In Korea, the price schedule for local telephone combines two-part tariffs and peak-load pricing subject to rate-of-return (RoR) regulation. Although the effect of RoR regulation on two-part tariffs or peak-load pricing has been separately analyzed by many authors in some detail, the behaviour of regulated firm under combined two-part and peak-load pricing has not been studied until now. This paper examines the effect of regulation on the rate structure and welfare under combined two-part and peak-load pricing.

In this paper, we present a supervision and coordination level monitoring the adaptive controller and taking appropriate ,actions if malfunctions are detected. Supervision and coordination level are consist of start-up part and run-time part. The start-up part involves tasks for the configuration and the implementation of controllers, and the run-time part involves tasks for the supervision and coordination of the controllers in closed-loop operation. Also, we show how a supervision level and a coordination level can be designed and what basic elements should be included. Finally, we show the robustness of this scheme by experimental results for task model.

As a cornerstone of assembly automation, the automatic part feeders are used to feed the various kind of the parts to the assembly workstation in the desired order and fashion. In this paper, EXPERT SYSTEM consisting of the data base for the feeding functions and part properties plus the rule base for the selection of feeder types is developed. The symbolic data of the part properties are used as basic factors in the selection rule of the suitable feeder types.

This paper deals with a dual mode control system design for the starching work robot. From the feature of this work, the robot has redundant degree of freedom. In this paper, we try to split the whole movement the robot into a gross motion part ai. a fine motion part so as to achieve a good tracking performance. The preview learning control is applied to the gross motion part. The validity of the dual mode control architecture is demonstrated.

In this paper, we propose an Intelligent Monitoring Network System(IMNS) for The truck scale balance system. Truck scale balance system consis of three parts； Load cell part, Indicator part, and Junction box part. IMNS is attached to Junction box in truck scale balance system. Even if Load cell have been some problems, a truck scale balance system still has been run to determine, the values involved error. therefore prosed system is has concentrated on Load cell part. Other Parts have been changed a portion of circuit for monitoring system.

A wire communication module for PLC controller was developed. This system consists of RF module interface part, RS232 serial communication control part, LED display part and control S/W with GUI interface. RF communication frequency is controlled by PLL controlling and communication rate is also controlled as 1200 and 4800 bps. Communication and control status are displayed on LED. As a S/W part, graphic user interface on Window 95 O.S. was developed. To show the validity of the developed system, severial communication and control of PLC system were experemented.

We proposed the intelligent system to control prosthetic robot. The proposed intelligent system was used competitive network, SOFM and LVQ, and consisted of pre-processing part and associative part. A pre-processing part was processed EMG signal and associative part was outputted signal to control prosthetic robot. To verify the effectiveness, we adapted to 2 link manipulator for korean consonant.

This paper presents a similarity coefficient based approach to the problem of machine-part grouping for cellular manufacturing. The method uses relevant production data such as part type, production volume, routing sequence to make machine cells and part families for cell formation. A new similarity coefficient using weighted factors is introduced and an algorithm for formation of machine cells and part families is developed. A comparative study of two similarity coefficient methods, Gupta and Seifoddini's method and the proposed method, is conducted.

The expanding method of tube to tubesheet joint part on neclear steam generators are classified into three classes of roller expanding, explosive expanding and hydraulic expanding. After the expanded Mock-Up specimen are made by the three expanding method. The general properties, microstructure/microvickers hardness, pull-out strength, hydraulic leak pressure, of tube to tubesheet joint part were inspected. and We evaluated the operation efficiency of expansion, reproduction of expanded joint about three expanding method. Through the overall evaluation of tube to tubesheet joint part, The hydraukic expanding and explosive expanding could be certificated more useful expanding method.

Generic sentences assert generic properties of single individuals or those of plural individuals. It means the generic quantifier Gen can quantify over single and plural entities. Among the generic meaning information represented in terms of the tripartite structure, the information not in the nuclear scope part, but rather in the restrictor part is related to which individuals generic sentences assert of. The plurality in the nuclear scope part cannot be described by making the generic operator Gen quantify over plural entities: Generic sentences with collective predicates like gather, and those with dependent plurals predicate of generic properties of single individuals. On the contrary, the plural information in restrictor part leads Gen to quantify eve. plural entities.
