware, and to greatly improve man-machine interface. The fusion of PC and CNC can form a new paradigm in technological innovation of not only control system but also whole machinery industry in near the future. Korea lagged behind the developed countries in the development of open control system with the fusion of PC. Turbotek, Hyundai Motor and Daewoo are leading companies, but their commercial possibility seems to be low because domestic market is too small to reap a commercial benefit. Nevertheless, the development of the system is an essential step for Korea to embark on a future technological paradigm of the machinery industry. The government needs to play some role for the development, for instance, government R&D projects, institutional building and training of related technicians.

  • The "information roadway" will give us an impact of new PC based assignments and administrations, yet the unusualness of this new condition will ask for another style of human-PC association, where the PC transforms into a sharp, dynamic and customized partner. Interface administrators are PC programs that use Artificial Intelligence frameworks to give dynamic help to a customer with PC based errands.
