  • In order to removal turbidity at high turbidity, this study was carried to evaluate the coagulants(Alum, PACl, PACS) that was suited the characteristics of raw water in water treatment plants and to determinate the optimum method of lime feed. When the optimum coagulant was selected the organic matter removal was also investigated as $UV_{254}$. PACl, lime first feed had the highest turbidity removal efficiency rate as above 99.1% and then $UV_{254}$ removal rate was obtained over than 88.0%. If you had the necessary of the lime feed, among the method of lime feed time interval feed largely was improved than simultaneous feed. Also, lime feed dose had about 1/5 of coagulants dose in case of Alum and PACl, but always PACS should be considerated lime dose.

  • Cell recovery from high cell density broths of Alcaligenes eutrophus by pretreatment with aluminum-based coagulants such as aluminum sulfate, polyaluminum hydrooxide chloride silicate (PACS), and polyaluminum hydrooxide chloride (Hi-PAX) was carried out. Cells coagulated with coagulants could be successfully recovered above 95-99% by centrifugation or filtration. The optimum initial pH of fermentation broths for cell recovery was in the range of 10 to 12. Optimum coagulants dosage for cell recovery increased with increasing of cell concentrations (21-160 g/L). The optimum coagulant dosages to recover cells with more than 95% cell recovery by centrifugation for the cell concentrations ranged 21-160 g/L were as follows: aluminum sulfate, 416-1708 mg Al/L; PACS, 211-826 mg Al/L; Hi-PAX, 320-960 mg Al/L. At optimum conditions for the coagulation of cells, centrifugal forces for 95% of cell recovery were dependent on the cell concentration. The centrifugal forces at 82 g/L and 160 g/L of cell concentration were only 45${\times}$g and 1600${\times}$g, respectively.

  • Part of mid-J CO emission detected by the Herschel/PACS observations of embedded young stellar objects (YSOs) has been attributed to the UV-heated outflow walls. We have applied our newly developed self-consistent models of Photon Dominated Region (PDR) and Non-LTE line Radiative transfer In general Grid (RIG) to the Herschel FIR CO observations. If the black body radiation of T = 15,000 K is used, the observed mid-J CO line fluxes can be produced in inner dense regions (n ${\geq}$ 106 cm-3) with -4.5 ${\leq}$ log Gdust/n ${\leq}$ -2.5, where gas temperatures are larger than 300 K and CO abundances are ${\geq}$ 10-5, along the UV-heated outflow walls. The contribution of the UV heated outflow cavity wall in Class I seems to be larger than that in Class 0.

  • This study applies in case of operating an exam using by the contrast order or inputting an order of a contrast media the exam of Radiology Department. It is developed for helping decision making as regards a process of an exam from reading the creatinine value automatically linked with Laboratory Information System. It can be confirmed by real-time information; therefore, the creditability of the information is able to be improved. We will create the base for Patient Monitoring System with the data from the side effect of the creatinine value and allergies. Decision Support System minimize the inconvenience and the riskiness of the given contrast medium for CT tests. We would like to improve medical services by providing a standard circumstance where patients are able to run tests safely and comfortably.

  • This paper describes how to derive audit criterion, audit domain, detail technology, and functional check items which are core of hospital information system, consisting of OCS, EMR, and PACS. Using the check items listed above, we investigated the objective validity for the construction audit of hospital information system. As a result, the derived audit criterion, audit domain, detail technology, and functional check items were verified as check items for audit. Since using the current audit check items of public area is insufficient to construct efficient, reliable, and stable hospital information system, we suggest adopting the hospital information system audit area, audit check items, and process that are presented in this paper.

  • IT investments of hospitals are growing exponentially and various information systems such as OCS (Order Communication System), EMR (Electronic Medical Record), PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) have been implemented at a number of hospitals in Korea. We have surveyed and analyzed the current status of hospital information systems of major hospitals in Korea, and proposed an information strategy for e-Hospital implementation. Firstly, implementation status of major subsystems of HIS such as OCS, PACS, and EMR has been surveyed and types of IT personnel management have been examined. Based on the field survey result, an information strategy for e-Hospital implementation has been proposed, that can be referenced by hospitals to build their own information strategy. We expect that the study result can contribute to understanding the present status and issues of HIS and information strategy planning of hospitals.
